I was a paying subscriber for over a year, using this app exactly as advertised. Without warning, they restricted my access to number generation and told me to upgrade to restore service. After paying more for the annual plan, I was still blocked and prompted to upgrade again!

Their support refused to fix the issue and instead pushed me to Apple for a refund, proving they had no intention of honoring their service. This is false advertising, a bait-and-switch scam, and a complete waste of money.

Avoid Cloaked at all costs—do not fall for their deception.

I loved Cloaked, but for weeks now I’ve had to contact support because I can’t log in. If I didn’t keep my 1Password account, I feel like I’d be absolutely screwed. Every time I contact them I’m told that the team is going to look into it and if it doesn’t work in 24 hours to message again. So I’ve just been doing that over and over. Meanwhile I’m getting charged and they don’t want to refund me until they fix the error. Like…is this a scam? Now they want me to have a zoom call with an engineer. I work in software and I’ve never heard of such a thing. I wouldn’t trust this company with your data.

I have tried multiple ways to cancel my monthly subscription and still can’t figure out how to do it. They make it unnecessarily complicated. When you click on manage subscription, they make you sign back into the website with a different email that they provide and it’s apparently supposed to bring up another page. I have no idea what step comes after that because the page never comes up and none of their links regarding your subscription will work in Cloaked or on the website via mobile.

The service wasn’t able to accomplish what I had initially expected. I paid for the service to manage the amount of spam I receive in my email inbox. However, I get the same amount of spam and it’s been over a month since I created the account.

I liked the idea of Cloaked and was planning on moving away from password mangers to this service. I’m a paid member. I hadn’t logged in for a while so when I did come back, I couldn’t log in. this app lost my account! They could charge me for the service, but couldn’t find the account. Support reset it, but then I couldn’t read anything in it because the reset was different than the original account. Customer service was pathetic and wouldn’t do anything about the account mess. Canceled my service. This is how they treat paying customers, you don’t want to be one.

At first it seemed this app was handling the deletions but next thing I know I’m sending notes and forms and getting hundreds of emails. Not helpful. But what irritates me most and why I canceled is this: they said it takes about 45 days to fix. I’ve had a subscription since sept 2024 and took my name off of several databases as directed. They never scanned it again because today I was asked to take my name off—something I did in September. It wasn’t there as expected but neither was this app. Goodbye.

I’ve been using this app for about two years. I like the service itself as I found it. Useful in creating separate identities for different services. I ran into an issue where I need help with sending text messages. I’ve opened two tickets and for whatever reason, Support doesn’t close the loop with me and tell me exactly what’s happening And they close my support ticket. This is caused my opinion of the service to diminish. I’m hoping that Support will actually read this and take it seriously.

I think Cloaked is relatively easy to use however, there are some features that need to be moved around to make more sense for the user. The password manager is very basic. So many features and has not nearly as robust as the many other offerings on Cloaked Store. this app is also very slow to remove your information. Their indicators say 3 to 5 days but it’s going on a month now and they 30 items of those 30 items I had to initiate the removal myself for 20 of them. They are certainly not living up to the things they claim on their website.

But yet you have days of completion anywhere from 3 to 5 days deceptively giving people the impression that this app will QUICKLY remove their information. Shady and misleading!!!

The Privacy Policy states that they don’t share your data with anyone, but later on in the policy they say they share it with select 3rd party’s without disclosing who they are.

My only other complaint is that it doesn’t make clear whether it will find other email addresses you use and use that information to delete data associated with them.

Most people have multiple email accounts and therefore it’s unclear if we need to be able to provide that information to Cloaked to get the most benefit from the service.

Hey there, I’m having an issue where when I try to keep the messages and email in Cloaked , it automatically switches to forwarding. I’ve tried multiple times to switch it back, but it always returns back to forwarding. Is there anything I can do to fix it?

I really like the data removal part although I wish it was a bit faster and more effective. I really like the phone and email identity part except I wish I could make outgoing calls with the phone identity and send out emails and texts instead of just receive. I also wish that I could use the emails or phone number identities that I create as the usernames for services like discord or protonmail, etc but usually those services say the number or email won’t be accepted due to spam account/fraudulent activity concerns.

I really appreciate the services provided by your app, but there are a few issues that frustrate me. Firstly, Cloaked often signs me out on my phone, usually when I need to use it most, which is incredibly inconvenient. The process of re-downloading my information every time is time-consuming and frustrating. While I understand the need to re-sign in on desktop browsers, having to do so frequently on my phone feels unnecessary.
Additionally, Cloaked doesn’t allow me to add different logins for subdomains, which is a feature I find invaluable in alternatives like Dashlane. Improving these areas would significantly enhance the user experience.

this app provides peace of mind when signing up on websites, webinars and apps where you just aren’t sure how many lists your email or phone numbers will be shared with! It only takes a couple of seconds to generate a new identity that gives me the flexibility of choosing who I want to respond to and knowing I am not added to 40 more mailing and call lists.

The only negative I have encountered so far (hence the four stars) is that email addresses aren’t always accepted by some sites (eg. mgm) … but this may have been fixed recently.

I love everything about this app! It’s truly remarkable, and I wish I had it as soon as I had my first cell phone and email address. I can now sign up for everything I want without being scared of spam calls and annoying emails, as I can easily delete the email and phone number I shared with them. Voila, I don’t have to worry about spam calls from them for the rest of my phone number/email ’s life! Also, I get to know which company sold my information to spammers!

So it keeps my info private, keeps me in control, and keeps everything simple and easy! On top of everything, it was super easy to incorporate into my life as I didn’t really need to learn anything new. It integrates directly with my phone number and email so that my calls, texts, and emails continue to look the same as usual, and it helps keep all my emails and passwords safe and handy!

This is is a new app, so of course, there are minor issues here and there. So far, all of mine were resolved easily and the best part is that their team is incredible! They actually listen to your feedback and do their best to incorporate it in future updates!

The ability to have different phone numbers for different identities online and offline is a great idea. I’m heavily using it.

I don’t use it as a password manager though, since it doesn’t have a strong 2fa method to log into your account, like a Yubikey. Putting all my credentials in a place without such a strong 2fa is a risk I don’t want to take. So for now I’m mostly using it for phone numbers, but still have my password manager.

this app has been a great tool in my journey of cybersecurity and personal privacy. The ability to generate phone numbers has greatly cut down on spam calls and texts. I also love the data removal because it helped to ensure I’m less exposed to more spam and worse, identity theft. As privacy becomes about habits, I highly recommend making this a part of your digital pattern of life and protect yourself when signing up for new sites

If you’re at all conscious, concerned, or question your privacy while online… then you need to check out this app’s features! Privacy Identities for your online accounts giving you the ultimate layer of protection AND anonymity from your personal information! If you’re concerned about allowing your personal data to be swapped, traded, and sold - essentially making YOU a product be brokered then GET this app; after using it and beginning to properly privatize your personal information you’ll be thankful for having this app as your personal protection app.

Can’t say enough good things. Tremendous identity management service. Masks e-mails and phone calls for those risky, spam or just new accounts, sets up slick and intelligent forwarding. One improvement I’d like is to have access to identity history in case you change your email, but really nitpicky and probably more often a feature in practice to forget the history. This is by far one of the best app I’ve purchased in a long time. It removed 5,571 data resources. Selling my information. I went from getting 20-30 calls per day from scammers and sellers from everywhere. Got Cloaked and within approximately a month and a half to getting one call in two days. I sprung for the year long subscription best money spent on an all so far.

I’ve been using this software daily. It’s very useful in my situation. I encountered a technical issue that caused a data loss. But not like my previous experience with other developers that it would take days or even weeks for them to respond, this app’s support team contacted me in 20 minutes. After I reported the issue I saw a couple of app updates published within days, and I don’t see the issue happening again. I think it has been fixed. I recommend Cloaked, for its privacy-focused features and the very helpful support team.

this app is an absolute game changer. The ability to generate emails and phone numbers for specific accounts is intuitive, quick, and incredibly useful. I use this as a standard for any sign up. It makes the “old” method of simply generating email aliases through other platforms to get privacy esoteric. The ability to approve specific contacts for the ability to communicate with you through any specific this app sign up - truly another layer of security on top of the anonymity. Everyone should use this application to prevent privacy intrusions and further the fight against big data. Truly amazing and honest highest recommendation. Huzzah!
