When I first downloaded Checkmate , I got my bonus and got one sign up under my name. I cashed out a $10 gift card just fine. Then I started referring more people and they weren’t getting their bonus and neither am I. I tried redeeming my $10 I still had and now get an error every time. I’m not sure what’s up, but now I look dumb to the people I referred and everyone’s asking me where their $5 sign on bonus is. As of now, I do not recommend Checkmate! I’ve emailed support and have yet to get a single response. Do not download Checkmate!

My apartment complex had a promotion with this app, so I decided to download this app. I was excited to use it, but when I went to get the promotion, it wasn’t there. I didn’t think it was a big deal at the time; I just emailed their customer support and figured they would help me get things sorted out.

However, it’s been a week and they haven’t bothered to reply. At this point, I’m fairly certain the creators of this app are just happy to have gotten another download without having to fulfill the promises they made through their promotion.

So while I had planned to use their product, I’ve decided I won’t be using a product run by people who won’t even answer an email.

When I first downloaded Checkmate , I absolutely loved it and received many Savings and referred it to my entire team. I've had access to Checkmate for close to 4 to 5 months and here lately. The search button is just not working. This would be the search button on the first page that allows you to search for online stores coupons. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Checkmate a few times and the search button is just not working so now my access to Checkmate is minimal I'm not getting the full benefit as I was before because somebody please fix the search button. if you can fix the search button, I would most definitely give you all five stars. I love Checkmate Checkmate has been beneficial and Checkmate has saved me money with online shopping.

Why should you have to give your personal information for gift card credit that you're supposed to be receiving from refferal so I did get my gift cards but not until after they put ID check even when I do register my ID in it says document doesn't match which makes no sense
My recommendation, don't use Checkmate unless you want to get your information out to other people and especially if you don't have access to an ID.

Honestly you guys have to get better with being able use discounts because If don’t use the coupon it’s reviewed as I did and i am not able to use another coupon for the same order or site it’s like you can only get one coupon per site and purchase on the site and just checking and not proceeding with the purchase just checking for a discount is consider using it and you can’t get another one I don’t get it.

I got $5 per person I referred but they didn’t get their referral bonus, even though it says refer a friend, you both get $5. Also, I can’t even redeem for any gift cards. If this changes, I’ll update, but until then, it’s a big NO for me!!

Update: I was about to cash my money out but the card is just pending, still not able to use. Also, still waiting on a response about my referrals.

UPDATE AGAIN: it is legit, I did get my gift card! Still waiting to hear about my referrals that didn’t get a credit.

I referred 8 people so far that I haven’t been credited for. I emailed customer service but no solution yet. They said referring is back up so I referred someone today 12/20 and it didn’t work. I got the notification of their sign up but no credit. It’s been legit on giving me my credit that’s in my wallet as gift cards but now it’s not crediting me for referals when they said it should be. I’m very confused and frustrated.

this app is not an option under my safari extensions. I see Rakuten, and honey, but I don’t see this app. Anyone else have this issue? Or know how to resolve? I turned my phone off and back on, didn’t fix the problem. I also pulled up safari under my iPhone settings, and then clicked extension, and still don’t see this app .

Checkmate is FREE🎉and very nicely made to be simple, bright , interesting, clear and easy to navigate! It’s easy to find different brands and the add on for safari is great! It litterly finds the sales for you and notifies you! It does not get much easier then that! I use Checkmate pretty regularly and love getting on it just to look around as there always adding new deals and new items! The only reason Checkmate did not get four stars from me is because I wish they would add some more common stores to the mix too! That would litterly make Checkmate 100 for me! I can’t say enough how happy I am this is a FREE🎉 app that really saves me money!! Lastly but NOT LEAST……they have an amazing referral program so you can make money to shop with or get it sent to you directly. Can’t beat $50 for 7referrals, that’s easy money!!!!

I’ve tried in the past to use these saving websites like honey and capital savings, really bad experience, barely worked and barely had codes. But this app works really well, only works if there are actual codes (obviously). Saved me 10 bucks on a $80 order. Very nice app feels nice and works very well and easy to understand. Overall 10/10

I am loving this app! They make sure I don’t miss applying discounts from my email (or other sources) and I haven’t seen anything work this well for mobile shopping. Super bonus is to see clearly in Checkmate when my packages will arrive and how much I’m saving where. I feel like I love the dashboard view even more than I should - ha! this app has been a surprise / delight for holiday shopping and I will continue to use throughout the year. Also, super impressed with how fast they moved and clearly they communicated when they had a huge spike in traffic last week. Nice work this app. You’ve earned my trust.

When I downloaded Honey I had such a bad experience with faulty or expired codes I gave up on discount plug ins. Instantly after downloading this app, I had all my favorite stores prepopulated, showing me where I could shop and what ACTIVE codes were available. Two were to stores I had just visited in person, where they explicitly told me they had no promotions available - well a 25% online discount later, I returned those items.

I honestly may never buy in store again without Checkmate, and I definitely won’t buy online without it.

Title says it all - the experience was magical.

Can’t believe how many codes they have found me every day. When you shop, online, you never think of finding deals and coupons. this app makes it easy! You can save on everything. They have even found me savings on lawnmowers. I saved $160 and laughed all the way home. My neighbor paid full price, and when I told him how much I paid, he cried. Do yourself a favor. Honestly I found Checkmate tapping through my insta stories n I just downloaded to see if it really works. Surprisingly IT WORKS, with SKIMS, FASHION NOVA, SAPHORA, NIKE some Designers & LULU LEMON can’t forget WALMART, IKEA, TARGET. It’s also automatically generated when you connect to your browser on your phone, so when you check out it will automatically find codes for you that works. I can’t. Stay off my phone n shopping even more !

Didn’t get my 100 dollar bonus, not getting the 5 from the referrals, can’t change my email, discount codes don’t work, then they said they fixed the issue all we have to do is verify BUTTTTT you don’t get the verification text message. What is going on ? How can you all want us to change the ratings but Checkmate STILL DOESN’T WORK!

I honestly didn’t think this all would really work but it does and i’ve recently lost many of my clothes so i’ve been buying lost of clothes online recently. Checkmate has saved me SO. MUCH. MONEY. I just wished it worked in app, it’s a bit of an inconvenience to have to log into my shopping carts online just to get the savings.

this app has been super convenient and saved me a lot of $ over the last few months. I’ve been able to get most of my purchases faster, and for around the same price as the items but 1 or 2 day shipping. Love this app, and that it’s not intrusive in web surfing. Highly recommend!

This is Checkmate I didn’t know I needed. I was always searching high and low for discount codes and sometimes I wasn’t successful. Checkmate has helped me tremendously by seeking out 1-7 codes at a time and applying the ones applicable to my order. Very successful to me in my aid to save a few coins, here and there.

I have recently redeemed money from my gift card to make purchases for some reason it won’t allow me to track my shipment on Checkmate & it won’t allow me to raise my dollar amount with the referrals I get like it stopped after the max amount of people referred I’m not sure if it’s a glitch but so far it seems legit I will update my review once I receive my items.

Hey my this app card were redeemed and i have literally been unable to use them because the gift cards are stuck processing i had $275 this app points left that I’ve redeemed days ago that i can’t use due to this issue and I’ve had to reach out multiple times only to not get a response check mate be having so difficult problems i dont like that i will be Telling everybody about this if my issue isn’t resolved

Y’all saying Checkmate is a scam just lost out on some legit money lol…. Just email them and they’ll get your account back up and running! I just did my first $100 order… my only complaint (more like a me thing lol) is that you can only get $100 in gift cards every 24 hours, but other than that Checkmate is amazing and does everything it says! 10/10 will keep! 🫶🏻

I found out about Checkmate from a friend. I AM IN LOVE WITH IT! Before Checkmate was doing this watch and copy then paste situation that was annoying and strenuous. It literally does the work for me out of nowhere. I just wish it worked on other apps as well as on Safari. If it does, I have t figured that out yet.

I found Checkmate from a friend who used it so I referred several other people to Checkmate . I utilize honey and rakuten and was looking for an alternative. Checkmate does not do what it promises! You go to redeem for gift cards and are unable to click on the stores or it says unable to redeem due to unusual activity. Reporting Checkmate soon!!!!

Only leaving 5 stars because according to the email you are required to do this in order to be able to redeem your cash for gift cards. You also now need to verify your identity but good luck because the link comes up saying “This session got old and expired”.
