I really wanted this app to work because of the annual price. However, the data is all so screwed up. When you use the barcode scanner, it’ll pull up the food item, but with all the incorrect information. The macros and calories are no where near correct.
The next thing is when I went to the free mode, the ads are RIDICULOUS. I understand the use of ads.. but there is an ad for EVERY FOOD ADDITION. When you click on a food to add it, an ad will pop up. I added 5 food items to my lunch and 2/5 of the foods didn’t post because the ad interrupted it. So I then had add that same food, and lo and behold, another ad would pop up. This is really stupid.
Do not waste you time with this app. Do not waste your money for the premium version. Just don’t get this app. Sorry Calowise, but you need to have major improvements.

I really wanted this to work. It seemed as if it were perfect, then I noticed when I scanned barcodes of items it got item name correct, serving size correct, but numbers of calories was for the ENTIRE package! Example: Teccino organic French roast chickory dark roast is 20 calories per serving, serving size 1tbsp. The app said the number of calories was 900 and there was no way for me to change it. I had a snack of 1 slice Ezekiel bread with 1/2 tbsp Sprouts organic almond butter - serving size 1 tbsp or 32 grams, 210 cal. The app said serving size was 100 grams & over 600 calories. It also does accurately not rack steps. By 1 pm had walked 5000 steps, it said 2500; so I looked at the week’s record - ALL the steps recorded were wrong. I wear a FitBit which track my steps and my iPhone also tracks - those two match; this app did not. I don’t recommend this app.

Love the app so far it’s really has helped me be conscious of the nutrients in my meals and what I lack of. Results to come but it’s an amazing way to. Stay accountable. Unfortunately a few bugs are starting to bother me and is making it less user friendly. The first is in creating recipes if I scan the QR it doesn’t save the food item which makes building my recipes so much more tedious and inaccurate. The second is everything I input a meal the screen is stuck on food search there’s no way to go back to the main page. Every time I add a meal/snack I have to clear the window from my history and “restart” the app. Both of these are extremely inconvenient and I’m starting to question if I want to extend past my free trial.
