Fun so far! Minor issue.

This game is almost everything I wished it would be. The graphics are great, the story is clear and makes sense, the fighting dynamics are great, and the other elements are very detailed and a nice addition. However, I’m having an issue that I’m not sure if it’s a glitch or a feature. When I equip items to my character (i.e. sword, gloves, helmet) they don’t actually display on the character. Meaning if they are equipped, they do not change the appearance of the character. It’s a small issue, but a weird one nonetheless. Other than that everything seems to worked as expected!

This game is so fun!!!

I have played many mobile games and all of them get boring but this has sucked me in. I wasn’t sure if the chess like play style at first. However, now I love it and the storyline is good as well. Everything is so detailed and interesting. They did a very good job with this game and I suggest everyone give it a try. What are you waiting for download it now!!

Nice gender lock you’ve got there.

1st of all, the game’s servers aren’t up until 9/19. So the fact that it’s available to download already is a little odd.

Cinematic in the beginning looked pretty solid, though I can’t vouch for the voice acting.

I thought I’d leave an early review here, because of the red flag I’m already spotting: gender locked character creation. Seriously? Why are games still coming out like this? You have 4 races available, and two of each are locked to male or female respectively. Why? You literally have a male lizardfolk in the cinematic. Why can I not play as one? Or a female dwarf or elf, or a male human? I’m mindblown by the laziness. I’m hoping that there’s just a button that I’m overlooking, but I can’t find it for the life of me.

I obviously have no idea what the gameplay will be like yet, so I’ll update this once I get a taste. The bar is pretty low, guys. Hopefully, it’s worth the silliness.

Beautiful looking but disappointing

Gorgeous came to look at. Movement and most commands very intuitive. Still a few bugs, but it’s a new game and I’m sure they’ll fix it. But what’s truly disappointing is the combat mechanics. You don’t really do anything but stand there and occasionally cast your spell/use your super power. It’s not turn by turn (thankfully) but you are limited in what you can do. For such a beautiful looking game it’s a let down.

Looking forward to it!!

Having participated in the previous testing phases, I've developed a strong fondness for this game's exploration features. The ability to acquire various resources randomly has kept me engaged, and the freedom it offers is exceptional. I'm eagerly anticipating the official release, hoping it will introduce even more new heroes and maps to further enhance the experience.

9/10

Very well written and I think it went greatly into detail in the game. I would say some of it is thrown so fast at you and at times it can seem like much but I enjoy fast paced. The game is still developing and I am looking forward to even better gameplay and I would 100% recommend to anyone I meet to play this game

D and D feel

I like the effort for the game to incorporate a D&D feel along with being a character collection game. One thing I have noticed, is how poorly I roll for summons. Many of my rolls have been for the very few starting characters I already had. At this rate, I will never collect many of the new characters, let alone ever getting one legendary. But otherwise I am enjoying the game well enough.

Intrigueing

I get lost in playing this game . The hours just disappear as I wonder this world of chaos. In this game you get help from other in game characters so you are not battling alone . Levels go up fast . Only problem I have is I found a few bugs on buttons that don’t work when touched , but it’s a fun game to play .

I'm really looking forward to this game.

As a veteran player who participated in the CBT, I've made numerous new friends within the game. It's been a long wait, but the official launch is finally here. I've been eagerly anticipating this moment. Let's embark on this journey together and dive into battle. I'm hoping the new version will include the heroes I've grown fond of.

So far, so good

I’m still very early into the game, but I can already appreciate the slight departure from the style of gacha/rpg that I’m used to. I enjoy the roaming, dice checks, character attribute bonuses and puzzles.

Here’s hoping things stay fresh and they don’t over-monetize progression! Having lots of fun as is.

By

Doesn't work

Game gave an error on first opening. I force closed and reopened. It let me roll a dice then do a single battle against a three-headed dragon. Then it went to character creation; I created a character then rolled names until I found one I liked. Name taken. Kept rolling until another name. It took, and then said something about successfully pre-registering a character. Literally no way to play the game, it just forces you back to the login page which takes you to the character creation again and again.

Fix the game 🤷🏻‍♂️

Amazing game similar to Dungeons & Dragons

This is an amazing who never tried Dungeons & Dragons and the graphics and gameplay is incredible. Wow!!! I am amazed. Maybe the game is made from UE 5 and is very shiny polished graphics work. As a game designer/developer working and learning Unreal Engine 5.2.1 and 5.3.0 this is amazing great fantasy MRPG (massive role playing game). 。◕‿◕。😄

By

Excited

I've been noticing a lot of YouTubers recommending this game lately, and it looks like a lot of fun. The visuals are in line with my preferences, so I've already downloaded it and eagerly await the official launch. I can't wait to be one of the first to dive into the game and experience it firsthand.

Great Storyline and Gaming

You work your way through quests and the battles are actually fun and not mindlessly boring compared to some other games. You play to reach a goal and level as you go. You don’t have to spend money to play the game and be strong. I LOVE THIS GAME!!!

By

So far the game is breathtaking and far beyond expectations for a mobile game

So far the game is breathtaking and far beyond expectations for a mobile game. The game is exciting and fun and does not feel like a grind when similar games are mundane in comparison. What an accomplishment!

Pure Excellence

This is an actual game. I’m surprised it’s f2p. Deserves 5 star rating. I’ve been playing all day and have no complaints. I’ve read the 1 star reviews, and I don’t understand how you can rate this masterpiece less then a 5?

By

Review

I’ve been playing this game since it was available and so far I can’t complain it’s got a good story line thus far the characters I’ve seen are cool. I’m excited to see what else lies ahead

By

Sad

I was waiting for this game to come out for a while, and when I finally downloaded it, to my sadness I was only able to pick female for human. I didn’t like the other choices (Dwarves, Half Elves, DragonFolk) but as a man I really wanted to use a male human character since the whole point of playing RPG games is to pretend you’re in it, I couldn’t do that anymore. I ended up deleting it before I even began playing it. Hope they fix this in the future

By

“Great aventure”

Like the story line so far, graphics are amazing, and being so I such I could zoom into the play a bit more, and perhaps be able to rotate view…
But the game it’s excellent!

By

hope it will be a lot of fun

As a longtime DND enthusiast, I've been following this game for quite some time now. Its advertisements have been a regular presence, and it aligns perfectly with the style and theme I enjoy. I'm eagerly awaiting its official release.

By

Best mobile in a while

This game has so much depth. The story, the cut scenes, the characters the combat and everything really draws one into the world they have created. Even the sound score of the game is good. I really like pretty much all aspects of the game even though I am still in the very beginning I would say they have truly created a masterpiece and it shows the time and care that went into making this. My only hope is that it doesn’t hit a paywall at any point I’m honestly more inclined to put money towards a game that doesn’t force me to pay but rather gives me the option to do so based upon how much you enjoy the game and want to add to the experience or aesthetics.

By

AI Voice overs?

First of: I enjoy the gameplay, I really do! Therefore you got my 5 stars. But could it be that for some characters you use some rather bad AI generated voice over?
Lorentheel for example sounds horrible. Emphasis doesn't make any sense, absolutely no breathing sounds, one and the same word pronounced differently in the following (!) sentence and so on.
Jathalea sounded perfectly fine in comparison (and Lorentheel in dialogue with her even worse).
I don't play with my sound on a lot so I can't say anything about other characters. After hearing Lorentheel I'm inclined to keep it off though :-(

By

The downside

The game is great overall. However, acquiring legendary heroes is for the most part locked behind a paywall. While you do get a few free chances through play progression. The fact that the free chances have a 0% chance for a legendary is a glaring mistake. I would be happy with some slight chance over none at all. The cost for the chance of a legendary is ridiculous, while it is not necessary for main story progression. Any type of competition against whales will kill the game. Considering there are certain upgrades that can be received via credit card instead of playing the game. I know this is the new norm in games but it doesn’t have to be this bad. Still love the game overall. Just this system needs some fine tuning for the people who don’t want to be apart of whale wars.

By

Impressive!

As a DND fan, this game aligns perfectly with my preferred theme and style. It's incredibly enjoyable, and the bosses are impressively designed, not to mention their formidable strength. It took me several attempts to defeat them, which added to the thrill. I'm hoping for future updates to bring even more diverse maps and challenging bosses. It's a bit of a disappointment that I haven't been able to draw my favorite hero yet, but that hasn't dampened my enthusiasm for the game.

By

The best!

When I saw the advertisement for this game, I knew it was going to be great, I waited for the day of global play and this game became my favorite. You developers really know what you’re doing, thank you for a great experience and an amazing fun time. My character is “Psalm” realm three, the options to put her together and the graphical image that you guys created is amazing. I’m taking her to this hopefully endless adventure. My last thoughts; AMAZING!

By

Promising and inspired

A turn based gacha RPG with D&D elements. Great concept. Strong execution. However, the gacha elements themselves seem like a annoying distraction. what I mean is, it’s statistically so improbable to pull something good, and so difficult to pull something in the first place, that you’re essentially just using the starter heroes that the game gives you. At this point, what is even the point of having a gacha system other than to distract you and make you feel like you are using crappy heroes?

By

I enjoy the game but..

Story and gameplay are good but should be able to summon more using red dice. Been playing about 10 hours and was only able to get 7 dice even spending some. Others are getting legendary heroes I don’t know how with only a three percent chance. I am not lucky. So having slightly easier access to red dice or legendaries would be nice. Other than that very solid game.

By

Walled Content and the normal pay to win garbage

They lock key content behind level/pay walls and make the grind to upgrade characters unbelievably boring and tedious. I’ve played raid so I understand a grind but this just isn’t amusing. Whales have already blown the PVP experience into the miserable side if you’re not spending stupid amounts of money. The only thing that separates this game is the story/rpg themed “campaign” (if you can call it that). The story is basically the standard for “magical” settings and having your entire experience slowed to a halt due to pathetic bread recharge rates is an embarrassing and unoriginal way to try to squeeze money out of folks.

By

Boulder ‘s Gate Mobile and DND oriented

This game really caught me by surprise and I remember when this game was available for pre-order and I forgot about it but after playing this game for a couple hours… this game is just what I was looking for and wanted.
Thank you game developers and looking forward to more games you produce in the future

Super Fun Game with Beautiful Graphics: Must Play

The cinematic scenes are beautiful and exciting. The battle system is fun and the graphics for mobile gaming are so impressive. I really love the voice acting of all the characters because they help you further delve into the fantasy world. If you love the world of fantasy, then you must play this app.

By

Amazing

Amazing graphics, incredible story line, cinematics, and awesome story telling.. also player customization like strength, dexterity, etc.. No, I don’t work for the company. Been waiting to play this since it came out and can play a few mins to a hr at a time since I’m a busy person..

By

I gave this raid/watchers clone a run. NO

Ok so here we go the game is terrible it’s over complicated for no reason. It’s very heavily time gated. Every encounter is very difficult especially if you don’t have the right teams. Then in the game if you use fire you won’t be able to level them up because you won’t beat the stage. Again due to its difficulty on level two. It’s almost like they ain’t think it through. The purple dice give no legendary units and the orange dice are so rare and sparse it’s impossible to get one and you need at least one early game at the current set difficulty. Like if you knew you was going to have it this difficult why put a cap on the resource grind which makes no sense when you need to get the resource to make your team stronger. Game looks good just all the shady tactics for a game shouldn’t be a thing. Let’s not talk bout how it’s a dice roll feature in game which you will lose 80 percent of the time. Oh yeah and if you do the dungeon or tower mode you will get hard stopped at stage 5 no ifs ands or buts. You will not pass this and upgrade to next tier is non existent. Game gets a two stars. Will revisit in a mont to see if anything changes but I seriously doubt it. If you going to have terrible rates then why not just put everything in the game to be accessible. 80 pulls on one banner with different pity rates smh. Game needs a serious update. Don’t knock who okayed this but they should be fired. Yall had something great till the walls.

All style, no substance

I was wowed by the introduction and graphics, but unfortunately, it really doesn’t respect your time. The game takes the system of games like Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail very blatantly - which, honestly, is fine - but it doesn’t understand why those work. this app walls you from exploring more extremely fast, and the world lacks the amount of sidequests and rewards needed to keep you playing. Speaking of - it’s near impossible to get any fun rewards when in the first 3 - 4 days of playing, I could only get three premium summons…total. That’s 3 minuscule chances at a legendary hero. And, by the way, unlike the games it takes from, it has a PvP system - so this matters to your progression. It’s disappointing, because the story seems good and it’s clearly well made, and having so many heroes on launch is just ripe for experimentation and searching for fun combinations…except without shelling out tons, you can’t get a single one. Also, like other games, it has a “server system”, which is incredibly toxic and feeds into pay to win leaderboard mentality. Unfortunate, wasted potential. What a shame.

An awesome new adventure waiting to unfold!

First of all, this is a gacha game there's no question about that however I would still love for people to experience the story for themselves. The quality of the gameplay, characters, VA’s and world building is incredible and so far the combat in this game is the main aspect that has gotten me to keep playing despite some questionable in game choices. This game has a few flaws, for example the overwhelming amount of unnecessary currencies in the game and the outdated mobile game mechanics in some areas that are designed to gate keep progress. Even though it has these flaws I still find the game enjoyable and worth playing, hopefully I can progress farther and see if it is worth expending some amount of money in the game. Thanks for reading and God bless you.

Dragon Heir Gods of progress walls.

The game is fun and has I treating concept and world map but will hard wall you at every corner. Can’t advance the main story till you reach a new adventure level, but you can only increase adventure level by doing the 2 daily quests. Not high enough level heroes to beat that boss? Well you can do the XP a couple times then your stamina is empty and it takes 24 HOURS to fully refill. Trying to beat that world boss that is way higher level then anything you can reach? Well you guessed it you have to do a daily quest 4 days in a row to make beating it even possible. That’s my biggest complaint and that’s not even getting into the god awful drop rates. 100 purple dice draws I got about 5 epics 50 red dice draws 1 legendary so don’t ever expect to progress by getting better heros. Game has a lot of potential but needs major changes.

By

Level Progression is a Problem

Overall I really enjoy 90% of things about this game, only have 2 major complaints.

1. Legendary hero’s don’t drop, idk how many countless dice I’ve used but still haven’t gotten one. What makes this worse is I did pay a little and still no results, which is frustrating to spend money and still not get one, not a great model for return business.

2. The only way to progress through the map is by advancing your Traveler Level. Problem is, the only thing that significantly impacts that goal is 2 daily quests. You CAN also progress by “chapter quests” but those chapter quests you can’t even do until you advance your traveler level to get to that part of the map so it doesn’t actually help.

I’d be happy to spend more money on this game and spend a couple hours a day playing at work but I can’t because the level block won’t allow it. I log in, do the two daily quests, progress through the small portion of the map I can in about 10 minutes, then I spend another 10 expending the small amount of stamina that I get then have to wait 24 hours to do anything else.

Been waiting for a game like this!

I have downloaded and offloaded hundreds of games in the past. Mostly for not being original and definitely for chasing after your cash. Paying to win does not make a game fun to play….it just becomes a cash sink. I will spend money but have not yet.
The game play is unique, very DnD esk which I love. The story and NPC creation is the best I’ve seen in years and the camp feature is just plain fun.
I am a solo player and can’t always be “online” with other games guild requirements so not being forced to join a guild is fantastic. And posting in chat to share for a group event is brilliant. I’ve not been disappointed.
The one thing I am a little uneasy about is the lack of l useful characters when rolling for a legendary…..they are few and far between.
Perhaps that’s where the pay comes in? I sure hope not.
In any case, I would recommend this game to anyone who wants something Fantasy based, immersive and plain fun.

Perfect DND-like Experience on Mobile!

I love DND, but haven’t had a chance to gather with friends for a session in months, and while I’m enjoying Baldur’s Gate 3, I don’t always have to my PC. this app has so far been the perfect way to get my DND fix on mobile. Literally, it plays like DND with its dice based mechanics, its dark yet witty tone, and battle mechanics. Initially was surprised by the turn based combat, but it’s actually pretty fun, and so far haven’t hit any pay walls. A very enjoyable fantasy RPG experience that I won’t be putting down for a while!

By

Highly pay to win gacha

First, I can’t understand how this game has so many high reviews. Only 1-2 hours into the game it is apparent that only money will get you characters worth anything. I have put over 20 hours into the game and have not found it to be worth the time investment. Does not feel rewarding especially when all the ‘free’ summoning chances you get have a 0% chance to drop anything. Also having two summoning pools to even pull a legendary at all is ridiculous. There are 3 summoning pools if you count the banner which would make the pools as such: epic, legendary, banner. I understand the same currency works for the banner and the legendary but no reason that the normal gacha cannot pull a legendary. To play this game you must first - pull out your wallet.

By

The tutorial was a bit boring. But then it gets good.

I almost stopped playing a few minutes in. It didn’t seem like enough D&D aspects for me. But, I was wrong. Keep playing. Give if a few hours of your time and it’ll surely be worth it. So far no money spent but it I continue to enjoy it I might buy something to support the game and enhance my experience. I don’t feel like there is a pay wall or pay to win aspect of the game yet.

By

Curious

The game is actually not bad. Looks pretty fantastic and the action is simple enough. I would rated higher, but I really wanna know why your characters don’t have diversity. What I mean is why is it that for humans you can only pick a female, which seems the same for the lizard folk. It seems like this game is really lacking in options when it comes to designing your character.

if anyone of the developers is willing to actually respond, and not just give me some standard response that they give to everybody, I would actually entertain raising my rate to four or five stars

By

Fantastic game

This is a great game. Best game I’ve played in a while. Legendary hero summons is a bit wonky, I run one account on my phone and one on my iPad, one account has 4 legendaries, the other has none. I still love playing both accounts though as I have some great epic characters. I won’t be able to keep up with the whales no matter how many legendary I have anyway. It’s fun as can be and that’s why I play. Five stars for sure.

By

Fumbled the bag

This game could have been fun but progression is not existent, the dice system is so poorly done and not accurate at all. You WILL fail 90% of the time. It’s just not fun for entire events to just be closed off based on a rigged dice roll. The game is a slog.

Characters are nearly impossible to obtain aside from getting some epics and rares which are decent but to get legendaries there is absolutely no way unless you pay. So whales will dominate every aspect of the game typical of gacha games.

The main reason i’m uninstalling though is the game is just not fun. Progression just isn’t fun there’s no customization to builds, no cool gear to obtain you just do a side quest get some exp and rinse and repeat. It’s just boring.

By

Only One Minor Issue

I don’t typically write reviews but I just started this game a couple days ago and I love it already. I’m really into not just the immersive story and play, but I really like that I’m not being forced to enter a guild or other group which requires international coordination in order to just be able to play the game. My one criticism so far and I admit that it’s a hella really one, is I wish that you weren’t pigeonholed into being a certain gender based off the initial character you picking. There should be a way to toggle gender on any of the selections given that there’s only four main character types even though there’s many races represented in game. That’s genuinely my only issue and I acknowledge it’s hella nitpicky at that

By

Don’t bother.

This game is a joke. Unless you have countless hours to fight the same dungeons over and over to get what you need to upgrade gear, level, or just get strong enough to move on in the story, it’s not worth it. Example, to forge lvl 3 gear, you have to fight a monster with a higher lvl and power then you are unless you do the exp dungeon over and over and over to possibly beat him and fight him over and over because the reward’s given are only a couple when you need 30-50. And the dice roll for summoning hero’s is rigged. Out of about 30 rolls I never got higher then a common hero, so definitely not random rolls. Would be great if they would make it fair.

Women like video games too

Didn’t make it far… The character creation is as far as I got before I felt the need to write a review. It’s 2023, A LOT more women like video games, including me & I feel it is necessary to be inclusive when there are character options. As simple as being able to change the orientation of each class.. I’m a girl so my only option is to play as a human? No. That’s not far. Also the choices for customizing were limited all together which is fine as it is a mobile game but still the options for the singular female role were even MORE limited. It’s just very obvious that a man controlled the decision while making this game. Please, if you are going to continue developing games, be inclusive & try to remember that the women in this community are just as valuable as men. Thanks. I will continue the game but it’s definitely frustrating that women get such limited options if they want to play a female protagonist.

A truly great game

I recently started playing this game, and unlike so many others I have tried, I have found it to be, not just good, but actually great.
From the outstanding graphics, top notch voice acting, and engaging story, to the massive roster of interesting and unique characters, each with their own special traits and abilities, and back again, to the cleverly innovative ways of evoking the feel of playing classic D&D/AD&D, the creators of this game paid attention to every detail, large and small, to create a fantasy gaming experience that is second to none.
I don’t know if the developers of this game have other titles of similar quality, but I intend to find out, and suspect that many others will do the same. In the meantime, I will be playing this one, whenever I can.

By

You need to download Facebook lol

Don’t forget to download Facebook first otherwise your shares don’t work. Other than that it’s a pretty solid game rn. Just spent a few hours so doing this for some items but honestly the quality of the graphics and the play through is pretty good for a solo game atm. Not up to adding people and all that yet but will update later.

Dear devs. Please make sure you have a sign that says DOWNLOAD FACEBOOK TO GET YOUR SHARES TO WORK. Jesus. “Oh next time please download Facebook for a proper experience” no where does it say I need to download so I can share in the first place -.-

Sorry just a mini vent and rant. Glad I checked the support bot before I kept playing because I don’t think I woulda got any other hero shares thinking it was a network issue -.- idk how many other people have had this issue either.

Early game play is crucial for these kinda games. Okay vent over lol

5 stars, but…

This game is really amazing, however the drop rate for epics and legendaries especially seem really bad. You already don’t get a lot of legendary summon possibilities, even when you do spend money. So to have a low low chance on top of not many chances makes the summoning very disappointing and almost disheartening to play. There are plenty of people that seem to get legendaries, but I guess I’m unlucky. I also hate that the guaranteed summon is reset every month. Why do u have to do 100 legendary summons a month to be guaranteed 1, whenever I barely get 10-15 possible summons? I didn’t want to write this in a review, but couldn’t find a feedback button. I’ve spent $40 so far and like the battle pass, but I am feeling discouraged to try.

First Couple Hours Review

Hey! I don’t usually review games, but this one’s really interesting. It’s mechanics are unique and hold some dnd-esc aspects to them! I’m rather surprised it’s F2P, the quality of the graphics and voice acting are very good. The plot, the storyline is very interesting.

The combat isn’t what I would usually prefer, but everything else keeps me playing. It is true that legendary heroes are very, very, very difficult to get for anyone playing purely F2P. But not impossible. It’ll simply take a lot of patience and a looooot of rng.

I’m hoping they won’t be necessary to become powerful enough to progress the game, but I’ve yet to play enough to know. Enjoying it so far! <3

Great game but it keeps crashing

Awesome game but it keeps crashing on my cell phone because it takes up 7G! My desk top which is a mac won’t play it and now I can’t update the game because the file is huge. You guys need to fix this some how or I’ll have to delete it. I love the game it’s amazing but If I can’t update my phone and the game keeps crashing then it doesn’t matter how good the game is. I’ve already offloaded all my apps or deleted them to make space and still can’t update the game. I’ve got 2-3 free gigs and that’s still not enough to just up date it.

Refreshing

Been playing this game in the background while at work and I have to say, I love nearly everything about it. The characters are unique and well animated, the voice acting is better than you’d imagine for a mobile game, there are enough daily’s to make your head spin, and so my only qualm would be that the character customization is a bit limited, as are the race options. This isn’t enough to make me stop playing, and if I didn’t just drop $200 on Christmas gifts for my husband, I’d spend $ on this game like no one’s business.

By

Everything I could want in a game.

I’ve been playing this game for 4 days now. I have finally reached a point to where it has slowed down. I’m currently having to concentrate on leveling up certain heroes. But there is always a story line. I got to hang out with Drizzt Do’Urden and fight Erdu with him. There are treasures to find. There is a lot of autonomy in the game. There are alliances, but I haven’t felt pressured to join one yet. Alliances have turned fun games into chores for me. As of right now, this games has ruined me for other games. I really really love it.

Those that didn’t know the game rest don’t waste your time and money.

Big fan of RPG, however, really don’t have time to play 24/7. So not knowing the game resets, I have spent time collecting stamina and food stam. Which I used by spending real money only to find out that you lose it all. I was going to use it on a rainy day to just bing on the game. Not only that most of the thing resets, and you lose your armor you worked hard on. This game is definitely not for players that play a few hours a day or week. I feel like I wasted a lot of money on the game only to find out you lose particularly everything you work so hard for, with that said, if I would have know this I would not have wasted my time saving and spending real money. What a big disappointment. This seems like a big scam. Once again don’t waste your time. If they remove the reset and you don’t lose everything then they game would have gotten a better rating. If I would have know about the reset I would have save a lot of money and most likely would have have not played this game or downloaded it. Big scam on your players, you should be ashamed of yourself for stealing from your customers.

Frankly I would go with 4.5 stars because the game isn’t perfect.

There are nuisances that could be improved and the free to play and I’m gonna drop 10,000$ on a mobile game could be more balanced but there’s a reason it isn’t. The game can only exist if it brings in a profit.
So far season 1 game play has been good I’m not the top of my server and have spent money on the game but I am a fan of the fact that spending money doesn’t promise you will be able to beat people who do not, the rare and epic hero’s are well balanced vs the legendary hero’s for the most part and the gameplay remains challenging. Not being able to skip when using the auto play tickets in dungeons is mildly frustrating but other than that I have enjoyed the last few months of playing this app.

Mind my sentence composition I went on a rant instead of leaving a proper review.

Could have been the best game, but…

This is my very first review of any game. I really want this game to succeed but there are things to work on. Beautiful Graphics do not solve problems.

Status: Played since launch, level 100 heroes, 50 level journey and about to finish the final boss.

1- Game becomes really boring after couple of weeks, same tasks everyday. It feels more like a farming game nowadays.

2- I use Wyrmarrows to get Heliolite Dices every day but drop rate is extremely poor. I am now confident that i will never ever make the team i want. İ am not 100% free rider and i pay 15$ for Walker.. so even that does not bring you any Legendaries. And the Horn… that is rigged for sure.

3- I wonder why there is a merchant shop in camp as there is nothing interesting for sale after level 30? Why have that?

4- The gear forging literally pisses me off as it is dice based again, so you need to farm Graves of all sorts day in day out until you get a chestplate with % main stat. That is a big waste of time. You guys need to give away more auto raid tickets… free..

5- After trying out several heroes, i have realized that there are only a few hero synergies. Maybe among legendary heroes but those are impossible to get even you pay 15$ a month. You do not think people pay blindly 99$ to get 16 rolls right which can result Rare draws only.

Finally this game is out since months and it is still No:31 in RPG (i quite like to check Dragonheir store rating). Thats a tell…

Just as Good as a ‘Triple A’ Title Game!

I never write reviews, so that alone is impressive for my love of this game.

In the first 3 hours of gameplay, I literally couldn’t put down my device because it was that addicting/perfect. When I first played it, I was immediately impressed with the graphics and gameplay. I’ve played a LOT of RPG games on my mobile devices, yet none compare to this one! I was absolutely blown away by the incredible amount of lore, details, attributes, combat, and even the dialogue! Plus, I love the D&D feel to it with the skill-checks and dice rolls.

It honestly reminds me of PC RPG games I’ve played, like Divinity Original Sin 2. In fact, this game looks/feels similar to Baldur’s Gate 3 (purely based off of gameplay videos I’ve watched). Nonetheless, I am utterly blown away by the talent, passion, and creativity that went into making this fantastic game!!! It deserves to be played on a console or a PC, it’s that good!! The different races, animals, heroes, environments, items, music, buildings, enemies, etc. are spot-on. I literately couldn’t have asked for a better mobile game! I HIGHLY recommend this game!!

TLDR: download this game, you won’t regret it. If you love RPG games with fantasy elements, mystery, exploration, crafting, fighting, and puzzles, then this is your game. It won’t disappoint!

Legendaries aren’t everything

I read a few of the low rated reviews of this game and most of them complain a lot about not getting enough legendary characters and then they complain that the game is too hard without legendaries.

In most games that would be a huge downfall because all of the rare and epic heroes in those games are worthless and are just there as placeholders until you get legendaries.

It really isn’t in this one. If you actually think about the encounters and position your team well and time their skills at the right time, you only need rare heroes to do 90% of this game. The exception to this would be the pvp.

That’s one of the things I love about this game. You actually have to think.

It’s not just-get legendaries, (which are usually just handed to you), turn off brain, cruise through the “storyline”, start farming incessantly.

The rare and epic heroes are useful if you think about how the battles go and how you need to set up your teams and when you need to use your skills. First game in a long time that actually made me think about the skills and how to game. Great job developers!

Good game, not perfect, but playable.

F2p, I run a guild (alliance) on a server. The game claims to be social MMORPG... there's very little social. You can't even play with your friends unless you start at the same time on the same server the same day, because the games new a new server appears (and will likely be abandoned) about 2 weeks later as people go inactive. That's the biggest problem here.

Besides that, its a Raid Shadow Legends like experience, with repeating seasons that reset and purport to have you just re-grind the same story over and over to re-level your characters but keep some of your stats and gear that survive the "cycle". I mean, its a grinder with a decent facelift.

That being said, I do enjoy it - just - work on your social aspects... This game shouldn't have launched if I can't be certain I'll play with my friends.

Found at last , the search is over thanks be to God!

For years I’ve scoured for mobile games on iPhone. Something not only entertaining with building mechanics on character progression but good story line. I have continued to be let down time and time again. Many games come close but none executed the complete package I’ve been looking for. “Heroes of the lost Ark the Holy grail has been found” my search is at an end. I’ve found that of which I’ve sought for so long here in this game this experience this adventure. A Gem thee Gold nugget amongst so much dust. I now happily say to my quest for finding the complete gaming experience. . . Consider it done!

Amazing game!

I seldom give a game review but this game is so amazing. I cannot imagine that a mobile game can designed as good as a PC game. It has fantastic and long enough story line. All the heroes are unique and have their own story. In the world map you not only can follow the main request but also there are a lot of side requests, dungeons, Arena fights, and puzzle games. You can pick food materials and cook in the camp. Try different material combinations and discovering the food recipes brings me a lot of fun as well.
Meanwhile, I like this game is because even though I didn’t pay any money on it, I still can enjoy the game pretty well. It seems that legend hero is very hard to get if you didn’t buy the packages, but some rare and epic heroes are very good choices to defeat the boss or do the PVP. The key is set a good team that heroes can collaborate well with each other and farm the dungeons to get good equipments. You need to have several teams by facing different bosses.
All in all I like this game very much and willing to play and pay for this game. :)

So far so good

The game is beautiful, the story so far is your typical D&D epic adventure. So I’m just gonna cut to the chase.. i can only speak for myself but my favorite part of these games is collecting the characters. As long as their is a way for me to collect the players I want be it money or grinding it out then I can see myself playing this for a very long time. I’m not some whale in these games but I have no problem dropping 40-50 bucks now and again to support and enjoy the game as well as getting the characters I want. That said if this turns out to be like Genshin or Honkai Star Rail in turns of character collection then I won’t be playing long.. As of right now this current model is 50 bucks for 10 premium pulls…. I quit playing Honkai due to 2 consecutive 100 dollar drops without getting the character.. it’s just my opinion but to me that’s just silly.. I’d still be playing those guys spending money right now if collecting was easier.. so hopefully this one won’t turn out like that. That said, definitely give this one chance. I’ll update again in the future. Good luck out there!

Cool Game.

I would have really preferred to make my character a male Lizardfolk, but the Dwarf is fine. It's decent journeying, with fun navigation and interesting world interactions. The voiced dialogue really keeps the story engaging and provides social context. These types of real-time auto-battlers seem to get better with every other game I try, adding more complex positionings and with this game a drag-and-drop ultimate system. Good artwork, music and sounds, and also hub setting being a camp feels some kind of right. As is typical with hero-training games, I'm always going to keep wanting to go rather slow through the game, and find my perfect team that I identify with. I'm also going to want to strike preference of grind spot within the world and story, and prefer to use lesser-rarity/starter characters to their fullest combat usefulness. It just feels natural to start with more simple characters, and eventually grow at my own pace into using more advanced skills and artifacts.

Has promise but…frustrating

To start it is mostly pay to play to get high level gear and characters. Not to mention you do not really get to customize your character IE:half elf only male allowed to be played. And finally when season one ended , there was no update anywhere that I could find that said that all your stats would revert to level one and you would lose your gear as well. Season two has mostly been spent trying to get everyone back to cap as well as the gear. And no compensation for it This game had so much potential . Edit. :
I’ve deleted the game, I rather play a game that will keep feeling fun. It has not been fun trying to grind to get gear back or re explore areas. Games are supposed to stay fun and enjoyable. The reset made the game less enjoyable. So to recap : gender lock,
Pay to play , level and gear reset with no heads up or reason why , and time trying to regain what was lost. Not fun and not cool and definitely very disappointing

Needs work

Game is fun but leveling is boring needing a variety of hero’s is great building different teams for different boss’ but in order to level you grind and it’s boring different activities to gain levels would help. Gatcha is gatcha so without spending money you get mostly rare characters. Stories are fun, questing is fun but needs some work as a team of 70s have a hard time against level 45 enemies, and you hit walls of needing your hero’s higher levels so you grind boring minigame ….

Many many hours in game is fun but needs A Lot of work even after hitting 100 and getting gear the next level gear is locked legendary hero drop rate is the worst of any gotcha game I’ve played even if you spend the money you won’t get the hero’s. I really like this game just disappointing and still only one good way to get characters leveled up get ready to sit in goblin lairs as all fights offer 200xp when you need 4 million 🙄. Has a lot of potential to be very fun game. Also pvp is stupid get ready to face the same team 1000x over and over

Fun game with fake ads and not fun gambling

I’ve been playing nonstop everyday for the past month or so. The character designs are really cool and I’m glad I gave it a try. The problem is they recycle characters, backgrounds, and quests and the level system is broken. You can be a level 90 and lose to a level 50. Regardless of taking stats and combos into account, it’s still kind of lame. You work really hard to grind and level and it doesn’t really pay off.

Again it was a really fun and engaging game but it gets the point where you can’t really do much until you spend money. The nail in coffin for me is that I’ve spent over $100 on the game and you rarely get anything out of it. The legendary dice rolls are insane. I spend so much money only to get 0 legendaries. I’ve also been seeing advertisements for this game lately and they bait you with fake gameplay or shows ads with girls showing their butts. I’m not sure how that’s even legal.

Really good, but…

This game is totally fun and awesome. Perhaps even the best gaming mobile experience I’ve ever had. That being said , I would give it 5 stars , but…

I’ve been playing pretty much since it came out, and love challenges. I’ve logged in well over 100 days in a row . The new season is great fun , except here’s where you are losing me.

I’ve literally hit a brick wall of advancement, which maybe in a few days I’ll get past. But I got to say this new double buff for the monsters is insane. When you can’t advance past level 90 til you hit journey level 27, but have to fight monsters that level are 110 and have two buffs that make make them practically invincible to get experience to get to level 27. Well in my opinion, that’s just crazy.
So in essence I feel like once you get to a certain point there’s nothing you can do but wait two or three days just to get commissions cause you’ve already done everything else you can. It just makes you feel like you are be held back unnecessarily from advancement. That’s my gripe for an otherwise awesome gaming experience.
I’ve written a review for any other game or product in my life, but I’d to say something. So that’s why you 4 stars instead of five. Perhaps I’m selfish here , but come on man!

Fun. NO ADS. But hard to get to highest levels

Finally got to lvl 95+ characters. grinding in the frost and fire temples. still trying to expand map. There are purchases but they will not suddenly make you top dog in the world. You still have to grind out like everyone else. The early parts of the current season are fun but once you’ve done most of the quests the final ones to move to another part of the map are very hard. Grinding up to almost 5 characters at the 100 max level is hard. And you run out of resources so you either wait or get tempted to buy. But, if you buy remember that this game clears out everything when a new season starts. So all your 100 plus characters start over, but with the gears and stuff. The epic and legendary characters require you to buy special dice. You can earn it but it is a long long time to do that. And if you get one you start it from level one and work it up. So at some point you just have to put the game to rest and come back when you get bored with other games to see what else you might have to do.

Good enough, but has fundamental issues

The few good things I have to say about this game are that the graphics are great, the characters are enjoyable to use, the character lore is good, and there is plenty of information readily available in-game to explain things you don’t understand. I gave three stars because although I don’t enjoy it, I can see there has been a lot of effort invested into this game. However, the game has issues that negatively affect the experience too much to ignore. I am not a fan of games that give you multiple options, be it dialogue options or ways to complete a quest, only to reveal to you after you choose an option, some justification as to why your decision was wrong using information you could not have known beforehand. I’ve only been playing the game for a few days and I’m already bored of listening to and reading dialogue for 30 minutes only to be able to engage in a 15 second battle. I am confused about what this game is supposed to be. Most of the game is listening to and reading dialogue. Is this an audio novel or a mobile game? There’s too much listening and reading dialogue to satisfy people that want to play the game, and there’s too much gameplay for people who want to listen to and read a story. I suppose if you land somewhere in between wanting to have an interactive gaming experience, and wanting to listen to an audio novel, you might like this game. Regardless, I would not set your expectations too high.

Decent D&D style game, but...

Loving the game so far and does well to honor a D&D narrative and game mechanism. It reminds me of playing a traditional game set around a table with my best buds. However! My only gripe with this game is just how inconsistent the voice actors are regarding the pronunciation of certain names or places. If it were one thing to fix about this game... It would be to get a better ADR director and make sure each voice actor is not bastardizing lines. In addition... Get a better narrator/Dungeon Master actor. Every time I have to listen to his narration of what is happening along a quest, I lose interest because he sounds so boring! In my experience playing D&D it was just as important to have a Dungeon Master who narrated with enthusiasm because it's their duty to set the mood for the adventure... Not sound drab and monotone. 4/5 stars... Improve the voice narrations and I think this game will have earned the fifth!

This game is awesome

I hardly ever do these little reviews, but for this game I had to! If you love rpgs, character customization, and exploring open worlds this is the game for you. It’s very f2p friendly, meaning you won’t have to spend a dime to get the good characters and stuff. But not only that, the graphics are good, the music is good, the overall environment is great as well. I would absolutely love to play this game on a console such as the ps5..I could just imagine the graphics for this game. It’s giving heavy Dragon’s Dogma vibes mixed with a Baldur’s Gate 3 kind of vibe..now, obviously the combat isn’t going to be that great because it’s a mobile game but it’s a great game for a mobile game and is outclassing others of its genre that’s on mobile. I hope you give it a shot. Wanna say thank you to the dev’s for fully voicing the characters as well. I hate when I play a game and the characters can’t talk..it takes the immersion away from the game. I’ll give this game a 4/5.
