Terrible choices…

NO APP SHOULD EVER REQUIRE YOU TO SAVE A PASSWORD!!!

I would rather be prompted to enter my password every single time rather than save it once. Maybe if keys weren’t made unduly difficult to use in Terminal…

I’m saying key generation should be built into app. I’m not moving a key from a secure box to an iPhone.

Fix these 2 things and I would use Terminal. Until then, I consider Terminal as possible spyware/exfiltration.

DO NOT USE

These developers will steal your SSH credentials and remotely access your machines! After using Terminal I saw putty SSH traffic to random IPs in Asian countries — I had to have my ISP change my public IP and switched to key-based authentication because they stole my login.

DO NOT USE Terminal

Only work a few times, then it doesn’t

First few times it works, then it just hangs.

Esc keyboard not supported

next support?

Somewhat useful

Terminal will connect you to an SSH server and let you type in commands but the keyboard has no ESC key, making it useless for many purposes, such as full screen editing of files using things like vi.

Great… but

When in an editor such as nano, when saving edits, I’m unable to save the file when asked. “Enter” doesn’t work.

The first time it worked but now it’s not letting me go into my server

No

Do not enable FaceID

Or Terminal will never restart, buggy

No Esc key

Works, but there’s no Esc key.

Terminal

The best

好东西,很好用

就是终端里输出的中文只显示了一半,能修复的话最好不过了

Does its job

it’s an shh client. It does ssh, and isn’t painful to use. 5 stars.

One of the best Terminal Apps on the App Store

I’ve been using Terminal for quite sometime and been very satisfied on how it operates! I use it daily to connect to my server back home to edit a couple config files or check out logs. There are so many this app apps on Terminal Store but you have to pay a subscription to have it, which Is a complete joke! this app# doesn’t require a subscription to SSH to your server, that’s why I love Terminal and it’s my go to! I’ve been recommending Terminal to all my friends and a couple of companies who I worked for to get Terminal. I

I would definitely donate a cup of coffee of worth to the creator of Terminal for doing a great job!

Thank you so much!

Does what I need it to

I just needed a way to ssh into my home server, view the status of stuff and run a few commands, and this worked perfectly.

Very good ssh client.

It is very small and fast.
It is very simple.
Is is very fast.
Thanks!

Good job

Thank you

Simply fantastic

This tool is a god-send to me. It makes it an actual pleasure to use an iPad and keyboard for coding on and managing all my headless raspberry pi’s.

I’m a retired unix system engineer and I spent decades using simple ascii terminals so I’m very used to it. I also live off grid in a tiny home without the desk real estate or electrical power to use full sized monitors and gui’s at all hours of the day and night the way I like to do. (not to mention as a developer I really loved CDE on Solaris and despise Gnome on anything) So it’s easy for me to live with a simple this app.

Since 2019 I used a different ssh tool for iPad and it’s limitations were annoying at first and became crippling over time, the fee to remove them was WAY too high for personal use. My experience has left me actually hating that tool and the idiots that market it.

THIS tool otoh seems to have no limitations at all:

- it supports multiple instances via split-screen

- it holds sessions open no matter how long I’m off in a browser doing something else. Only when the iPad auto-lock activates do your sessions get terminated.

- it allows multiple sessions to the same or different systems, switching between them is possibly a little clunky but I just got this so I have to acclimate.

After five years of being stuck with a crippled and crippling tool I am beyond delighted to find this one.

Lit

I can just say thank you. Would become a lot better if it can have two finger zoom enabled on everything.

It works

Does what it says on the tin.

Sencillo y eficiente

Todo está muy sencillo y es seguro rápido y funcional

Perfect interface and features

As a software engineer who develops many different types of projects that require SSH, this is the best option to gain access to devices from the cloud to IoT.

Just works

Wonderful. I am able to do what I need on my servers

Esc/ctrl work

Most of the one star ratings are because Terminal lacked the ability to type special characters. This is no longer an issue.

The required password field is strange though.

Awesomeness 🤩

Glad you made this for easy this app access!
