There is nothing interesting or new ~ all of the same match three games from Royal Match. So, if you like that, go for it. None of the games from the ads. (And Royal Kingdom and Royal Match have THE most annoying and looooonnnnggg ads of all that I have to watch for other games! So, sort of the worst of both worlds. Bad game, worst ads.) There’s no choice in what style to add ~ or color or anything. Just do a match 3, do the next “task”, another part of the picture appears, go to next match 3, etc, etc. They do have a shooting down the monster game form of the match 3 but not interesting at all. I’m going to delete it. Just my honest opinion.

This game just copied and pasted everything from the first game, Royal Match. It does everything the first game has done: it scams people into buying the game thinking they’d play the fun games but you don’t, and instead play a standard match three game. It seems like you have to rescue the king, but you don’t have to do that. I know the developer team will not read your reviews, because they’re full of nonsense. Very annoying. And I don’t care if I lose many levels and can’t move on, it’s a bad game anyway. What are these people? Third grade game designers? What’s wrong with them and the inability to give us what we want? Everything.

I got this game because if an add and at first the add looked like Royal match (I already have royal match) and then my brother told me they made a Royal kingdom but I thought it was going to be more runner don't get me wrong it is fun in some sort of way.. BUT its basically like royal match just different settings and different creativity so I wouldn't really recommend this game if you already have Royal match because it's basically like another Royal match on your phone.. In terms of the gameplay and story, it’s better than the other Royal King game, but just like that game, it becomes a pay to win very quickly. The developers of this game figured out how to take advantage of dumb and vulnerable people that pay money for this games. It never made much sense to me. You pay real money so that you can pass a level, then you get stuck again, and once again you have to pay, and it continues that way im assuming until your bank account is empty. You have to be a royal idiot to fall for this. If the game had skins, or things you could buy that you get to keep in the game i wouldn’t mind paying money. Like for example, shooting games. In shooting games you get to buy weapons and keep them, so the money is well spent, but here you are literally giving your money away and not getting anything in return. If yall can stop paying, they wont make the game so unbelievably hard to pass. Im out!

I really enjoy their other game Royal Match. I had high hopes as I started playing this game. The graphics and game play is great. But it does seem like this game is trying to get more money out of our wallet. In Royal Match if you fail to complete levels, the game will eventually start awarding you additional moves. Royal Kingdom doesn’t offer this. With this in mind I won’t invest in this game. I do invest in Royal Match, and I feel I am rewarded for this.

I do not like that the game won’t change from portrait to landscape like royal match does- this makes it annoying to play on my iPad. If you already play royal match , it’s the same but you build a kingdom rather then rooms. I think the graphics for the kingdom is cool, but I give the game a “meh” . Not going to use up storage either when it’s basically the same. Will stick with the original. Why fix it if it’s not broke. Love Royal Match

I enjoy the first game. It’s addictive enough to pay money for. The matching feels challenging and the rewards seem worth the money to pay for if you want a little bit more.

This one doesn’t have enough rewards and I’m not fond of the battle sequences. They are either to simplistic or too challenging. Or feel too much like other games with match battle sequences. Definitely needs to see more balance. Something just feels a bit off with them and I cannot put my finger on it other than to say they’re kinda boring.

The beginning stages are also not quite “there” yet. You’re hit with new things to break within the first few levels and within several levels you’re suddenly having to break many different types of things but there’s very little reward for doing so. What makes a game addictive are the feelings of being rewarded for the achievement and there really isn’t any and the challenge of wanting to be rewarded.

I like a challenge but it feels very imbalanced. Hopefully with time, this one will be as fun as the first. Right now it just doesn’t hit the spot.

Fun game - if you enjoy Royal Match you’ll like Royal Kingdom. But the board & match pieces need improvement. They aren’t as easy to view - each piece needs more differentiation. The lines on the back of the board and similarity of “ice” to the board’s color all leads to it being harder to play. The bombs look like the blue castle piece. The spinning tops look like the yellow piece. Please work on refining and differentiating the game pieces & removing the lines. Or use more colors so it’s easier to view! Royal Match is definitely easier on the eyes.

I mean like it’s cool that they’re brothers but like if you played Royal Match there’s literally no difference except for a new character. Like could they not put this game in the original one as a new mode or at least let you change the character instead of idk making a whole new game? How about you actually give us a game around those fake royal match game ads? That’s should be more entertaining than a “Royal Match but with a new king”. Like change up the gameplay, do something original!

I like a lot of aspects about this. It’s a lot better in a lot of ways than its predecessor. But there are a lot of levels that are not f2p friendly. I’ve run into a good amount of levels now that are really difficult to beat without paying to keep your cauldron. And when you lose it, it becomes even more difficult to beat the next hard level. Not a fan of the system but they do give you a lot of free helps and being on a team can help with lives. I just wish the levels were more casual, or that there would be an option to make them harder or easier based on usual preference.

Usually with Royal Match, you continue to earn coins after beating a level and more power ups are created. Here it stops counting after the ones originally left on the board are popped. Plus, I feel like harder levels should earn you more than 10 coins, same as the easier levels.

I am one of the top ranking players in the other game, at the end of the levels and onto the royal league… this is refreshing -so far from RM.. I would like to see, and be able to transfer my team easily to this game, because we have an amazing team on RM. playing both, because heard once it gets to level 10k, on the other one… there will be no more updates… RK, so far so good..

In just about every way, this is a major improvement from the first game, “Royal Match”. Gameplay wise, it has fresher gameplay that feels satisfying, as opposed to the sometimes infuriating gameplay of the first game. I’m on level 46 right now and I’ve enjoyed every second! Can’t wait to see what the devs do with this game in the future!

I am an AVID Royal Match player and play it day in and day out. Once I found out there was a new king, King Richard, I knew I needed to install this game ASAP. Once I downloaded it, I realized my life was completed. Royal Match and Royal Kingdoms completed my conquest in search of puzzle games. I have never played a better game in my life. Excellent work developers, excellent work.

I am only one day in, but I see improvements and depth on this stunning sequel. The mechanics return with all the usual powerups! Plenty of new twists and turns. Kudos to the devs for making a loving followup to an Apple classic. The Kingdom building totally trumps the one room rando upgrade mechanic in the original. I’d replace my match three now. The Return of the King is at hand!!! Thanks Dream!

Been playing since launch. Just as entertaining as its predecessor, Royal Match. Lots of familiar gameplay elements and some fun new ones. No real pressure with ads or IAP’s. The graphics are a little more crisp than the previous game, adding some UI improvement. The somewhat simple but fun story that comes with it adds some refreshing change that so many match 3 games lack. Overall a good addition to the genre. Solid work devs!

As an avid fan of Royal Match, the concept of the game through level 16 is virtually identical. The graphics are fun.. I enjoy the story being told through the animated scenes. If the “tasks” could stop popping up after every completed level, that would be great. Other than that, really good game! I’m looking forward to reaching level 9000! 😁

So far it’s so much better than royal match. The movies and music make me feel like I’m playing in a movie. It really comes down to the better graphics though. The ivy, the propellers, the bombs. the form of art is beautiful and the sounds are deeper.

I’m really enjoying this! I still play Royal match but I love the differences in this new game! The only complaint I have, and it might seem silly to some, is that the areas don’t keep any of the natural environments when they’re cleared. It’d be nice if you incorporated some of the existing habitat into the cleared areas. Just a thought!

You know those really annoying ads that show a match game one way and then it’s not… well this it’s everything you want it to be with a cute story. Playing you’ll enjoy the features you’re used to in the first game with more to boot. I totally recommend this game.
