Went out with four coworkers and pulled splyt out when the check came. The other three glanced at each other awkwardly and one said they assumed we were going to just split the bill four ways. I explained that I had only one drink while two of the others had two drinks (additional tax), one of colleagues ordered a starter, my meal (vegetarian) was several dollars cheaper than the others, and wouldn’t it be more equitable if everyone selected what they’d ordered off the receipt and then Venmo’d me what they’d ordered?

Needless to say, splyt worked, but I haven’t been invited out for dinner and drinks in a month. Buyer beware.

I love this idea and it definitely works well. The only thing that is annoying is I want to be able to just spit the bill on MY end without having to invite people. I picked up the bill at a restaurant and days later my friends reminded me to charge them. I remember exactly what everyone got and partook in and want to be able to just assign the items to my friends quickly on my end just to calculate what they owe me, but i HAVE to invite my friends to the bill in order to do that? I just want there to be a way to skip the invite step and be able to use the split function to avoid the awkwardness of sending my friends an app invite just to do the calculations

splyt is so effective at splitting the bills on the spot. It is a game changer when you have someone willing to front the bill and don’t have to inconvenience the wait staff. You just scan the QR card mark what you had and you’ll be taken straight to the frontera Venmo or Cash App. The Developers also clearly care about making sure splyt runs as smoothly as possibly. I ran into some bugs, messaged them on Instagram, and they fixed it within 10 minutes.

All the more reason to book that 10 person reservation. So easy to divvy up a bill and make sure no one’s left covering more than they should because math is hard. Just saved 20 minutes of post brunch calculus to figure out who owed what to whom. 20 more minutes to order another round. As a former waitress, this thing is AMAZING.

this app takes away alllll the awkward and complicated stress over paying the bill for large (or small) parties!! My friends and I use splyt every time we eat out, it’s soooo easy and quick! Would give 10 stars if I could.

We were able to split a bill in about 10 seconds and everyone paid exactly their portion. It’s very easy to use and saved us from doing a bunch of math. It splits the tax and tip also, it was perfect

No more waiting for a friend to offer a spreadsheet we got the venmo request for a week later. Now everything is easy and money is transferred on the spot consistently. My friends are always interested when introduce it. Very user friendly, highly recommend!

My favorite app that’s ever been created. Such a simple idea that fixes one of life’s most annoying problems (splitting the bill). I’ve been using it since it was just a webpage, and they did a great job with splyt . Easy to use and the rebrand looks great as well! I tell everyone I can about splyt.

Being able to actually split the bill evenly has been a struggle for everyone who goes out to eat with friends and family. Now they can select exactly what they ordered and pay that part. Ordered 15 beers? Well there will be 15 beers listed and you select each one you bought for yourself. It’s awesome. I use it every meal.

Easy to use and fast. This is the best way to split bills and make sure everyone pays their own tab. Quickly splits up a bill into individual items and you’re able to split items with friends. Tax and tip included and links right to your Venmo. Way better than just splitting it evening.

Easily the best, most user-friendly finance splitting app I have used. It completely takes away the awkward end of a meal with friends or family where someone has to front the bill and calculate how much everyone owes. It is easy, quick and guarantees you only pay for what you got - every time. Highly suggest using this app in your day to day life!

My friends and I love using splyt!!! It’s very user friendly and is helpful when the bill comes & everyone ordered different things. It’s beneficial to the people that just split an entree or didn’t drink multiple drinks! No more “let’s just split it evenly!” - splyt lets you select exactly what you got & figures the tip and tax as well! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Especially for big groups!

I used to dislike going out with lots of people because deciding how to split the bill at the end of the night was always a pain. this app completely takes all of my precious Check Anxiety away. It’s so easy to use and ensures nobody is paying for more than what they received. I’ve been using this since it was only available as a webpage and will continue using it for as long as it’s an app!

i’m always going to big group dinners and lunches and this is by far the best app to use to pay for exactly what you got. I love the pre-split feature for shared items so you don’t have to wait for everyone to find out how much you owe. not to mention the tip/tax is applied to your subtotal so you’re not paying extra. it’s very quick and easy and directs you straight to venmo to pay :)

An absolute GAME CHANGER! I used to always dread the bill coming, at group dinners with friends who I didn’t know some of the people there. I would always end up putting my card down and GUARANTEED not every one would pay me back and you would have to sit there with a calculator and ask for Venmo’s. Those days are gone. this app makes it all seamless and within moments you can evenly split the bill and let the good times keep rollin. Love splyt!

I have tried many bill splitting apps. This has been one of my favorites. My friends have also started using it. It is extremely user friendly and does a well job in capturing receipts and splitting it. I also love that it’s easily customizable to receipts that may have some other service charges that are added that are harder to capture in other apps that I have used previously. Highly recommend downloading splyt!

splyt is beyond easy to use and so efficient. There is so much less pressure taking on a big bill because you can have it divided and paid in Venmo before you even leave the table.
