Good start but needs updates to be usable

I love the concept of TBR and would love to use it, but there are features missing that make it so I won’t continue using it. For one, if a book isn’t in their database you cannot add it in yourself (a feature that apps like StoryGraph allow). So some books I’ve read I cannot track on TBR. When you go to add a rating it will make you select a category (e.g., romance, self-help, classics) but there are only 6 categories. You cannot add a rating if you don’t select a category but many books will not fit into the available category options (e.g., memoirs, poetry, mysteries). I only used TBR briefly but these were the issues I ran into while trying to add all the books I’ve read this year. I’m hoping to come back to it in the future and maybe it’ll be more user friendly then :)

FINALLY

I have been CRAVING an app where I can put all my books but without the complexity of a social network. TBR is zero pressure and just a beautiful, minimal journal or your readings. I’m absolutely obsessed.

Love it!!

I love TBR ! It’s so simple and easy to use! The only thing I wish I could change is that I want to be able to select the year I read the book. I want to put books on my “read” page and rate them without them going toward my reading goal for this year. Is that possible?

Love the idea

I love the idea of TBR but they either need to add more books or allow you to add titles you’ve read to your goal bookshelf. I want to be able to see all the books I’ve read and should be able to add those to the bookshelf.
