UPDATE: This app is so very sketchy. Somehow the app starts running -- without user approval. Every time I invoke the Force Quit Applications menu, I see 'Balance' in the list. I force-quit the app and, later, it's running again. Yet another half-baked app by Moleskine. No keyboard control. Subscription-only pricing. Every row in the left panel looks the same -- so the user sees, at a glance, no indication of whether or not a date has events. Moleskine apps used to be great. Now it feels as if the company is slimy, spreading itself way too thin. Moleskine Balance is not a good buy, not a good app either. I recommend Perspectiva (iOS) instead.

I like the concept and I always love this studio’s products but the UI felt very childish to me in my opinion. It doesn’t really give me that Moleskine feel and look that I’m accustomed to. I hope they better the UI in the next update. It just felt like a disappointment to me no offense.
