Here are some helpful workarounds that should work whenever METAR app keeps crashing or doesn't work as expected on your iPhone 14, 13,12,10,8,7,6, SE,XS,XR.

How to fix METAR app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the METAR app on iPhone
Update METAR app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall METAR iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix METAR on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve METAR network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, Goto "Settings" » "General" » "Reset" » "Reset Network Settings".
2. Enter your device passcode. Then confirm "Reset Network Settings".

Turn off your VPN:
1. Goto "Settings" » "General" » "VPN".

METAR Android App Issues and Solutions

Fix METAR not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Follow these steps to resolve intermittent METAR app issues:

Force Stop the METAR App
1. On android, goto "Settings" » click METAR app. » click "Force Stop".

Update METAR to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear METAR App Cache and Data:
1. On your device, goto "Settings" » click "Apps" » select "METAR app" » click "Storage" » click "Clear Data" option. This Clears both data and cache.
2. Relaunch METAR.

Fix METAR unable to contact server/ METAR internet connection errors on Android:

This issue is usually caused by your network. Here is how to fix:

On android, goto "Settings" » "Apps" or "Manage Apps" tab.
Click METAR » "Force Stop".
Next, goto "Storage" » "Clear Data".
Again, got METAR » "Mobile Data" » "Allow Background Data Usage".
Go back to "Settings" » "Connections" » "Mobile Network" » "Network Mode".
Now, put your network on 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch METAR on android.
