I loved OKAMPro and camera. I have had it for a few months and the picture quality was excellent, night vision was ok could be a little better. However I updated the firmware today and it demolished the picture quality. It looks like I’m back in the year 2000 with 240p resolution even when I set it to the super HD setting. I tried restarting the camera remotely and reinstalling OKAMPro and nothing works. Super disappointed.

Your app isn’t working can you please fix it? I bought iCloud storage and motion detection is on and it only works sometimes. It doesn’t always save the clip on OKAMPro like it should

This update made it so the camera does not stream anymore when trying to monitor it from your phone. Do not update it if you want it to work. Update: and now it works again intermittently if you open and close the video 3x. Never on the first opening for viewing live video. Very frustrating back to one star.

I purchased several of the O-KAM wireless cameras. After 2 months I can not connect to any of these O-KRAP cameras. I tried to reset it the cameras .. that did not work. Uninstalled and reinstalled the O-KRAP app .. still did not work. If the need to reach out to a developer is the solution then it’s not worth it. Also be aware the software scans some of the users phone content. I since then have used an old phone with no Celluar to install OKAMPro and surprise .. it still did not work. Makes you wonder why only after a few months it stops connecting to its own devices.

First off I downloaded OKAMPro to be able to function a new cam device I had purchased. OKAMPro does not link well with Wi-Fi, and it certainly did not link the cam device with app. After trying countless of times, I submitted to return my purchase, but I tried canceling my account even though I had not purchased any cloud space for device. I merely tried to hook this device up. I got declined message to cancel my account after having installed the darn app within 15 minutes. This does not feel safe or secure. I don’t recommend OKAMPro, I suggest you do your research, because I neglected to do so, thinking all would be a relatively smooth, fun, transition. Nonetheless, I’ve deleted OKAMPro , and I’m sending the product back. Bad purchase all the way around for me. Not happy at all. If anything, I’m more sketchy.

This is the absolute worst! I had Reolink cameras before and I could access them from anywhere. The whole point of the camera is for a remote location. It is 100% impossible to set up this camera or use this monitoring system unless you physically go to location. I even had my guys set it up with an account on location everything working great, but I am not able to access even if I login with the same credentials! it has to be the same physical device. Am I supposed to mail my iPhone or computer to the location?? And they're not allowing to switch email addresses. They say you can "bind to a different email address," but it's complete nonsense. it doesn't work after 12 attempts. Also customer service is a complete JOKE. If you try to start a chat, it says please try back during regular business hours. I'm calling in in the middle of the work week during regular business hours. Apparently this Chinese business is pretending to be a US business, but it simply ships cheap cameras to the US and then gives very little support.

Software can be less than useful. I get notices in Chinese when trying to purchase storage…please see review in Amazon…a very frustrating purchase for those of us that may NOT be as knowledgeable about software terminology…

These cameras are terrible, disconnected from my wifi with no reason, won’t connect again to my router. Tried everything, spent several hours, instructions don’t work. What’s a waste of time and money!!!

Cannot get a live streaming it was sending notification with movement now it’s not and the “alarm” when pushing does not sound and now it’s flashing blue/green and will not stop… SERIOUSLY and it’s NOT EVEN PLACED WHERE I NEED IT TO BE! 24hr service is a joke I get a message to try during business hours and still NOTHING

Chinese spyware, beware! User cannot turn off microphone or speakers. That should tell you everything you need to know about this Chinese app. I would not use these cameras inside your home or YOU WILL BE MONITORED by the Chinese Communist Party. I would not recommend OKAMPro or it's products. Use at your own risk!

I tried to contact support, but did not show in the wed side where I could contact them. Where ? BevUse I payed for one year that app charge to my credit card but OKAMPro O-Kam does not show that.

Customer service non existent. iCloud will not work. We receive phone alerts of motion detected not no playback. Bought the iCloud subscription didn’t work. Waited a couple days didn’t work. Worked one day out of the blue. Prompted to updated the device and then iCloud stopped working again. For needing a playback camera this set up is kinda like having no camera all. A lot was paid for the camera itself, iCloud storage and then buying more iCloud monthly storage through apple app. This camera is just a scam/fraud to having complete access to all personal information with no product delivery.

This is 100% a scam. You cannot keep the camera connected. It does not come with clear instructions. And even if you activate the seven day free trial, you can’t activate it unless you buy the yearly subscription and even when you buy the yearly subscription you can’t get it because you have to keep adding, which makes you buy another yearly subscription. This is just to drain your bank account. These people are not there as customer service to help you. This is a Chinese scam. Not to mention there is absolutely no way to contact anybody look at it. It gives you no contact information whatsoever so you don’t even have to get into what I got into and lose all the money that I’ve lost. You can look down there and see that you have nocontact information for anybody in anyway shape form or fashion. This is the worst thing and I am going to report them and I’m going to have someone arrested over this because they reached a $500 minimum withdrawal on my account so now this is a felony interstate crime.

I bought 2 pcs first worked 3 days were very good . Clear picture and long battery life . But after 4th day I need to keep delete OKAMPro and re download again and again. I send messages to support not getting any response. It’s not supportive.

I set a few of these cameras up to keep an eye on my animals.. it has a "motion detection" feature yet it seems that nothing triggers it. I check OKAMPro often and will literally watch stuff happen that should trigger a motion sensor, but don't. The help center claims theres a 24 hr recording function too but I can't seem to activate that for my camera, despite having it plugged in all the time. This disappointing camera just makes me sad. OKAMPro itself, though definitely flawed, works fine.

Regarding the developer's response:
Yes, you don't think I've already tried that? Regardless, I want to know why I can't go back a view footage from throughout the day. I believe I have it on 24 hr recording, but still nothing.

When I first got the camera it worked flawlessly. However now that I have had for a couple months the cloud recording will not play or allow me to download. I tried updating but still have the same issue of the recording not playing. I thought that maybe the storage was full and deleted off all the videos, tried allowing it to record a new video but it fails to load! Try getting customer service is like pulling teeth! I had just talked 4 families into buying the same setup I have and now I’m having issues…

someone gave me this camera, and it is impossible to find the footage you need in here because the search system is terrible. Somebody actually was going through my closet where the camera was and the camera caught it however, I cannot find that footage even when I put the specific date and time in it doesn’t find the footage. Also, I had to buy the cloud storage twice because it never gave me the cloud storage so I had to pay for it twice and even then I still didn’t get it. I was going to have to pay a third time when I said forget about it this just won’t find the footage I need and no matter what you do. It is impossible to accomplish any task with it. Go ahead and try it and I dare you to try to accomplish anything with it it’s just impossible to use.

Following up on my review and the developer response- I cannot reconfigure the camera as it isn’t linking to OKAMPro or my Wi-Fi. I have set my Wi-Fi to just 2.4GHz and it still doesn’t appear. And the QR code does not connect the camera to my app. Where can I contact you for support?

I was successfully using OKAMPro with a camera that came with a bird feeder. Recently I accidentally pushed the mode butting and it reset and now I cannot reconnect. The camera is MDC-1 “smart Wi-Fi security camera Best Discreet Camera”.

Setup is pretty easy, did have a problem with settings for recording. battery life drained super fast but after a few days of charging and tweaking the setting it wasn’t to bad but I did have to buy 2 long usb charger wires, a wire box, charging packs and a lock to keep people from touching it but I still have to switch the packs roughly every week. I have 2 of these cameras for different angles but one records and the other doesn’t which is a serious issue due to I bought the cameras to protect my car from my neighbor who likes to open their car door wide and hit my vehicle 😒

The camera is good enough for viewing current time but don’t spend the money to get playback because it rarely records anything. Motion sensing is terrible. You can stand in front of it for 5 minutes and it won’t pick up anything yet it records a car driving by 100 meters away for a second

OKAMPro is kind of annoying it always logs me out, it doesn’t keep my preposition settings, I have to keep resetting them. There is a delay in the motion detection when it’s triggered by a person the alarm sound happens too long after the fact of a person triggering the motion detection, plus it also does not follow the person efficiently. But my main gripe is me having to reset the preposition pictures all the time. And the navigation of the settings is a bit annoying also. I need to find a replacement app for my camera.

Find it very weird that I just got this camera and it keeps timing out and I don’t have any issues with any other device and when I contacted customer supper they told me they have another app to use that does the same thing….why do you need two apps that do the same thing. Seems shady to me. I ran all the diagnostic tests they told me but the connection would just randomly time out and go offline and I wouldn’t be able to get on and I use this camera to watch my toddler so not being able to have visual is not an option….also find it weird they haven’t had any version updates about this.

Multiple times a day I have to log in and accept the terms and conditions, my cameras also take quite a while to load up and they’re both close to my router for the WiFi. Some times it doesn’t pick up movement even if I’m outside and know that I’m within range, it doesn’t always record me. I can check the stored videos and there will some times be nothing from around the time that I was around the cameras. Other than these couple of issues, they have came in handy and have caught people going through my garbage.

This camera says it’s works with Alexa but mine doesn’t; OKAMPro doesn’t show up so I can link it to my account. Also the camera shifts focus upwards a lot and stays stuck so you have to keep moving it around manually even tho you have access to control it on your phone. Weird, but it’s affordable so it’d do for now I suppose.

Had these cameras forever a month now they only go off for insects son coming in out of behind the clouds and they won’t stop going off from dark till daylight. Gotta keep them muted people pull in and out of my properties and it only picks them up when it wants to it would rather go off for, the invincible air moving past the lens. OKAMPro is not functionable with VoiceOver settings. Enabled enabled would not recommend it.

Video clarity is great, App is easy to use. I wanted wireless, battery operated and no contract as I want local SD/TIF storage.

Issues 1. Their WiFi performance is glitchy. Even after I placed wifi extenders approx 5-10 feet away, App is still slow to connect, fails often to connect on App.
2. If not selecting all the power saving options, so limiting the features, power is drained very quickly which is disappointing. One unit was drained of power with all the advertised features within 1-week!!
3. After taking both units down to recharge, had to delete both units from App and reinstall, and reconnect with closet WiFi extender. I’ve only done this once and I’m hoping this does not happy every time. Used the TP Link to tether extenders better, and allowed to rename to avoid confusion etc.

Easy to start up. Easy online startup. My only problem was the connection for storage. Confusing as how to pay and they wanted you to get a credit card? A PayPal card? I was confused if this was to pay for the I cloud or I was getting a new credit card? They also don’t tell you how to have the camera or cameras on other phones ( my wife’s ) for both of us watching! Also setting up multiple cameras and sharing with my wife. So I just kept it on my phone, wife not happy. Also how to turn off siren no symbol to show it’s off, the symbol is just neutral without a line across it to show it’s disabled, it’s at our cottage and I don’t know if the neighbors are going to get blasted at 3am !

We had an issue with one of the cameras and emailed customer service. They responded very quickly and remotely updated “ something.”
We are still evaluating the “fix” but am confident if not to our expectations that the customer service will make it right.

Good little outdoor cam. HOWEVER! ONLY “1” MAJOR PROBLEM keeping me from giving this a possible 1-2 Star rating is: the “FACT”, they give you “NO option” but to pay “through PayPal ONLY”! I spoke w/Apple support today, personally. 1st time EVER this has happened, regarding an app through OKAMPro Store.
I do NOT do PayPal etc. “I would” get the subscription but unfortunately, given the ONLY option of payment, does NOT SIT WELL with me. Just had to put this out there for those who have experienced this issue, and for future customers! I pay through Apple! That is ALL I will move forward with. When you have gone through Fraud, extreme at that, one’s tend to be more cautious of being given “ONE option of payment”. Other than that, great picture for the cost of the Cam, & bonus it is Solar powered.

Am technically handicapped but the cameras and app were relatively easy to set up and are working well after 1 week, so far. I only wish there were a way to check the battery levels on the cameras.

I have had this little camera for about 3 months now and it’s my go to camera for for travel and placing in area’s that I’ve suspected someone was snooping through my things. It’s perfect and fairly easy to hide and make blend in so it’s not obvious. Believe me it’s done it’s job on that end- have caught people in my yard and some other nefarious activity. My only real issue is the charging port was loose from day one, and I have to put pressure on the cord to get it to 100%. The battery will last along time if it’s not in a high traffic area. Want to get 1 more of these.. also you need a strong WiFi signal so placement can be difficult if you don’t have a large WiFi signal area. Wish it was a little better at bringing in that signal a little better

The cameras are good and seem to have pretty good battery life. My only concern is the notifications. I don’t get notifications all the time the camera activates and I have to log back into OKAMPro roughly 80% of the time. But like I said cameras are good though

This system has prevented incidents and secured my home. The playback feature is top tier, within a couple seconds of the motion sensor hitting you’ll receive a notification. This system is great if you travel a lot as well. I’ve been away from home numerous times and was able to talk to the delivery guys, mail man,etc….. 5 stars for meeeeeeeeee.

These cameras are working really well so far. the solar panels keep them charged well.
They have no trouble connecting to wi-fi inside our house, and our house is almost 5000 square feet.
They are much quicker to detect and record motion than our older cameras.
Super HD is very clear, but it's still difficult to read most car license plates that are on cars parked in the street in front of our house.

Sometimes it's slow to connect to the live view of the camera. The SD card we have is 128GB and we can see recordings on both the card and cloud.

We tried the IGeek cameras and the indoor one was ok but the outdoor solar one was not so great. Then we tried this camera and it has been much better.

Again, it's not perfect, but for the price we'd definitely recommend them.

Works in color with little light and has a good night picture. Only complaint is a delay in response. That may well be our internet service so, I still have it five stars. We have it out by our livestock. It does not go off for normal movement but does go off for rapid or unusual movement , because of that, it works extremely well for our needs. We are very happy with the distance it covers. We can see out entire four acres and some of the neighbors pastures.

First off I was leery about using this brand out of China, but after using it for nearly 4 months now, I have no privacy issues.
As for the doorbell camera, it’s been phenomenal, video quality is crystal clear, day or night, we really like the human identification tracking feature so the camera won’t set off with every little movement from a tree, birds or bugs.
It’s been working flawlessly and with the 3 day cloud storage and the micro SD card we have installed there’s no need to pay a monthly or yearly fee for storing videos.
The battery life is decent, I usually charge it every couple of months, except during winter when the temps drop below freezing then the battery tends to drain a little quicker.
OKAMPro is wonderful, plenty of settings, more than other brands we have used.
Highly recommend.

I have to say I’ve had many many security cameras and this is by far the easiest only can I record my voice as an alarm, but there’s a nasty alarm with lights flash takes a picture. I love this thing and the battery life check. It is amazing way to go the price was unbelievably affordable. And the camera is dirty and waterproof, anyone would be a fool if they pass up to offer. So don’t be a fool buy something cool like this HD super HD camera

I am impressed right away. I have tried other cameras that don’t work with WiFi yadda yadda this one does and I may just be buying several more if it keeps up the good work. I really want to be able to rotate the view because it’s upside down. But I am learning as I have just opened this up , activated it, now considering active placement. Worth it

Clear picture mostly in black and white but I also live in the country and don’t have the best wifi in other that said it works with our WiFi and 3 other brands didn’t!
Love that it turns all the way around
And OKAMPro lets me switch between the 3 cameras easily
Love it!!

This application and the camera this is great very simple to use. I would say if you have a large area to watch, I would order six at one time of these type of cameras so they all work together. This is a great system. Great camera set up great features, it has the motion feature the zoom feature lights this is just a great camera and simple to work easy to use but you have to download your cloud or you should pay your clout for a year at least six months to a year. This is great, and it saves all of the photos that it captures.

Love the camera. Wish it didn’t take so long to load live view when we need to see what is happening in real time. Seems like it takes forever to load. We have super fast internet and other cams don’t have this problem (brands and types). ((We have three different brands of cameras on property))

So far it was a breeze to install and now to go through all the settings and get it set to my personal specs...I'll follow up in a few days and then see what I'm thinking.
OKAMPro is really great but I am not sure if it is supposed to work on a apple watch but it pops up on my SE 3 with a arrow in the middle of the screen but when I touch it to see the video it just goes black...if any one knows how to make it work please let me know by email or leave a solution on ur review...I'm hoping to hear from the developer if they will email me...thanks ahead for your help

We were skeptical at first about this camera because we purchased it on Shein; however, we’ve had this camera now for over a year and it has surpassed our expectation. The picture quality is clear. It detects the slightest motion and sound. We have no connectivity issues and if placed in proper sunlight, then the battery life is continuous. Great product!

Got this a few days ago, arrived today and the quality is amazing. It’s perfect for detecting if anybody is trespassing- and you can hear the audio and there’s night vision modes. Wonderful!! Thank you for OKAMPro, I’ve been messing around with it today because it’s really neat haha, we will be putting up 2 other cameras on the opposite side of our house tomorrow.

It’s very simple to set up. Just follow the directions, which are perfectly clear. The camera/app even wait for you to figure it out if you get stuck. The range on the WiFi is good. I’m going to buy five more to cover the back and front yard, and, depending on how many OKAMPro can hold, I’m gonna put some in the house too.

Much happier with this product than the two other brands I have tried before that never quite worked they way they were supposed to, and were much more expensive. This product has an easy to use app; the hardware was pretty easy to install, and connecting to WiFi and customizing settings was fairly fast and easy too.

I’ve had this camera in use about a week now while I’m out of town, and I am quite pleased with its performance so far. One thing I really like is that I don’t need to have any kind of cloud account to store any motion detection pictures past just the last couple days like I do with some other brands of cameras. Would definitely buy more units in the future.

It has a siren it has a light that will turn on if u have it set that way you can put it in night mode you can rewatch things and you can intercom!!

I finally got the right camera after 3 tries…clueless at first on where to begin. Be sure to get 5g and if you need it because 2.4g only will not work. Great video quality- it’s so cool to watch what my kitty Gidget is doing safe in my room from her tormenting Tuxedo brothers! She’s eating and sleeping and playing with her toys…so happy! Highly recommend…🙏

The quality of the videos are great. The application is very simple to use and the 5g works well.
The only recommendation for improvement is the application should have an option to sort the display sequence when using many cameras as we do. Currently the display sequence is order the cameras are installed. Other companies use the title (name of camera), as the order of sequence which gives the customer lots of flexibility.

Didn’t realize how much this camera was going to be so useful to my every day activities, it is good for when you are outside and you need to call your partner. All you gotta do is get on that camera and call through the camera records if you happen to forget where you put something just go back and make the camera and it’s right there to tell you every single time you can forget where you put your keys, I recommend this to anybody

for the praise and the options that this camera gives you is excellent. I would trade any of my cameras to get this one camera. You don’t even need to have it plugged into the wall to have it record. I put an SD disk into it to record all images and videos. it has two options how you can hook it up to a wall. you can do different night visions it has a siren. It has a light on it. You can talk through it. You can take photos. It’s awesome. I just started using it. I will edit my review once I get using it.

So I don’t normally leave reviews, however I read some bad reviews about this camera and figured I’d just give my honest opinion so far I have absolutely no complaints especially given the price of this camera is relatively cheap The picture is extremely clear no matter what time of day I have cameras that are twice the prices this one and you can’t see half as good at night time so it’s like everything else when something mass produced you’re gonna have cameras that don’t perform as well as others but all I have is a great price and would definitely recommend

Awesome little pro -kam I see negative reviews, I have no complaints Easy set up , so all pro kam buyers if your have problems with 4 hr battery use and want unlimited battery time just use your usb cord that comes with kam, and use I phone charger block plugged in near Wi-Fi for 24 hrs , you can unplug cord once the red charger lights goes off kam , meaning it’s all ready full charged it works for me don’t have to worry about battery drainage I leave plugged in leaving my home , out in the road I switch to 4g or 5g to check my home out for any activity it works I see my dog walking around kam detection, the ony issue I have is I don’t know how to add other I ordered ,need better instructions N/A kam support could plz walk me through for second set up , but other than Mr kam I Love it

It did arrive in reasonable time. The price was very reasonable as well for a camera with so many features that I’m still learning them. Overall it has the solar panel for charging so no need to worry about wiring. It is Wi Fi connected and as such can be viewed anywhere. The zoom feature is great as well. The movement feature that is controlled remotely is well appreciated with different sweep capabilities. It talked the micro cd that records all events and it comes with 3 days iCloud storage with option to buy more. It has options for choosing the picture quality but the basic HD is very sharp to enjoy. It has intercom capability with night vision in color and black and white. Very interesting camera to venture into its capabilities and I’m going to buy more for more security coverage.

Got one piece camera from Temu at a great price and so far it’s even better than my brand name doorbell camera. It has color, B/w, HD, and a great range of view plus options for alerts, sounds, motion detection, etc… ALL I was wanting, BUT the free trial ends tomorrow and I don’t believe in subscribing just to access what was built in so we will have to see what all is taken away. I planned to buy an SD card as an alternate to the subscription service. If it goes badly there will be a second review. If not, assume it’s a steal and you’ll be lucky to grab one.

I have been using OKAMPro for quite some time now and am very impressed. First, the camera itself was very easy to install. Second, OKAMPro was very simple and easy to use and watch the camera through. In addition, it can sense people walking even at a far distance and send a notification. And lastly it can keep the recordings on OKAMPro for an entire month! Anyways, I highly recommend this product and app and it will keep you and your home safe.

App interface is super simple and intuitive. Many options and features that are available and easily customizable. This beast has all the bells and whistles plus more functionality than I would have expected or imagined. Looooooong stable battery life and affordable storage options and album storage. Intercom and call feature are available. The accuracy of notifications are impressive and the quality of the picture and video quality are up to par.

I was looking for something to watch my horse at a stable with no WiFi close by. It uses solar and I buy cellular data which scared me “how much is this going to cost?” Then to my amazement my 6 gb of data lasted 6 months. Cheaper then my cell phone and watching my horse at 2am is hysterical. Better still is the customer service I received…. The camera stopped working once because it needed a firmware update and they were able to walk me through it on “what’s app”. This company is the best I’ve ever dealt with lately. I’ll buy another one from this company

Had some issues with the connection and our WiFi but once we got it connected, it worked very well. Great picture. Wonderful features. Great product overall.

I need to ask; is there any way to connect my cameras feed to my lg tv without a mile long cable being run from here to there and every where in between? I can view my feed fine on my iPhone but I’d like to view it from the tv if possible. Much appreciated if able to assist!

The camera is extremely important to us because we can keep our eyes on our children playing in the yard, and react faster to any situation. The video is clear and what I love about it is the color is so natural, and true to the real color. I’m not sure why I see so many negative comments. This is the first time my wife and I have ever ordered anything like this we ordered four cameras we had no problem with set up. They have a great feature where you can transfer the info from one phone to the other with no problem, the quality is very good for the price. The features are very good for the price. We got more than we expected for the low cost. Overall very happy.

This little camera is really nice. It was super simple to set up with the O-Kam app on my phone. Just plugged the camera in and followed the instructions, very easy. The picture is very clear, and there is only a slight delay. It is also easy to use OKAMPro to rotate the camera left and right, and up and down as well. I would recommend this for anywhere around the house, or yard, that you might need to keep an eye on things!
