The school recently started using OurSchoolHangoutApp and it is very unsettling that the directory allows the entire school to see everyone in OurSchoolHangoutApp including emergency contact family members. The directory should be an opt-in feature, NOT mandatory.
OurSchoolHangoutApp is great for classroom and school use. I do wish that teachers could see who viewed EACH post instead of just the most recent so that we can make sure nothing important gets overlooked. Also, it would be nice to be able to tag specific parents for posts like on Seesaw instead of only having the option of class wide updates.
Our MDO and Preschool had been using this program for a year now and OurSchoolHangoutApp is an awesome addition! Easy to use and the developer is quick to answer questions and make enhancements. She is an awesome small business owner! 👍🏻👍🏻
