You are “ asking “ me if I want to start a new version of Daily Crossword. You ask “ yes “ or “no”, When I say “ no” they immediately start me with a totally different game. It’s not even a crossword game puzzle. What are you people doing. I have no alternatives but to stop the Daily Crossword which I really enjoyed. You need to be more Customer friendly and let them play what they want to play. I’m sure no one will get back to me but I’m hoping others learn from this post. Listen to your customers. We do not want to change. Period! Are you listening. I’ve received nothing as a response from my last post.

The game was great, I played on my iPad for hours. Annoying ads, of course but, only in between the rounds. Unfortunately, the game called for an “update” so I complied, (like I had a choice). All the points I had accumulated were gone. Not to mention the ads popping up in the middle of the round? Are you joking? Deleted, from iPad. Continued on my iPhone that had not yet been messed up by the required update and here we go again, I couldn’t void it. Now there is a new and separate tab. That’s not an update! Did I mention it has me starting off and preschool level AGAIN and all pints lost AGAIN.

I made two purchases through WordMaker, never received what I paid for but the money has been taken from my account. I attempted to reach out for assistance with retrieving what I paid for but I’m unable because the support for WordMaker doesn’t work, it’s a scam ! The phone number to contact is forwarded to someone personal cell phone, when selecting email it doesn’t take you to the link to file a complaint, Currently trying to get a refund through Apple. Don’t purchase anything from them !

Was enjoying playing Word Connect — until tonite when you gave me the option to ‘update’. When you choose either ‘yes’ or ‘no’ you are re routed to a new screen for a completely different game. No further mention of the ‘update to Word Connect’—or any way to continue playing. You’ve lost me for good w your sneaky tactics and I am will spread the word about this. I have many friends who USED to play ‘Word Connect’.

I followed through updating Word Connect to the new version only to find out it’s a completely different app which does not accept my previous history! I have over 400K points from the years of playing this game😢. I cannot go back to the version that I want to play. Very poor idea. I’m moving on…

I was in the older version and was up pretty high using 7 letter words. Your program required an update. I did the update and saw that I lost all my progress and had to start over. I hate that. Then I started again and was up to four letter words when you said I had a required update again. I couldn’t get around it. Sure enough, I had to start over again. I now hate this game.

In the last hour I have had to reboot my phone 4 times in order to “unfreeze “ the game. Not what I signed up for and your upgrades have not fixed that problem for over a year!! Also the ads now go from 30 seconds to additional 30 seconds for up to 3 times in ONE ad. You apparently care more about the money from the ads. That’s it….. I’m deleting your app.

Hi just wanted to do my Daily Crossword thing and the next thing you know it’s telling me there’s an updated version and it’s not letting me do anything but choose to get the updated version but it’s completely wiped out my crossword puzzle and it’s wanting me to start over thanks a lot you guys I hate this game I hate WordMaker I hate it I hate it I hate it I hate it I hate it!!!

I have played Wordscapes since it came out and had rocked up quite a few points and various other tools to help me play, especially in tournaments. I understand that you want to upgrade, but highly upset that all of my previous gameplay just disappeared! I am not very happy with this and will probably not be playing word maker. Why would I want to start over, after being on level 9200 in Wordscapes?

I love this game, and have been successful. But now it’s locked me out. I get to the home page where the play > button should be, but it never shows up. Maybe I’ve been too successful? I’m playing across three different apple products, my main playing product being my iPad mini. I don’t want to delete, because I will lose the 30,000 + coins I have earned. Seriously flawed program.

I have been playing this game for a long time, and I always got 100 points when I completed a puzzle. I really enjoyed playing it. However this week, no more points were awarded after completing a puzzle. I played for several days because I assumed it would be a glitch that would be corrected, but that didn’t happen. I lost interest when I couldn’t earn any points for completing a puzzle.

Love this it keeps my mind going and new words to spell. But I deposited once when I first started never got my coins. Thought maybe I will get them after a restart never did. I just deposited again and never got my coins. I know 2.99 isn’t much but that 2.99 is 1/2 a gallon of gas that’s a few miles to work. Watch out if you buy coins you don’t get what they take from you.

I Loved WordMaker and played it daily. Until the last update this past week. Before you would only get ads between sets, levels, whatever you want to call it. Now ads pop up about every 3-4 tries within the set, level, whatever. So while trying to play one set you can get stuck watching ads 4-5 times. Depending on the number of words to find. Will no longer be playing this. Which is a shame because I did enjoy the word challenges.

I was forced to download the new version. I played for a while & do NOT like it as much. I tried to play the old game & can’t anymore! Giving it two stars simply because it’s similar. But I really miss the old feature of being able to add extra words that weren’t part of the puzzle. I will likely never play this game anymore & play other things instead. Why can’t some things remain the same??

Love the premise and I use WordMaker every day, however, it has one big problem. Almost every time I play it the game stalls and is unusable. Sometimes closing it out and restarting gets it working, but a lot of the time it does not. It is very frustrating and am considering dropping WordMaker.

If you don’t stop forcing us to remain on an ad for a needlessly unreasonable amount of time, then I’m just going to delete WordMaker because it isn’t any fun playing anymore. The phone literally goes to Lock Screen while I’m stuck viewing an ad without an x or close button ever appearing! I have to close them app and reopen it again in order to continue playing. But of course then I lose whatever coins were accumulated on the last play.

By definition this is how the words that are accepted on WordMaker are chosen. Plural today but not later today? Okay! Uncommon word that are still used today? Forgetaboutit! Biblical? Absolutely. Other mythology? Only if hades freezes over. I figure I find at least 10 real words a day this game doesn’t accept, that’s 9 too many.

As I said, bad with a capital B-A-D. In fact, the only thing that good about it is that it has prizes and it’s relaxing. And it just ends there. One reason is that sometimes it’s really slow and some of the letters that I put turn black and it scares me. Some of them, I just have to connect it with another word and it turns white again. Others… they just stay black until I complete the level. And the ads! AGAIN WITH THE ADS 😡🤬(I hate the ads) Just please PLEASE fix it. If you fix it I will give a better rating. Thank you. 🙏😊 I would really appreciate it. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜💗🏳️‍🌈

The game is fun, however, I am very bothered by the "royal match "ads that permeate WordMaker, they are creepy and the aim looks sadistic, are they trying to burn the king up or drown him, really? When these come up, I just put the phone down and wait till they're done, the actors that are getting paid to push this game are truly just acting I wish that I could somehow delete that ad because I'm on the verge of deleting the game.

The format changed a little over a week ago. You don’t get any points that you can use when you have completed the puzzle. Furthermore, all the noise when you go to the next game is annoying.

I should have checked the reviews before buying. Paid the $6 to eliminate ads which seemed like a steal, only to find out that there is still a banner ad at the bottom of the screen which covers part of the letter wheel making it difficult to complete words. I want my money back.

I play this game because it makes me think and is relaxing. The pop up ads, interruptions of play during a sequence, etc is frustrating. Today I went to play and it asked if I wanted to update. I replied no and it would not get remove the question. I replied yes and it made me reload the fame but it refuses to download the game. Now I cannot play at all. You will lose customers like this.

I like the game but I’m not paying a third 5.95 because they want to update again. Tried to reach their customer service, asked two questions and only received a bad answer on a game issue and did not address the second billing. No notice of the charge, I had to find it on my Apple account.

There are times when squares are smaller than the other ones and game is slow at times when this happens. Also I’ll restart game and I can do anything but play the game. I touch play button and it turns a lighter gray but want go to game screen. If problem isn’t fixed I’m going to delete. It’s sad to get so far and then all of a sudden can’t play.. very disappointing

Word Maker is fun in the beginning. But around level 150 it starts using foreign language words. The most annoying thing is that every few minutes it interrupts the game with 30 second ads. It’s alright to see an ad after you complete a level. 5 and 15 seconds ads are okay but I just shut down the game when the 30 second ads come on frequently. I finally deleted the game from my phone as it was getting to be unbearable.

I haven’t been able to play word maker since the update around 16 December. The game will open, but there are no puzzles to select. I’ve waited because I figured you guys would know this happened and get it fixed but so far I still can’t play the game. Thank you.

The games are ok. There are just too many ads after every game. Now, they are interrupting my game.

I also think that there are way too many games for each state. I’ll never get to the west coast at this rate. I’ve been playing for about six months. Getting tired….

I loved playing this game and was in 475 levels. It forced me to download the new version at set it back to level 1. I don’t to start back at level 1 and redo it all.

I’m very good at this game. I find a lot of bonus words. Bonus words are supposed to count as more money. However, the bonus words are never applied to the game and I never get any bonus money for finding bonus words. Time and effort goes into finding them. It would be nice to be rewarded for it. I only get the defaulted 25 points after finishing each round. Please fix!

It’s better than a lot of apps because the ads are quick and the game is fast paced. It’s super easy though but a good distraction when I’m bored. A couple of the ads will freeze up WordMaker though and you have to exit to get back in.

I was forced to upgrade to this game after I had completed all levels of another word game. It gave me no choice. That aside I enjoy this game with one exception. After completing about 3 rounds it starts to slow down and screen freezes etc. I don’t have this problem with any other game I play on my iPhone. 🤬

I gave you 5 stars before you changed everything! I played this game everyday over & over. I was hooked on it. Now I never use lay it because you can’t get enough points to fill any of it in. I am seriously disappointed.
I go back to keep trying thinking you may have realized that was a mistake. Apparently not !!

This city (Savannah) has the worst background. The whiteness of the water makes it hard to see squares. I just spent 10 min trying to find a 3-letter word with 2 letters revealed & when I gave up & had a letter filled in I discovered it was a four letter word. Mostly love this game but this background is driving me crazy!!

I love this game! Challenging and not too many ads. But it still freezes while I’m putting letters together!

I’ve enjoyed playing this game - almost addictive — but I got to Tennessee and can’t get any more levels to load — would love to continue playing

I like word apps and this one is good because it has fewer ads.

The downside is that the variety of words for each puzzle is a fraction of what could fit in the squares. It would be good to have a wider, more expansive vocabulary. Thanks

So I got this game thinking that it would be a fun game to play in the summer to energize my Brian and it does but whenever I leave the game it’s like I never played before so I have to play nonstop in-order to keep playing

I got to 7/14 Roack Bluff and now nothing….. when I click, I get the fireworks and then blank ( small square) screen. What happens now?

As the title says, I enjoyEd the game. Yesterday it quit giving me the link to open the game. I guess I played it all the way through to its end in Tennessee. Ashamed as I am from Texas. Lol

I loved Word Trip, and had 118 days straight. Will i still have countries to explore? What happens to my cumulative days and points? Idon’t like the idea of starting over.

There is much to many advertising for other games and it is very annoying,makes me want to Quit playing……..

When updating to the newest version, I lost all of the progress I made. I was all the way to where only 3.01% were able to solve the puzzle

I just downloaded the updated version and so far so good. I like that the amount of coins has increased and like the fun things in between such as spinning the wheel. We’ll see how it goes once I get to the different levels. 😉
