Got ChargeUP because a charging station told me to get an app called this app. This is not it. ChargeUP I needed was this app Driver. Wasted $3 on ChargeUP which I will be asking to be refunded.
Pretty annoyed that there’s an app that’s so similarly named to what charging stations need you to use that I wasted time and money getting it.
ChargeUP copied the name of a different app that was supposed to be used for starting the charger. Do not buy ChargeUP its only use is to find chargers which is built in on most EV’s. Wasted money on a subscription that didn’t even help
Paid $4.99 on this scam-like app but the correct app was of a different name. They should take this off ChargeUP Store or change the name. Terrible.

Duke Energy charger at the Florida Turkey Lane station directs the users to download this app app - Apple app has 2 this app apps: this one with the blue lighting symbol in blue circle (stay away from it) and the correct one with green lighting symbol in white circle, this app Driver. So easy to download the wrong app when standing in full sun under 100 degree temp with major summer storm fast approaching. After getting frustrated with ChargeUP that doesn’t work and downloading the correct one, you find out that this scam app has enrolled you in a pay membership and you need to cancel it to avoid a $19.95 auto charge on card entered when setting up this scam by mistake. Reporting it - If you have been scammed, report too.
