Didn’t even get to use this. Immediately after installing and allowing wireless access, All that crap, it said “if this was easy and like it, click "ok". That IMMEDIATELY putna "FIVE star review. Then, tried to use it— clicked on the home button of the “app remote”. All the sudden, I have to PAY quite a bit in order to use any part of the remote, After my 7 day trial. The reviews are a scam and should not be allowed to lie and trick. Don’t like to be deceived, I just take the time to say so when others just delete UniversalRemoteSmartTV or forget about it. SHAME SHAME SHAME

This was actually really easy to set up and the directions at the beginning were easy to follow. UniversalRemoteSmartTV is the only one that has worked for me so far! Thank u

As a developer myself, i can NOT recommend UniversalRemoteSmartTV to anyone. You have to pay to use all features on a very simple app. Note this price is about 300x more expensive than a physical remote long term. If you are using UniversalRemoteSmartTV I would only recommend the trial, nothing else.

$6.99 per week is insane. That’s $28 per month or $363 per year to use a remote control. When the entire lifetime cost of a regular remote is $10-20. You can’t be serious. Why not just charge a one-time fee or a reasonable annual subscription. By reasonable I mean like $10-30. I feel like that has to be spelled out to people who think a collection of buttons for choosing a movie and changing the volume is worth $363 per year.

I got billed since the customer support did not revert on the email request to cancel subscription. There was no options to cancel it manually in UniversalRemoteSmartTV

Pay wall won’t let you connect to tv. Honestly can’t developers find other ways to pay themselves with an ad bar constantly running with just basic remote feature.

You can’t get your money back! Terrible UI. TV turns off every time phone goes into sleep mode, then you have to start over.

The keyboard function does not work with streaming services. It’s a useless function that they are using to sell UniversalRemoteSmartTV. Waste of money.

Horrible. Only way to use is to purchase a monthly subscription or a lifetime subscription. You have to leave a 5 star review to install. Don’t waste your time!

Had no issues getting connected to my tv BUT if you want to actually use UniversalRemoteSmartTV as a remote you have to pay 20 bucks. No thanks

My son thoroughly lost the remote so I downloaded this. First off $6.99 a week?!?!?! That’s more than streaming services! That’s more than going out and buying a universal remote! That’s a asinine amount! Just charge a flat fee to buy it or a TINY monthly fee! That’s more than my cable company charges for a remote! Secondly, I couldn’t even use it! There is one button on my tv, under the tv so you can’t even see it. The first thing that happens is my tv asks me to approve the device, but the single button on my tv doesn’t do that. I’ve tried pressing and holding or quickly pressing it, nothing works to approve UniversalRemoteSmartTV so I can’t even use it. To get it working I would actually have to have my remote … which defeats the purpose!

I hate apps that are free but when you sign in you have to pay the monthly fee and the lifetime pass is so stupid don’t get UniversalRemoteSmartTV and it’s not even worth it. Just get other apps that are free that don’t have a monthly fee that work better

After I open UniversalRemoteSmartTV wouldn’t work what so ever tried restarting UniversalRemoteSmartTV a few times don’t work at all would not recommend it’s worse than a one Star UniversalRemoteSmartTV needs to be removed there’s no point even having it on UniversalRemoteSmartTV Store

You have to pay in order to use UniversalRemoteSmartTV . You cannot use it if you don’t sign up for a subscription with them.

Maybe on the other stuff I could see not having it, but for a lifetime purchase we should be able to have the remote on two phones in same house. I'd give 5 stars but that's just not good for customers.

It’s amazing but it’s not free so maybe not UniversalRemoteSmartTV but it would be nice if you really need it. It does come in handy but once again it’s not free so I’m not going to be able to use it but if you are willing to pay for it it would be amazing.

What is the difference of each price options

I tried every one of the remote for the Roku and this is the only one that found that works thank you
