Learn Hebrew For Beginners Reviews

Ads pretty much every time you touch the screen! You can choose a category like pronouns or greetings. You are then given a list of words or phrases for that category. Touching the word or phrase would, I would think, tell you how to pronounce it in Hebrew. However, it tells you the English phrase which, again I would think, would be entirely unnecessary for an English speaking person trying to learn Hebrew. I deleted LearnHebrewForBeginners in less than five minutes.

This Hebrew app looked like fun at first glance, and it looked like it had a great bunch of categories, like verbs and more to learn from but when I opened up the Verbs, and tried the pronunciation via the audio, I immediately heard that the pronunciations are incorrect. At that point I stopped looking at LearnHebrewForBeginners and I will go ahead and delete it. Since it looks like it could be a great way to learn Hebrew, If it were accurate, I hope they fix this!!

What good is it to see the letters, etc. and not hear anything? I cannot learn anything this way!

Just started and there’s no pronunciation of the letters/words.
So disappointed.

The alphabet isn’t complete and it doesn’t explain the pronunciations properly . It’s just trash

Is there supposed to be sound? How can I learn the correct sounds if I can’t hear anything?

LearnHebrewForBeginners does not work unless you upgrade to the premium, which is a paid app. There’s no reason to advertise it for free if it doesn’t work unless you pay for it.

The computerized voice makes it difficult to understand the accurate pronunciation

Ads cover par of the screen and with just a few movement you get ads… it is annoying.

Worst App ever!! No sound and full of adds. You can barely use LearnHebrewForBeginners for the pop up ads!! Deleting as soon as post this review. Many others that are free are outstanding but NOT this one!

Very annoying that I cannot seem to be able close the adds to get to the vocabulary words.

I get they want to keep it free, but the ads pop up every few seconds and cover over half of the screen. It makes LearnHebrewForBeginners unusable.

Do not get LearnHebrewForBeginners. Very difficult to use, there’s no Hebrew pronunciation, it’s basically just a list of vocabulary with a million ads. There are other apps that actually provide pronunciation of the words in Hebrew. LearnHebrewForBeginners developer has tons of language apps and is just farming ads. Waste of time.

I thought LearnHebrewForBeginners would help me start with learning Hebrew, but I was mistaken. The most I can get is the picture with no audible from the explanation and not the name of the letter. I know some letters just from my personal studies. Improvements to the operation of LearnHebrewForBeginners would be nice and I would probably try it again.

LearnHebrewForBeginners is a scam, too many pop ups unrelated to what the apps is allegedly intended to do. Videos advertising all sorts of stuff, I tried to find a way to close those annoying commercials but I couldn’t.

It keeps asking to click on these video advertisement. It was awful and I couldn’t even get to the lesson part. Don’t use it, it’s worthless.

Worst app. Couldn’t get out of ads. An endless loop!

I’m surprised to hear English pronunciations when I’m trying to learn Hebrew. 😳

This is not what I expected. I just downloaded LearnHebrewForBeginners and found that every time the pages are switched, an advertisement pops up. I also found that the alphabet doesn’t pronounce the letters.
