REFUND MY MONEY! This game is a rip off and You Know it! You make us Watch ad after ad and it lies you into buying ad free, then after you pay for ad free they switch the amount of torpedoes you get per ship to a lesser amount so you have to see a commercial ad for every gameplay after you pay ad free to get enough torpedoes to finish each game!

if that ain’t enough, they then fool you into watching another ad for 5 more torpedoes to finish the game and after you have watched an ad for a minute and then instead of getting the five torpedoes that was promise for watching the ads, they only give you two torpedos and then I gotta watch yet another ad to get the same previously promised five torpedoes!

so to break it down, after you pay for ad free, you have to watch two ads per game!!!!! Then UboatAttack always locks up and you loose all work work and score points, it just stops running after a few ranks advancements, the game is a piece of junk designed to extort money and spam you with ads, and I want my my money back?

The game was being upgraded nicely then all of the sudden scoring doesn’t really correlate to what is being done. I can have multiple misses and have to add torpedoes and I go up 50 places. I kill 4 ships with 4 torpedoes all perfect hits and I drop 50 places. There is absolutely no rhyme or reason for how scoring works. Yesterday I worked up to #1 in level 6. This morning I was at 1000 in level 6 and still in the same session. It is getting too weird to keep playing and there is no motivation to keep trying because it feels like the score is preset before a single torpedo is fired. This has great graphics but it is all just random and has no real reason to be played anymore.

PS. I finally had no choice but delete it. I worked back up to #1 three times as the progress always disappeared. Last night I got to #1 again and this morning it said I was #1000 and demoted me. It really just isn’t worth it. It was fun at first but it is just too buggy to play anymore.

I was playing the game, and it is updated to the newest version, and it is frozen after reaching level 10. It is not the phone, everything else responds to touches. The latest update specifically says it is supposed to fix the level 10 freezing issue. I updated it after it froze, seeing an update was available when coming to write my review. As far as gameplay, it is pretty straight forward, and once you sink a ship or two, pretty boring as well. Only the ships you are shooting move, you don’t. So long as the periscope crosshairs are anywhere reasonably near your target, you will hit it. The periscope moves SLOW when scanning for targets and the only challenge is how many torpedoes to fire to sink a larger ship. Overall, a bit of fun for fifteen minutes, but combine the boring gameplay with UboatAttack not working, it is easy to delete, which I have done.

Edit: To the developer’s response. I have already updated the game. It still freezes.

I’ve played this game for a while… 4300 battles, do the math on how many adds I’ve watched!
I have used the original submarine, single torpedos and the deck gun on 99% of the battles. I have built all of the bases less the last one.
I found myself in the leagues, played through all 10 of them, went to #1 in all of them… started having issues in #7, the sight picture pan speed slowed significantly, went to setting for control speed and reset it to high, still slower than it was… also the game started freezing to where you would have back completely out and restart.
Had issues in #8 where you would work your way to #1, come back an hour or so latter and you are back down to #1000… worked my way back to the top to get to the next level… ended up in league #10, worked my way to #1, bumped back to #1000, worked my way back to #1 then ended up at #27 when the time ended for league #10… bumped back to #1000 with 48 hours to go in the game after #10 reset
I played maybe 4 more battles with it freezing every time where an add would be after the battle, I backed out and restarted as usual… now it won’t reload the game, the game loading indicator goes 1/2 way the freezes and fails to load the game… I’ve tried everything, restarting my phone, wait a few days, nothing.
I could delete the game and re-download it, however, I will loose everything as I have not purchased anything to restore if I select “restore purchases”… so, now what?!!!

Seriously, stay away from this game! It is virtually impossible to advance from level to level. It is full of scams to separate you from your money. The scoring is ridiculous once you enter the leagues… first the next promotion requires doubling the points required from the last level. You only average around 600 points per battle (often much less) and you have to go a million or two to the next level… do the math to see how often you actually get to upgrade. Then if you leave the game while in a league, you lose all of your progress and go to last place. Every battle starts off with an opportunity to view multiple ads in order to acquire extra capabilities. The game is solely focused on making as much money and showing as many ads as possible. Even if you pay the $5 for ad free use, they still push ads to the max. Look at the most recent reviews and count the number of 1 stars. Their rating is pretty high simply because they waited for a large player pool to be established with decent ratings… then they started pumping it full of bad programming (compass that swings backwards and glitches and impossible situations such as ships that can shoot through an island) and every battle forcing you to decline watching ads before you can proceed. Do yourself a favor and just leave this in UboatAttack Store.

Game freezes after a number of levels. Unable to reboot while loaded on Ipad. Had to start over and froze again after a number of levels. Poor game. Also, scenes become a bit redundant and repeat. Would be nice if there was some attacks by the ships and some type of strategy.

I’ve been playing this game for over two months now and it’s time to let it go. When it was new, there were a lot of bugs in it such as enemies shooting through mountains and misfires, just to name a couple. Another big problem was the ability to advance in leagues. You would get demoted for no apparent reason even while playing the game when it’s ending with anticipation of getting PROMOTED. Just when this appears to be fixed, I STILL can’t advance in leagues. I have well over 3500 games, with the Sapphire league coming to an end and I’m in first place, expecting to get advanced to Diamond. The end of the Sapphire league happens, and it says I just got promoted to SAPPHIRE league??? I’ve been stuck in Sapphire league for a week and I’m still stuck in it. Even though the “padlock” is now gone, I still can’t advance. Maybe when you finally care enough to work out the known bugs, I’ll then try it again. That’s if I haven’t totally forgotten about it by then. Developer, please listen to your complaints if you care about your game. Good luck in the future

After almost 2 years it’s time to say goodbye. Been reading your reviews because I was going to let you know what’s going on with this game.
Then I saw many people writing about the same problem I was having. Ship’s being able to shoot through mountains. Hitting 3 ships with “prefect” hits and losing points. Being in the #1 spot on a Tuesday night only to wake up Wednesday to see that I’m now at #997!!! So no advancement. In fact I lost ground. Should be at level 8, but I’m at level 6!!!
I read complaint after complaint and saw with some of them there was no answer. With others the same standard computerized answer for “Thank you for playing, if you’re having problems write to bla bla bla”
No one is reading this or any previous messages/reviews. Obviously you’ve made your money, why care what people think or what’s going on with your game.
So … sayonara. Will find something else to … what does it matter, you don’t care about your business.

I’ve had UboatAttack on my phone for sometime now and have generally enjoyed playing it but the cascade of changes the developer has done is pretty much killing that.

In the so called leagues, I had advanced all the way to the fifth tier, whatever that was, and wound up being demoted because I couldn’t get away from the 900s. Fair enough I thought, because it was incredibly tough. So I went to work on the next (4th) league and was advancing - I made it into the top 10 - but when that round ended and the next round began, here I was at 1000 again. Well shoot, I thought. So I did some research and it seemed that I hadn’t yet created an account, which I then did, thinking it would somehow save my progress. It did not. Then I started watching a few ads (of which there is no shortage in UboatAttack) thinking that might make the difference in saving my progress. I keep playing the game, I keep advancing to number one, and keep getting demoted because I’m magically at 1000 again when the round ends and the next one begins, as I was tonight after being number one earlier in the day.

It’s a first world problem, but iPhones and video games (like this one) are first world amenities. In the case of this game, I’m increasingly unimpressed.

The screen I have is vastly simplified from the ones show in UboatAttack Store. And where are the dozens of opponent ships? There are 5 maybe 6. And the game is tooo easy - the opponents never fire back. And they never really run away. I literally put the phone down for 20 minutes and the target was still in range and had not fought back

Very disappointing game

The latest release so full of bugs a professional exterminator would walk away. Flying torpedos, destroyers that shoot through an island mountain. No control for aiming… requires restart. Scoring that is ridiculous….. 1,000 battles, or more, to make the next level when you continually double the current level to make the next one (either increase the points awarded per battle or quit doubling the points required to advance from level to level). Can’t shoot airplanes during a torpedo battle. I paid $4.99 to eliminate ads, which it did, but not worth it if I can’t play for more than 3 or 4 minutes before UboatAttack goes crazy and I have to restart. Very frustrating. Please don’t ask me to send you a screen recording! It seems that is now your “go to” response for almost every complaint. If you can’t figure it out without a screen recording you probably shouldn’t be in the business. Besides, I don’t think a screen recording of the game not responding is really going to help…. It just looks like a long screen shot with no visual cues at all.

Very buggy as you need to restart a lot just to be able to aim or see your torpedo. The bonus level is anything but as you lose XP when playing. Speaking of XP, the rating system is totally bogus and doesn't correspond with how well you actually do. DO NOT PURCHASE UPGRADED SUB as this does little to nothing to improve the game. Also I got to level 61 and was somehow demoted by losing a star. They added a feature that has a burning skull warning you that a hard mission is next and then try to have you watch an add for more torpedoes. You start the mission and it turns out to be the easiest missions of all. Seriously, do they actually test and play the games they put out? The absolutely worst part is that they have ZERO app support to let them know the issues. You click on the support link from UboatAttack Store and it takes you to a marketing page for Voodoo that is trying to appeal to investors but there is no app support choice. They clearly do not care about the end user as we can help make them aware of issues to improve. They only want to look good for investors.

When an ad started in the middle of a game, I deleted UboatAttack .
Edit: I understand the need for ads to support free games however, I was in the middle of a game and I went to fire a torpedo. When I did so, an ad popped up and I was unable to get out of it until after the ad had finished.
This was only the third or fourth time I had played the game and decided that it wasn’t worth the aggravation so I deleted UboatAttack .
I do not know which ad it was.

This game is extremely boring there is almost no point to the upgrade system, you cannot tell when you able to shoot at aircraft, almost all ships sink with one shot, you physically cannot lose, and there are a ton of ads it’s extremely obvious that the point of this game is to farm ads. It’s extremely disappointing because this game could be really fun and cool but the creators don’t really care. If you really want to play this turn off your WiFi and don’t allow UboatAttack access to data.

This game might seem fun at first, but eventually you realize ever level is the same. Nothing gets harder, no need to upgrade anything and nothing shoots back. The only thing you are fighting against is a clock! I would not bother downloading, just a waist of your time!

Even though I’m on level 104, it’s no more difficult than level 4. Nothing shoots back. Your ship doesn’t move. You can’t dive. The ads are longer than each round. (Yes, I understand ads are how you get paid, but the ad can’t be longer than the game play.)

The anti-aircraft gun is interesting but there’s no indication of what will fire. Am I launching a torpedo or a shell? Also, once the ships sink, the round is over so you can’t try to down the planes after sinking the ships.

When I first started this game it was great. Just sink the ships and submarines in front of you. But after playing for a few months and getting over 600 missions it started a new competitiveness to the game. 10 different levels to move through.
I was doing pretty well until level 7. If I scored perfect hits it dropped my standings, even if I score perfect hits on all the ships. I could not understand it. But I kept playing.
The part that lead me to stop playing and delete the game was when I would be in ranked in the 200s and stopped playing. I would come back after a few hours only to find out my ranking was 1000, the bottom of the pack. This happened twice. I do not understand and there is nowhere I could find to read about this competition and how it is suppose to work exactly so I deleted it. Doubt if I will reinstall it.

It’s gets repetitive after a day or two of casual play with little variation. There is no increasing difficulty or risk. Upgrades don’t really do much. Also, while there are gun upgrades, and occasional flying targets, there is no gun control to use for them.

A mediocre arcade game in app platform. Ok for about 30 minutes but amy challenge quickly diminishes.

I stopped wasting my time at level 80. Same old same old. You can get points for shooting enhancements quick but the improved effectiveness of the weapons just ads to the boredom.

The aerial attacks are very infrequent and the controls for the gun dont work all the time.

All in all not worth the $5 i paid to play ad free.

Save your time and money.

The game is fun but you spend more time reviewing ads than actually playing the game. I get it you have to have ads but you play 10 seconds than watch ad for 30 every time you play,

UboatAttack needs to be a little bit more favoring towards the customer otherwise buying keys or coins to buy vaults is a total scam. You buy keys or coins, or earned them through battling as it may be and want to open up the safes to gain points to build your fleet you constantly receive ships that you have already completed over and over and over again more than ships that you do not have completed. this is a scam because for example, if you buy 2010 of them are useless to open safes because they only open to ships that you’ve already have completed to their highest maximum damage.. and it’s a total waste of time and money. once you complete and become a top admiral and become number one all you have to do is not play for one day and you’ll go back to the bottom which is another ridiculous thing especially for somebody with over 500 battles.. another aspects. It is a challenging game, but the developers are scammers.

Fun game from what I’ve played so far (3 levels) but the forced ads have killed my desire to continue. I’m usually ok with a moderate amount of ads cause I get that’s how they generate revenue, but this is way over the top. You finish a mission and an ad pops up. Ok that’s normal for so many games now. I would be ok with just that. You finish the 30-60 second ad and then you open the reward crate. Before you see what you got there’s another 30-60 second ad forced upon you. In my opinion if the ad time is equal to or greater than the game play then something is wrong. Forced ads should never be longer than the amount of time your physically playing the game. To be fair they do offer an option to have no ads for like $5 but I didn’t get far enough into the game to know if I want to pay that or not. I would be willing if it’s a good game I’m going to continue playing to support the developer but I couldn’t get far enough to decide that in this one. In short the forced ads caused me to delete this potentially good game I probably would have spent money on. Dev’s fix that and I would be willing to try it again and spend some money.

First, let me tell you about this game. It was fun at the start even though I didn’t purchase anything except for the ad free addition everything worked really well but now it seems like they’re getting money hungry and want you to buy because they’re putting things in place that do not allow you to get your rewards and I will just list them here.
1. Multiplying your award does not work. It always sends me off to a place where I don’t get credit at the five times I just get a white screen with options to purchase insurance or other things but never actually get the reward.
2. You get to a certain place on the leaderboard, and if you don’t continue to play, you lose your place on the leaderboard
3. Same goes for the game board they give you 15 fuel credits but if you stop playing it sets you to another place on the board where you have to use five fuel credits just to get back to where you were at.
This was a fun game for a while but now it’s just becoming a problem because you don’t get what you are playing for even if you’re not playing for money and you’re living within their parameters. It’s still not worth it. It’s just a waste of time.

I enjoy the game, for me it’s great to play in down time, I’m retired. It’s easy to control with minimal computer skills. However it would really be great if it would lock up every time instead of every other time after watching ads, even if you paid to stop watching them, oh never mind that didn’t work either! Is that something your developers figured out to put into this game or a flaw in the system? Are there going to ever be more than 25 port levels? How come the homing and triple torpedos only show up now and then? I believe your IT have some bugs to work out! For a free (after watching ads, even when I tried the pay for no ads) game I guess I should not complain however if you want to keep people playing and possibly paying later you need to fix it!

If you don't have patience to watch ads, then be prepared to spend money or do not think about downloading this game. You will end up spending more time watching ads than actually playing. You start by launching a mission. You get X number on torpedoes to complete the mission. You can get extras by watching an ad. Each ad takes at least 45 seconds to complete. They give you a timer that says 30 seconds, but it isn't accurate. After you select your torpedoes, you can get a random bonus aid like night vision and all you have to do is watch an ad. If you run out of ammo, an ad will get you more. If you're sunk, an ad will repair you. After the mission, you can multiply your winnings by watching an ad. You might as well choose to multiply them because you have to watch an ad even if you don't want to multiply them. After so many missions, you can get a special ammo box by watching an ad. Can you pass on the box? Nope. If you are willing to watch the ads, the actual game play is fun. The graphics are pretty good. If it wasn't this fun, it would have gotten one star.

This is great for practicing your timing for torpedo shots. It is frustrating that you have to watch a 30 second advertisement video after each 5-10 second battle. Run out of ammo, another 30 second video to refill although hard to imagine refilling your torpedoes in the middle of a battle.

In the upper levels the enemy boats start to shoot depth charges back at you. This adds a little excitement to the game except when a boat goes behind a mountain but can still throw those charges right through the mountain. Several times in levels 9 and above, you actually have to sit through two, sometimes three, videos before you can move on. And building your ports, you stop at 25 ports. Number 26 is still under construction. As I said before, it’s good for timing your shots but not much more.

Using enhanced weapons such as air attack, double torpedoes, maximum torpedo speed does not give consistent experience. One battle shows an increased score while the next gives a minus 100 score. Perfect shots sometimes are penalized.
I just played battle 605 and on one of the ships I destroyed the ship using only my anti aircraft gun. My score dropped over a hundred points. I felt I used more skill dispatching the enemy this way. I have completed 25 bases and my rank is 59, not the league rank. I was number one for leagues 1-3, then was forced to repeat 4 and I am in 5 now. I have enjoyed the game until all these quirks appeared. Even when I use no enhancements I am penalized. I will delete UboatAttack soon if these quirks continue, bad enough we have to repeatedly watch the same ads over and over again. I would rather just buy the game straight out.

I was working through the game, gold hammers, port storage and skip it’s were abundant and inexpensive. Then the gold hammers became a little harder to get. I have been working through the port storage and got up to level 400 (about 280,000 silver coins) and the next day the same level 400 is a paltry 44,000 coins! That is completely bogus! Your trying to get the silver coins to bolster your fleet (200,000 coins per click on the big locker) and now you have to play 5 times as long and all for just one locker of cards? If this isn’t fixed, I will be deleting the game! I buy skip it’s occasionally, weapon and new ships, but now it’s not worth the aggravation of clearing levels and playing the liberation and raid missions. You have to spend too much time and money to get what used to be almost free. Guys, restore the port storage and fix the card redundancy (for instance, I have several ships maxed out at 100, but I still get more of these cards! Cards I don’t need!), or many of us will stop playing and delete the game. Don’t pull the rug out from under us! Play fair!

I liked the armory as it was two days ago. But you changed it back to what it used to be. I was doing good on the ship cards and was enjoying the access to ships like the Nautilus, Zeppelin, HMS M1, Balao, and other ships. But now I can only get the basic four ships (and the balao if I spend 20 bucks. but I will not ). Can you please change it back? 🙏🙏. Also, I purchased the Hipper Cruiser. But after playing a round, I found that the levels were a bit “glitchy”and slow. I played this game on my dad’s phone. On it the cruiser was perfect. That was a couple of updates ago. Can you please fix that glitch? And also I really don’t like the new “Fire” button. (Okay, so it works But I Don’t Like It) can you please change it back?🙏🙏. Also, it is very hard for my cruiser to sink a patrol boat. Please fix this.

I played this game to level 86 before I couldn’t take it anymore. There was just no challenge. Graphics look pretty good and the game has potential. You can’t lose if a destroyer comes at you because it just sits there until you shoot a torpedo, again you can’t lose. One torpedo should not sink an aircraft carrier or destroyer but it does. Also there is no way to shoot the planes down however you can upgrade the guns.

This game is too easy. The upgrade system is valuable for the first few upgrades, but at some point, improvements in performance stop being noticeable. Ships just wait around to be shot. Examples: - Zoom tops out at 8x no matter if you keep upgrading it - Increasing torpedo damage didn’t actually result in needing fewer torpedoes to sink ships if not a perfect shot. - Torpedo speed stops increasing (which makes sense… torpedoes can’t be infinitely fast) - There’s no point to upgrade guns as you only get to use them for bonus missions Other problems… - Destroyers don’t react to other ships getting blown up, only when they are attacked directly - Airplanes never attack… what’s the point? - Ship movement is completely unrealistic as ships can’t just do a 180 and turn on a dime - Very little change in behavior of ships if torpedo detected and should at least turn parallel to path of torpedo to minimize broadside. - Perfect shots no longer result in an extra torpedo.
Additionally… The insignia for the rank should be Navy, not Army.

The torpedo inventory is useless sometimes. I’ll show 9 shots a available, shoot four, and then be prompted I’m out of torpedoes and see to watch a video ad to keep playing the level. Ad will be over, extra torpedoes added to my inventory. I’m now back to 9 or 10 in the counter. I fire one torpedo, and am AGAIN prompted that I am out and need to watch another video ad to keep playing.

Sometimes, I will sink the ships, but am prompted that I am out of torpedoes and have to watch a video ad to continue playing the level. When the ad is over, I’m back to an open ocean with zero targets, and no way to end the round. So, I exit the game and try again. Sometimes it takes three cycles of this to get beyond the broken level.

I’m also not sure what the various upgrades and building ports actually does in the game, as there isn’t much difference in gameplay.

I have fun with this game b/c it’s an easy diversion. A few issues though. 1) why can you sink a Cruiser with one torpedo, but need a couple to sink a Destroyer, which is a more lightly armored ship? They didn’t call them Tin Cans for nothing. 2) It’s not realistic that the ships keep moving at the same speed once they’ve been hit, especially if you strike them in the rudder area, they would lose a lot of maneuverability. It might be realistic that the larger ships might not lose as much speed or maneuverability, the smaller ships certainly would. 3) I already built the Yankee port, and have been on the next one after this for several rounds now, but there is no rectangular button showing in the lower right hand that will actually allow you to build it. 4. Some explanation of what “Main” means in the improvements you can make. 5. Why can’t you control the sub’s movement to get around on the other side of the hospital ship? Once after I hit the big ship behind it a couple times, the hospital ship went in front of it and never moved off of the ship. I fired torpedos out in front of it and the rear, to see if that would cause it to move, but nothing happened. Had to close UboatAttack and start over. 6. Finally, sub warfare is most often conducted against a complex convoy, not against battleships, Japanese aircraft carriers (Flattops). 7. Finally some increasing level of complexity would be nice.

It could be addictive, but the game has several glitches that need to be fixed. Also, no instructions or description on how to play. It’s like just a sub shooting at other ships. How do you attack the planes or use your periscope etc…. This could be a great game with a few changes as mentioned above.

The game is too repetitive even with purchase. It’s predictable. There should be a penalty for shooting civilian boats or cooler weapon upgrades. Allow for boats to leave so you must use the optics to shoot them. Just some thoughts

How long do you have to play this game before itAdvances to something other than three ships to blow up? I’ve been playing for sometime now and it’s getting kind of boring

More levels and greater complexity and variety would prompt me to purchase.

Other than that, you’re on the right track!

I’ve spent a lot of hours on the game, up to vice admiral. Didn’t play for a bit & now when I come back there’s only raids. There’s no place for me to upgrade my sub unless I buy one, you could advance thru the ranks by doing regular missions & then raids but now it’s only raids so leveling up is ridiculous. And before I could take down a ship in the higher levels with 2 perfect shots. Now it’s taking 4 or more hits. And the ads have gotten way out of hand, particularly the toon blast ad that constantly freezes the game & I have to wait for a day for it to unfreeze (or power down the phone & restart it). Sure I could pay to go ad free, which if it was truly ad free permanently I would maybe entertain. But it only buys tickets for a certain number of ads then you’re back to ad nausea again. And considering the number of ads per level you’d burn thru them quickly. I like this game, shame I can’t play it for long.

The most recent update gave a limit of how many torpedos you get for the match. There are matches that give you up to 17 torpedos for a target that only takes 1 to sink (other submarine and destroyer ships) however in matches that have target that take multiple hits to sink (cargo ships, merchant ships, battleship, and aircraft carriers) you are given maybe 5 torpedos to sink 3 merchant ships(merchant ships and cargo require minimum 2 torpedos to sink) and one destroyer. My torpedo damage is a level 38 which should do significant damage and only seems to increase the explosion cloud, if the level of damage doesn’t do much there should at least be a way to purchase and carry more torpedos with the battle stars you get after every level. Also ships sink way too fast for my liking there use to be a “sweet spot” that when you hit it the ships slowly sank which I liked it would be nice to see that come back. Game used to be my favorite game when without internet connection, but a lot of the updates over that last month and a half have made it become less fun.

Been playing for a day and have noticed some things that take away from it and bugs. Fun except now it loads an ad almost every chance it gets. I don’t mind the ads at the end of a round, but not at the beginning when you just watched one and certainly not during the round without any regard as to reason. Other Voodoo products out there have started this same tactic as well. Greed driven part of the company. Now to a bug:
The first bug I’ve found is when it says you’ve run out of ammo to finish the remaining targets, watch the ad for five more torpedoes, launch two to three of them and it then says you’ve run out of torpedoes again, you have to watch another ad again or restart even though it’s still showing ammo remaining that can be used. This is something that needs to be addressed.
Update to show what level of stats you need in order to successfully complete the match. I’ll burn out trying to play matches where I just upgraded only to find out I need to upgrade a few more times just to finish the match. If I have to do every single match, I’ll just quit playing this game and move to another that’s less cumbersome.

I’m guessing this is an early version and it will only get better. There are some glaring deficiencies but it’s still entertaining. It definitely needs a game tutorial of some sort it’s purely launch and figure it out as you go right now. It’s not complicated but still needs a “how to” menu. Why upgrade deck guns that are not available during the game? And what benefits are gained by building bases? Not to mention surfacing and submerging abilities or lack of. I do like the graphics and periscope views along with torpedo trajectories. I did spend the $4 for ad free gameplay which improve the experience a lot. There are still ads you can voluntarily watch for upgrade bonuses. I also see a large promotion for a premium Gato class submarine for $9.99. What exactly are you gaining by purchasing this? I really hope the VooDoo developers don’t abandon this project and keep tweaking and updating because it’s definitely fun but can be improved.

First of all, let me say that I really like this game and have stuck with it through many of the changes and updates over the last few months. It is much better than the first version I played. Recently, it has some weird quirks like the tracer of the torpedo shot is several degrees above the water and is not hitting the little PT boats. It took me a few levels to realize when planes show up during a regular mission, you have to select guns instead of which type of torpedo, once I discovered that, was delighted to be able to sink ships with the gun!!! Thanks for reducing the # of torpedoes to sink the 2 big ships.
I miss not being able to earn the other types of torpedoes. I’m well over 1400 missions in and it seems like nothing changes with progress. Would like to see the enemies become a bit more aggressive including the planes. Maybe the PT boats could shoot torpedoes back, and or when underwater the subs could also try to engage you.

Gameplay is good, but it’s nothing crazy to begin with. New update made the Home Screen nicer, not sure about how some of the awards at the end of each mission are calculated though.

Any chance of getting Zebra Station/Base/Area anytime soon…? I’ve racked up over 3M port points or whatever and I’m just getting closer and closer to Rank 18 and my 500th campaign with no sign of another base to build…

Also, what about adding some return fire from the planes? They just do slow loops around… kinda makes the bonus levels a little too easy. Or, maybe some sway to the crosshairs due to waves? I love the water animation and I’m glad that the crosshairs are dead-on, but a little sway, a little rocking could make it a little more challenging and fun.

Good start. Max upgraded everything within an hour. Levels seem to get redundant quickly. Might be cool if they could fire back too. Good start though

This is a fun game. Great graphics. My only complaint would be that at higher level‘s the game is not at all challenging. it could use more variation on the levels. But still a fun time!

How many times do I have to play the same level 1 before I can move to a dif screen? I do enjoy the game, I don’t mind the ads so much, as I want the extras to build up my boat

There are twice as of any ads now than before. In the middle of playing all of a sudden you run out of torpedoes and have to go into ads to buy them and then even after you buy them which is only five torpedoes it still doesn’t identify that you bought them and you have to go back to ads during gameplay. So with the extra ads, and the ads to have to buy torpedoes you have lost half of your game time play!!!!
I am DONE WITH THIS GAME.

Just for fun, time how long gameplay and how long ads are per game and see which ones come out to more! how many ads you have to watch per game for the amount of airtime you get on the game. It will blow your mind!!!!!!!

I love this game! It always stays interesting as it gradually increases in challenges. It lets you learn gradually as you play, and unlike many games, it never just lets you “hit a wall” and get stuck unable to progress. The only criticism I have is that without a tutorial, some fundamentals of the game are not clear. For example, the”Zoom” function in the Armory is a relative unknown. What does it do for you? My guess is that it governs the acceleration of the sub, but after upgrading a few times I’m still not sure. Still, I enjoy the game every time I play it. The graphics and game actions are beautifully designed!

Just would like to see it be a little more challenging.

This game needs serious improvement. I agree with all of the reviews. I paid for no ads and I have to spend half the time watching (or ignoring) them. For now I’m not interested in this game. I’m not going to delete it yet because it has potential to be at least a good time waster. I’ll check back from time to time to see if it gets the improvements to make it worth keeping. I gave it two stars because the graphics are pretty good.
UPDATE: ok now. When I got this on my iPhone it worked perfectly….. I uninstalled it on my iPad and restored my purchase and now it’s working perfectly also. Changed my review to five stars. The developers reached out to me also.

I have played Uboat Attack for quite awhile and enjoy it.
(1) Recently, there has been an addition of “Leagues.” The competition is good, but it would be appreciated if the developer would provide the scoring matrix for the games. It has happened many times where there are multiple ships sunk with perfect shots (and no extra shots needed), and yet there is a drop in the game ranking. However, the next play could be to sink ships with no perfect shots and the rise in the rankings. There is no way to strategize while playing, as it is impossible to know whether your play will cause a drop or rise in the rankings.
(2) Early on, it was possible to build ports as points were earned. The alphabetical ports were completed until “Z,” where the constant notation showing is “under construction.” Completion of the final port would be appreciated.

Been trying to get past level 10 for 5 weeks now, what am I doing or not doing. Almost ready to delete the game>

What a pile of shite this leagues are, was on league and league 8 got to number 1 and within 3/4 hours was back down to 900’s, did it again reached the top 2 hours later back again to 900’s, demoted to league 7 and the same is happening, as soon as reached 500’s within a couple hours again back down to 900’s. The game is ok but not worth the bother to Play it will now be removed

A couple of times playing league 8 I was on the top 10 only to find upon my return a couple of hours later to find myself back down to the 900’s. What??? Also we cannot message you from the game app itself. VERY POOR
