I understand the poor ratings. Cannot see or connect with people who’ve “liked” my profile without paying for a monthly subscription?! Never been on a dating site that doesn’t offer that in the very least. That’s probably why there are so few people on Fyra. Technical glitches everywhere. Cant explore interact with anyone unless you pay. Literally every 30 seconds am interrupted by pop-up advertisements by Temu, a corporation so sick many are boyc-tting rn . Fyra is like a bad prank on activists, to make sure they don’t reproduce. Forget this one, let’s do better

There really is no one in my area on Fyra and I live in a progressive city. I bought a coin that is unusable. Bugs need worked out (two languages) and needs to be advertised on something like the John Oliver show. I can’t figure out in any directions how to remove my profile. Closest male was 468 miles away. There are 16 year old boys on the site and not any people near my age that I could find.

Was hoping this could help find a good progressive match. Way too glitchy. Hard to load pics. Cropping was terrible. No one on Fyra . Too many spam ads/pop ups. Feels like a scam app. I’m deleting Fyra.

Only two progressive candidates within 30 miles of Austin, none in city. Austin in a liberal city. I don’t drive for climate reasons. So, Searching beyond Transit service area is an oxymoron.

It’s a good idea overall, but maybe unnecessary for left-leaning cities. There’s nothing particularly “lefty” about it except that it’s a smaller self-selected group of people.
The group is too small. I live in New York, so I can find a lot of left-leaning people on any app, and I find a lot more of them on the other dating app I’ve used.
It’s mostly free, but you have to sign up for a subscription in order to see people who have liked you first, which I find really irritating. It’s not worth paying for a subscription because every time I open Fyra I see the same people.

Poor customer experience. Flow doesn’t make sense. As soon as you complete a profile you are accosted with ads. The available people consist of gross old men and people who are not progressive. I’d say put some more money in development, and then a marketing campaign on bluesky or tiktok.

The concept is there, but the execution makes me not want to use Fyra. I’ll hold out hope that it gets better bc I like the idea of this. But the user interface and experience are both way too clunky. Also there are a ton of pop-up ads…

i love this idea as it is so
important to start from this common ground and not have to skim through endless profiles. this feels like a community.
however, the location is not working… thus…

and yes advertise! this could really catch on!

Fyra is new. It’s glitchy. There’s I think 3 people within 500 miles of me (and I live in a city of 3 million). So this rating has more to do with potential. Love the concept, if nothing else, because political affiliation for a lefty is about values and I like the idea of a dating pool where you start from a similar value structure. Looking forward to seeing where it goes from here.
