I would give it 5 stars if it weren’t for this ONE little thing that completely ruins it. It’s really high quality, except ONE thing - it’s always COMPLETELY out of sync.
If I try to convert any of the videos to a GIF it just says processing and doesn’t do anything. Video grab and editing work great though.
Update since my iPad was updated around Dec 1, 2024 AwesomeScreenRecorder no longer works.
AwesomeScreenRecorder is a great one and I’ve been using it for a while. The only problem that makes it a 1 star is the audio and words don’t line up together. The thing I’m recording either the video is delayed from the audio or the audio is going faster than the video.
Since I discovered this screen recording application, it has worked out in a great way, because I have been able to recover and save important parts in terms of live cameras of animals. It has been a success, because in addition to following something that I like, I can keep a part that I liked or caught my attention. I write this review, because at the moment, the application stops working properly and is left with the word cancel in blue on the box above. I wonder if eventually, there are update plans that solve the problem? Thank you in advance for the answer.
I use it about once a week to capture pieces of videos I like.
The option of compressing the videos is also very useful.
It’s difficult to specify where to trim the clips, tho.
How about show the time where the trimming will be done?
Cropping a video doesn’t seem to shrink the amount of storage it takes. Odd.

Most of the time AwesomeScreenRecorder works perfectly. But sometime, I will take a full video, and it just disappears. The message will pop up at the top of the screen, and I’ll click on it, but the video won’t be there. I can’t figure out what is causing this problem because I still have plenty of storage.
Ok so I am a YouTuber and this is a great app but importing takes a while
It’s very good and you don’t have to pay anything. The only thing that is a problem is that it sometimes deletes a video and I think that’s on me because I might go into it to fast and it dosent load or something but it’s very good and the quality is good aswell
For free it’s works great! I mean not like super higher quality like the ones with money but for being free I’d say it’s a great deal. Few glitches, sometimes doesn’t work but that’s the only complains from me. Definitely try to out

So far so good. I had to download another app to edit, and save to my photos, though.
This program works great with some very useful editing tools.
It was going great until I paused for a second and it said deleted attempt of fake broadcast and it stoped my video half way through that took a hour.
