Just wanted to put this out here and say you guys are the reason why I found my other half. There’s cool people on here even if you don’t find what tires looking for

I downloaded HRU after I had a falling out with my friend group. I was in a bad spot, desperately in need of some people in my life that I could trust and have a good time with. I downloaded this app and I didn't really think anything would come of it. But after quite a few dead end conversations, I matched with a girl and we really hit it off. She introduced me to some of her friends, many of who she had met on HRU too. We all quickly became close friends. Since then, I have met 4 or 5 other people on HRU that I have introduced to my newfound friend group, and our group continues to expand with new people that we meet on this app.

Great app. Like anywhere, people from all walks of life! However, we get to introduce ourselves to people we would not ever have met if it wasn't for online specifically...

Less people seem to use it, but when you get a match on this app it seems to be more serious than a match on Tinder. I've had some good experiences.

When you sign up it says 18-40. But once your on you are just met with kids under 18.

When I saw a add on Tik Tok for this I thought I'd give it a try, but when I went to go download it HRU Store said 17+. At first I was like "oh well I'm turning 17 in a week so it's fine." Nope!! When you go to make a acc on HRU it gives you a opinions for you're age from 18-40!! You can't go lower then that! That's a bit weird if you ask me so if you are younger then 18 don't download it please just don't!!

I am not trying to be rude or anything, but this girl stalked me from my insta acc, she found out all of my information after I said hi. I do not recommend getting HRU unless you wanna get stalked.

There are a ton of scammers on HRU, some try to guilt you while others will threaten you. The moderation is basically non existent so there’s almost nothing done about them.
As a reminder NEVER SEND MONEY TO PEOPLE YOU DONT KNOW. And check what people say.
Other then that is ok. It’s fun but lots of minors and weirdos and of course scammers.

Hi, I’m one of the few people who were first on this app when you were allowed to use voice chat to talk to random people and I actually had a great relationship on there. Then it was changed to Grace Chat it still had its voice chat feature and it was all good but then it turned back into this app and the voice chat and avatars were removed and I couldn’t talk to the guy I was in a relationship with. I really hope the creators or people can see this and I can at least get a response back in a positive manner, thank you for your time :).

Okay I’ll give it some credit. HRU is a very good concept, HOWEVER, it’s not represented correctly. It’s full of either bots, sugar mommas or daddys, Hor@y 15 year olds looking for a girlfriend and even worse pedos. And guess what the lazy developers won’t do anything about it. Guess what again. There used to be an app like this one called GraceChat. There’s proof of its existence on TikTok and I even have emails of me messaging the creator of gracechat. They deleted HRU most likely because they couldn’t handle the amount of pedos and trolls on it. If only they could somehow moderate HRU it would still be alive. The same thing might happen to HRU. It’s just so badly made and just stupid. Don’t expect to meet nice people. Most people here are just plain out weird.

Fix your garbage app!

HRU is already full of scammers and pedophiles, you cant even cross them out after blocking because they can still comment under ur post, and view ur profile for updates

I used to love HRU and it’s changed a whole bunch people are very wired on HRU and I’m sure most people don’t wanna see what people really post some people could be cool on his app I used to love HRU but now it’s just changed so much not like it used to be, please change it back to what it used to be

I am so saddened by the deletion of one of my favorite applications uploaded by you, Gracechat… please at least state the reason, then me and MANY many others will finally know. Love your apps!!

Don’t download it has a age problem you can’t see how old the people you are talking to nor can you filter out ages don’t download HRU

I saw an ad on TikTok thinking this would be similar to the show love is blind. It’s not, HRU asks for your age and no where is it posted and I have been approached by multiple minors on HRU. This is a breeding ground for predators. Something that gets marketed as dating app should absolutely not be marketed that way considering minors and adults are co existing without any restrictions.

It’s a nice app and everything. Some people you watch out for, Others you can have nice and simple convos with. Avoid scammers and weirdos! Also, A LOTTTT of people are wayyyy too horny….

Its a good app but i miss the old this app ngl bc now all u do is text ppl and cant go in worlds or nth.
