The logging in is way too stupid and dumb. I can’t even login because it says to enter my credentials and that’s way too personal and much… and my PS IP. That is way too personal. If y’all made it me put in my account name and have my internet on the same one with my PS4 then I’m never using it. It’s too personal and I can’t login. I was exited to use it to test out the lag but y’all lost a new customer. You all need to make it work and get it fixed so I can come back and see if it works. I’m going to go back and use the original ps remote play and not worry about this one. I spent my whole frickin day worrying about PXPlay. Y’all need to understand me and update PXPlay. I don’t like it.

I personally wish that I could do features like changing the button mapping or layout of the controller without having to pay six dollars for the pro features. I think it’s ridiculous that if I want to change the button mapping, which for me is uncomfortable because when I’m trying to use the left joystick, I end up using the deep pad instead, so I think it’s not great that I have to pay to change the button layout

PXPlay is awesome on my iPad ad Apple TV. I would give it 5 stars, but when trying to connect toy PS5 with my iPhone on the latest OS Version, PXPlay freezes when trying to open the web page to link my Sony account, so I can only use it on 2/3 of my devices.

PXPlay is wayyyyyy better than the original remote play app! It works great on my Iphone 13 ProMax. Im able to get a quick gaming session in before bed. Feels like I’m playing on my PS5. It’s worth the $6 (pro features). The Dev is very active on Reddit. Any questions or concerns, he’s there to provide you with assistance. Please keep up the good work bro!!!

I’ve been using PXPlay to play my PS4 on my Vision Pro and it’s been quite a positive experience. It even offers better controls such as bitrate settings then the official PS remote play app on PC.

I wish the developer would create a Vision Pro native version so that the aspect ratio would be native to the content.

The developer has done an amazing job here, and the only thing I did quicker than download PXPlay was get the pro version. I use this with a gamepad, and the amount of tweaking you can do with your streaming settings and button mappings really make this heads and shoulders above the official app.

I have a Backbone and originally was using the official PS app to remote game. It was barely possible between lag that destroyed gameplay or blurred visuals so bad you could barely see anything. Then I discovered PXPlay, and it has worked perfectly. No lag, no disconnects and easy setup. Highly recommended!

First of all, PXPlay is better than PlayStation remote play, when I was using PlayStation remote play it would glitch and disconnect every five seconds but I had no issues with PXPlay.

Second of all, I highly recommend PXPlay if you want to play on your PlayStation from anywhere

I feel like Sonys app works well enough but PXPlay is at a different level. The latency is even lower compared to Sonys official app. I don’t know how one person did it over a major company but it’s easily worth the premium price. On top of that, the dev is clearly passionate about his product and will help you troubleshoot issues on the PsPlay subreddit.

I can’t for the life of me remember how I came across PXPlay yesterday, but I’m glad I did. I’ve got my PS5 hooked up to the living room TV, but sometimes I just want to lay in bed. As you all know, Sony doesn’t have the PS Remote Play app available on the Apple TV box, but this dev is making dreams come true. I don’t think I need any of the Pro functions, but I paid for the upgrade anyways. Cheers!

It took me about 10 minutes to set up and now I can play full on games from my PlayStation on my Apple Vision Pro. This is a game changer because I spend most of my free time watching my friends play games on SharePlay. It also works really really well when I want to play. I thought I was gonna be much more laggy than it is but it works pretty well.

This developer, and application, continues to amaze me in just how superior it is to the official Sony remote play app. I’ve been using PSPlay on my Logitech G Cloud for some time now for my ps5 (which is why I bought the G Cloud in the first place) and always have been impressed. I’ve tested it on the Nvidia shield (both Pro and Tube) and still works amazing (well, not really on the tube, but I think that’s the devices issue, not the program, it works but crashes the device after about 10 minutes, probably due to lack of RAM or something). The new MirrorPlay app that was just realized for IOS, MacOS , and iPadOS is equally amazing (definitely buy the pro version of PXPlay , it’s worth it). Tested on my iPhone 14 Pro, iPad Air M1, and MacBook Pro with the M1 Pro chip, and works flawlessly. All we need now is a version for the Steam Deck! Sure, we have Chiaki, but it no where near compares to ease of use and reliability of PSPlay/MirrorPlay. Here’s to hoping that’s next!

So far it plays noticeably better than the PS Remote play app, even at a higher resolution.

The $6 was well worth it after I was able to map the “…” button on my Backbone controller to be a touchpad press. It makes no sense that Backbone doesn’t allow you to map that button and forces you to have two screenshot buttons instead, so this solved one of my biggest gripes with that controller as well as fixes the remote play experience with PS5.

I never write reviews for apps but I am so impressed with this 3rd party app. Like others have said, it’s an improvement on the official app. The touchpad functionality is way more responsive and the latency seems to be better. I HIGHLY recommend paying the $6 to unlock the Pro version. The added vibration and motion functionality makes my Backbone that much more useful. I’ve only been using it for half an hour and am very excited to have this.

Florian, don’t take the silly reviews that don’t know what they’re talking about seriously - you’ve done a great job with PXPlay, and for every person who is confused and thinks the issues are because of your work there are one hundred more people who know that what you’ve done here is nothing short of legendary!

As always, appreciate your work on these projects. PXPlay runs fantastic and I appreciate the extra work put in to make it polished, sleek, and profession! Love it!

It is honestly shocking how well PXPlay works, it sounds like an exaggeration but it’s not. I have really tried to like the official app and it just wasn’t working well enough for me, so I had given up on ps5 streaming. Then I find PXPlay when I was looking into pc streaming and the difference is actually crazy. If Sony really wants PS5 streaming to be a thing (and clearly they do with the PS Portal out) they would be smart to throw mad money at this person to lock them down and work this magic on the official apps. I’m literally so happy I can play my PS5 while my daughter plays in her playpen!!

This is probably the first time I’ve ever written a review for an app. I almost had given up on Remote Play with my PS. I have decent upload and download speeds on both ends but for some reason still experienced horrible connections. It made no sense I was experiencing this. After some digging, I came across PXPlay and I’m so glad I did! After configuring my router, I can now experience Remote Play as it should be experienced! Thank you so much for developing PXPlay!! A HUGE PLUS that PXPlay takes advantage of the whole screen on my phone!!! It drove me absolutely CRAZY when the official didn’t have this option.

Honestly PXPlay kills Sony’s. The only barrier to entry is to get full access to what PXPlay can do, you need to pay $6. But $6 is so worth it. There’s so many settings to tweak compared to the official app AND it works better. Seriously. I’ve been using the apps local connect option to play my ps5 from my bed or another room and it plays so well, I honest to god can’t tell its streaming. I’ve played fighting games ONLINE without noticeable latency issues, that’s how good PXPlay is. Seriously if you are having issues with the official app or want a smoother remote play option, support PXPlay. You can try it out for free, but spend the $6 to get all the options if it’s your fancy - 100% worth it.

Never left a review on anything before. Felt this was a must. Been using PXPlay for a couple weeks. Remote gaming from work for even longer. This is the best experience I have with mobile gaming. And keep in mind, while I’m at work I do not have the best connection. But it has worked at phenomenal resolution. With a few adjustments to settings, it runs as close to flawlessly as you could hope for when I’m 25 miles from my ps5. It’s amazing. With the other apps I always knew it was my phone because of performance issues. However, I forget I’m on my phone and I just game with PXPlay. Support is great. Have a question? I particularly like that I can lock the resolution to 1080p and avoid PXPlay switching to a lower resolution when there are transient connection issues.

Would really like to see an option for “no scaling” in addition to “stretched“ and “zoomed.” Sometimes 1:1 pixel mapping is just better.
