Dear Wiser App Support Team, I am writing to formally request immediate action regarding my account. I purchased the Wiser App along with an additional add-on. Despite making the payment, I have not received any of the services or features that were promised. My app remains stuck on the free version, and none of the paid content has been activated. I have attempted multiple times to contact your support team for assistance, but I have not received any response. In addition, I am unable to cancel the subscription from the app, and I am still being charged. This situation is unacceptable, and I kindly request the following: • Immediate cancellation of my subscription • A full refund for all payments made • Written confirmation that my subscription has been canceled and charges have been stopped If I do not receive a response within [3 business days], I will escalate this matter through Apple Support and other appropriate channels. I expect your prompt attention to this matter.

I was trying out the 7 day free trial (🚩that is only attached to the one year subscription,) and the app said it’ll notify me when my subscription is about to end, but I never got a notification and I just got charged $91 for an app I was just trying out.

I have been trying to figure out how to cancel this for months and I’m extremely dissatisfied with the lack of communication in how to do that. I have sent emails and tried the website since it wasn’t shown in my subscriptions as an active subscription even though it was bought in the App Store and continued to get charged for two pay period months (so six months total) for a service not even on my phone anymore. I just so happen to see the receipt come in at TWO IN THE MORNING this time and figured out how to cancel it. This is ridiculous and there’s not even a customer support line you can contact and they get in contact immediately. It was a cool service but not many options of books after you get thru most of them and impossible to actually speak to someone. Will not be recommending this but since I got charged AGAIN for it I’m considering redownloading it and seeing if more options of books are available now. My daily recommendations kept being books I’d already listened to on the app and so it lacked variety for me personally.

1. My app store is a little bugged and the subscription was purchased when it should not have. Not this app’s fault but the fact that I received zero customer service or response after weeks of asking for membership assistance is pathetic.
2. App is still buggy and kicks me out when I try to do something as simple as swap chapters.
3. No new reads in the month that I’ve had the app (not that I wanted it in the first place)
Between the absurd pricing, zero response efforts, overall poorly made features, and lack of quality or content updates, I have no patience left. Until I get a developer response and reimbursement, both which should have happened from the start, I will spread nothing but hate and malice towards this app.
