4.9 out of 5
It only goes to the page that says SAVE WORDS.

I downloaded LyricFluent and it allowed me to play the first few seconds of a song but when I hit “continue” the downloading process stops at the page that says “SAVE WORDS” so I’m a little disappointed.

Some bugs

For instance, while doing the “speak lyrics” module the voice recognition is failing to recognize correct answers no matter how you say it. It kept giving “erst mal” instead of “erstmal” and one of the lyrics was a sequence of numbers to where it registered as the numerals rather than the words for the numbers in the language (Deutsch).

No pricing available until AFTER signing up

Kinda irritating that you have to sign up before finding out any information about how much the subscription is. Great, fun app but not enough to go through a million steps to find out it has a potential, outrageous subscription price. (Which is generally the case whenever apps aren’t up front about it.)

Upgrade

Could you possibly consider making this for Spanish speakers trying to learn English!

Fun and helpful

Really great idea. Would love to see this idea and app built out a little more. My one main complaint is there’s no ability to type when translating. You’re just choosing a pre set list of scrambled words. So it’s really more about English syntax than it is about learning a new language. The rest of the activities are good though!

A little buggy

The Speak Lyrics function doesn’t work so you can never fully finish a song. Also, it used to let me find songs by level (beginner, intermediate, etc) but now it doesn’t have that search function easily found.

Amazing app!

I’d love for others to try it I thought it would be a fake but to works with helping me study!

Nice app

I think one of the best apps that i’ve found

About language learning with this app

LyricFluent is legit… definitely a must get for anyone wanting to learn Spanish in a fun and new way.👏👏

Learned a TON

I am an intermediate Spanish speaker mainly learned it from speaking, so I don't know if I ever say things right I literally have learned more Spanish and 24 hours than I probably have in the last five years using LyricFluent. Been able to go back and review your things I was always writing stuff down in a notebook and I work with a lot of Latinas so I can practice and questions the next day. Literally learned a massive amount of Spanish after just like five songs. Love love love - I'm hyper focused so I am using it in combination with an online dictionary. That's super helpful. You definitely need to supplement it for formal or true songs that don't have so much slang. I would give six stars if they had desfado by Ana Mauro with it being her number one song Portuguese, and more bar songs in Spanish like Paloma negra which are just as important as pop haha

Hidden gem

I don’t write reviews but LyricFluent is freaking awesome. I’m learning Italian and tried to expose myself more by listening to Italian music but I never knew the translations. Then I stumbled across this and it’s so freaking cool!

Actually works

I love LyricFluent. I am learning tons of practical vocab every day. In a week my ability to understand fast speaking has skyrocketed. I can only imagine where I’ll be in a year. LyricFluent
Really only works if you’re super passionate about music in your target language.

To the developers, I think it would be cool if yall added a feature that said what lyrics were slang and what dialect. I have found myself using Colombian slang to my Mexican friends on accident

Updates

Love LyricFluent. I think the only thing is searching up songs. It never searches them and there needs to be more songs added!

Fun way to learn language

I love LyricFluent! It makes learning Spanish so much more fun! If they don’t have a song that you are wanting to learn, then you can request and they will add it. I would definitely recommend LyricFluent to anyone trying to learn a new language.

Amazing, practical fun learning app

As someone who has a hard time sitting down & watching videos, this is a great substitute for comprehension skills!

LyricFluent is extremely fun as well. It’s much more efficient than making lyric sheets yourself. And you can click on a word n instantly get the definition.

One thing that would be nice is if there could be categories(Beginner, Expert, etc.) in the Favorites tab.

As best as it’s gonna F’ng get

If you’re trying to brush up on a language this is the pinnacle of apps for you. If you’re tying to learn a new language I’m sure this will help significantly as well.

The translation are pinpoint accurate. Plus the vast catalogue they have keeps this engaging and entertaining throughout your whole learning experience.

It really can’t get any easier and the only thing you have to do is show up and put in the reps.

Keeps music lovers motivated to learn new vocabulary, idioms and slang by country

I’m at an intermediate level is Spanish, so I was looking for something to take my vocabulary and motivation to the next level. Great for listening comprehension. Songs include a country flag of where artist is from. Very detailed explanation of idioms, slang, and cultural references, not just a literal translation of the lyrics. I can add vocabulary words I don’t know to my vocabulary bank in real-time.

Excited

Finally an app like this!!! So glad it exists!!!
