The app has an advert before connecting and an advert before disconnecting… but you can disconnect via iOS settings and avoid at least one advert.
The app only offered me one nearby country (fast connection) and one country far away (slow). When I used the smart connection feature, I was connected to a server in my country (fast). So, this VPN app (as currently written) is not going to let you pick from a list of 30+ countries that the app description mentions. Pick another VPN app if you need to connect to a specific country. There are several free VPN apps that offer a wide range of countries.
This VPN app doesn’t allow you to connect using the iOS app; other free VPN apps do.
