I love Outside! It’s a great way to track your events and stuff. Would highly recommend to see how many days are left in your event and to amie sure you don’t forget them!

Enjoying it so far, and I’m looking forward to seeing what other features may be in store!

Seriously, there should never, ever ever ever, be a world where a countdown app has monthly and yearly subscriptions. $3 a month is an option. They’re saying that a countdown app deserves to have an option to be paid monthly, and at the same cost I pay for iCloud. A countdown app. Seriously. $15 for “lifetime”. iOS app developers have gotten so incredibly scammy with these absolutely stupid prices.

This is a great app and kudos to the creators for making something that a lot of people want.

Now that we are able to socialize again, this app is the best way to meet up with friends!

Adding my plans on this app makes me feel happy with the widget. Hope they add more styles!

Using for my exams and love the widgets! So happy, got my first reminder yesterday which was a nice surprise.

Your app is awesome! My girlfriend and I love it! In fact, it was a surprise for her. We were counting down the days until she moved in with me.
I was searching for an app like yours, and let me tell you, I downloaded about 7 different ones before realizing that yours is the best.

They’ve still got a way to go, but I’ve convinced a core group of friends to join and it makes planning low-key hangs so much simpler. The developers are super receptive to suggestions and I can’t wait to see this app become more integral in my post-pandemic social life rebirth.

But honestly the price is just insulting. I agree with the other reviewer, and they were complaining about $15 for a lifetime membership. A few months later it’s $50! Couldn’t rationalize it for that price.

It’s great for keeping things organized, I love how I can just go on Outside n see what I have planned. But there needs to be a few fixes. But if your a single mother or something like a teenager you’ll need this cause it helps me a lot with my days.

Out of the countdown apps, I like this one the best because of the auto-wallpaper feature! I don’t have the premium version, but I do imagine myself using the calendar import feature when I need more events to countdown

I read the other reviews who raved about it actually being a free widget app! Completely false. Widget feature does not work. Doesn’t even show up as a widget when you search it up on your phone. 45 day free trial and then have to pay for a countdown app? Come on🙄

It only has a 45 day free trial. Ended up deleting a few minutes after downloading. What a waste.

Everything I needed in a countdown app. The widget is actually free, it’s super customizable, awesome wallpapers for the widget and Outside Home Screen. It’s perfect. 10/10
Still have optional upgrades for anyone who wants a more premium service using their AI, it looks like a great option.

So far havent encountered any issues so its a 5 star review for me. Has everything i was looking for in a countdown app, custom background, interchangeable widgets for my homescreen, etc. 👍🏽

I love that there is the AI built in to Outside . The Assistant helps me with lots of things like where I can find places or find things. I love that there are widgets for free as well as the free countdown!

Love Outside , but the pricing is just plain greedy. I would have bought the previously offered $15 lifetime subscription, but now only annual plans are offered, with the cheapest being $20 per year. Deleting and looking elsewhere.

All many users want is a simple countdown app that they can see on their homescreen or lockscreen. I was so excited when I first started setting up my timer in your app… Until I got to the mandatory AI screen that promised to offer suggestions and wanted to link all sorts of data and “start exploring”. I immediately deleted Outside .

I want to be able to look at my phone and see how much longer until my vacation, retirement, etc. I get that there might be people who could use and may even want that optional (intrusive) AI… But at the very least, please offer just a simple basic countdown timer. Thanks

I’ve downloaded so many apps just to get a countdown widget for free. But apparently that’s hard to find, because every app asked me to pay if I wanted a widget.

NOT WITH Outside!

I can finally add a countdown for my wedding this fall without having to pay for for a subscription! I do wish I could edit the font (type, color, size, etc.), but it’s not a huge deal. Especially considering the price (again, ‘tis free!).

Outside was amazing, help me set up my trip with all of my friends. I was looking for a widget to keep track of my trip with all of my friends that I have known since 2017 and still haven’t ever met! We’re so excited for this trip and I wanted a app that would allow me to have a widget without any cost! Thank you so much, I recommend Outside to anyone who wants a great countdown app!

In the time that I downloaded and used Outside, the price for it has gone up and changed AT LEAST 3 TIMES!! What used to be one price is now 3 TIMES HIGHER than what it used to be. Also, it seems like features that used to be included in certain lower-price tiers are now locked behind higher-priced, subscription-only tiers which essentially forces a person to pay more for what they used to get for less. After the last update, you can’t even open Outside anymore without paying up. It’s all very confusing and completely ridiculous!! 👎

I came across a post about Outside on Reddit while searching the internet for a free countdown widget. I’ve been searching and searching and couldn’t find anything that was quite what I wanted. Every other app either had super limited options for customization (which were aesthetically unpleasing) or you had to pay for premium to use the widget. I’m SO glad I found Outside 🩷

Syncs with Calendar flawlessly, choose which items to import and which ones not to.

Review for Outdoor Countdown I decided to download Outdoor Countdown today, and it has not disappointed so far. Outside makes tracking my events incredibly easy and even allows me to merge calendars seamlessly. However, I have a few suggestions for improvement: 1. **Memories Tab:** It would be fantastic to have a separate map feature that displays pictures and locations of the places I've visited, even after the event has passed. 2. **Notepad Feature:** Adding a notepad to write reflections or notes after events would be a great addition.

Developer went the extra mile to fix this problem. I like Outside am glad it's working well now. Thank you for going the extra mile, speaks volumes!

Advertising yourself as a free countdown app when it is not is shameful. And to have all of my countdowns suddenly be completely blocked by a ‘pay or else’ screen is frustrating. I was able to watch an ad once for a free week. I would’ve kept doing that. That’s not an option anymore for some reason. No point, I tried to stick around. It’s only getting worse.

Was searching for a countdown widget app for an upcoming event I’m excited about. All the other apps I tried you have to get the premium version to use the widgets (I get you need to make money but that’s dumb). Saw your post on Reddit and tried Outside out. Very easy to use and the widget is included in the free version. I also like that you can set daily reminders to keep you excited about whatever you’re counting down to. I highly recommend, well done.

If you are seeking the very best countdown timer then stop searching around because your struggle is over! Outside is full of every possible feature you can think of and any customization you can conjure up…Enjoy!!!

I really can’t believe Outside is free and you won’t believe it either. And no I’m honestly not paid to say this but I would say it for free and I guess I am. You can put your own picture in there you can have a live countdown I have five in there so far and I haven’t seen anything telling me I can’t have more.
There are widgets although I can’t seem to get the one on my watch to work I don’t know why. But they have really cool widgets on your phone. I do wish you could put two events on there instead of one or multiple if you have multiple but I’m fine with the way it is. And you can share it to Facebook or other social media. Even to groups. I got on here originally because of my high school reunion but now I’m going to use this for everything!

I used to love using Outside with my girlfriend. We occasionally are long distance and it was such a cute way to bond and look forward to seeing each other again. The developers, however, became greedy and force you into a subscription. You don’t have a choice of ads with a free plan - you straight up have to pay for premium or annoy your friends into signing up to get access. It’s so sad that such a dear app has fallen from grace like this. Will be moving on, I suggest not downloading and wasting your time.
