Inappropriate clothing on Eve

I allowed our son to download TruPlayChristianGames due to it being a Christian based gaming app.. And much to my surprise when he opened TruPlayChristianGames to play some games I saw the game “stained glass” on the main page with “Eve” on the main photo looking like a Kim Kardashian sister and something she’d wear to a Halloween party with her under side breast showing in her tunic… First of all shame on you for allowing that to be approved and to whoever designed Eve.. I thought this was a safe space for me to allow my kid to play some games without having to worry about him seeing that. I guess even a Christian gaming app can’t keep him from the modern age where I guess less is more and women/girls do not wear appropriate clothes.

Making money off God Stuff

I like that you did TruPlayChristianGames for kids but charging people to play Christian games is not ok, Probably have in ads who can support your game and you make funds that way or add in game purchases but just starting and charging people is not good it’s why so many people will not pay for it; in this time peoples finances aren’t that great, you should reconsider your prices and don’t make this a money thing want more children to play your games I would change it up. when y’all change it I will change the review.

Purchased a month subscription and it won’t work

Great game for the first week free; however once it charged my card it will not link up and work. Can’t play any of the games, it says subscription required, I press on restore purchases, and nothing works. I’ve deleted and redownloaded. It said when I redownloaded that it looks like my device is already linked to a subscription. Sign in, and same thing. Can’t play any games because it says subscription is required. GRR. Frustrating. I hope you can fix this issue, your games were very fun.

Didn’t work

The first two games didn’t work. The play button didn’t work on the Ava one. The lion sword word one would go straight to a black screen after loading. The next game I tried to help my son with was the little flame. Far too hard for him. Would’ve been nice if the scripture at the beginning of each try was narrated audibly, as he can’t read yet. The last we tried was the leap of faith one. No scripture or godly narrative/correlation being narrated to the bug jumping up the branches. Maybe I’ll give it a try in the future once some of the bugs and glitches are addressed. I don’t want my son playing inappropriate games so this seemed awesome. I just don’t want to have to sit here and read him everything on screen as I was hoping he could independently get into gods word in a way.

Love the idea BUT….

Love the idea but there needs to be a lite version to try for free. I’m not going to subscribe just to try something, even if it does come with a 7-day free trial. Show me it’s worth having first. I was interested in checking it out, but I don’t know if it’s mature enough for my 12 year old to enjoy, if it’s well-done, or if it’s a good mix of fun & learning. Try offering a lite version with payment for further engagement & you’ll probably pull in more customers IF the product is really good.

Surprise!

I heard about TruPlayChristianGames on TBN news so I wanted to try it. Once I got on it I found out it is not free. I think the description needs to be honest and let whoever downloads it know that there is a $70 annual subscription rate. The games might be beautiful and edifying but I really don't like how there was nothing in the description in TruPlayChristianGames Store telling me I had to pay money first and how much I would have to pay. At least if people know ahead of time they can decide if they can afford it. Just don't surprise us with a bill!

It is very boring but maybe little kids would like it.

I am not completely against it. It’s just a little boring for when you hit the age of 10. Also, it doesn’t let you change your characters look, which is very annoying because that’s the only reason I bought it. wish they had more content and it was a little annoying. They have these little clips of one big story, which I find very boring. 🥱 would recommend if you had a child maybe five or seven. But if you have an older kid looking for a Christian app, this is not the one. Nothing wrong with the content. Just boring. No ads which is good. My family does not like ads, but would add more games and other actually fun stuff like maybe events. But it is not a terrible game. There’s nothing inappropriate and no bad language. it teaches very well. No worries for parents.

Enjoy but There are still bugs to work out

Some of the games are not working properly. My 10 year son and I enjoy playing the games but it gets frustrating when certain games do not work as they should or the game glitches. Noah’s elephant in the room(the worst one), Oliver and the vindictive vines, King David’s battle, and Stained glass all of these we have had some problems at some point in the games.

Love the games

My family really loves these games. I have one complaint. Stained glass is great and I enjoy the challenge of it. Level 8 on Sarah is very difficult and it took over 150 times for me to finally pass it. It’s possible but may need some adjustments I don’t know if that’s possible. But we enjoy the games a lot!

Good intentions

My son is 4 and these games were all too hard for him to understand how to play. My daughter is 10 and she wasn’t interested in the material.
I also had trouble with it loading unless we are home on our WiFi.
I know you have good intentions with this gaming app! May God bless your journey forwards.

Needs More Toddler Games

I love the concept of TruPlayChristianGames; however, it is definitely geared towards older kids that are fluent in reading and comprehension. I would appreciate more toddler game options and I would love an optional feature where there is an option for directions to be read to the player in all of the games. I love that there is scripture in the games and a positive theme in each of the games. Please, please, please add more age appropriate games for toddlers and early elementary.

Great concept and kids enjoy! But needs it WiFi to work :/

My kids (5&7) LOVE these games and comics. They even prefer them to their console games! And I get comfort knowing they're learning biblical lessons. Some complaints though: Some of the games can be occasionally glitchy on certain levels. Which is frustrating for a 5 year old who wants to beat the boss. TruPlayChristianGames doesn't work without WiFi. That's annoying since most of our screen time is on road trips and on airplanes. Another totally nit-picky complaint: TruPlayChristianGames also only works one horizontal direction. In other words I can't turn the iPad 180 degrees (say for charging cord length purposes) because the screen won't flip with it. Most game apps flip with the iPad.
Over all AWESOME app! Just needs some tweaks :)

Grateful.

I can’t say how grateful I am that TruPlayChristianGames exists. As a mother to an 11 year old with a very creative mind, its all I can do to try and introduce him to entertainment that kids his age enjoy while still being connected to Christ. I asked him to try these games and unsurprisingly, he was reluctant and annoyed. But now I find him playing it all the time, and he admitted to me he really likes it. Thank you for helping a mother keep her son engaged in God’s message!

(Also, please please please consider making an interactive math and reading game as well!)

Wholesome Quality Games

As a long time gaming advocate, I saw mention of this collection on the news and wanted to see if it actually contained quality games. I was pleasantly surprised with how well developed they were. This service makes me smile knowing kids have something wholesome to experience that even as an adult, I enjoy playing.

Beautiful app

TruPlayChristianGames games and stories are beautiful. There are a few glitches like story videos going dark during playing and some screens not having a way to go back, but overall very good. My suggestion to the developer would be to add more 5 year old simple games and to have a robust release schedule to keep the value going. Overall, great job!

Level design is amazing

I’ve been playing games since I was a kid and I still enjoy these types of games to play on my phone. The level design is great, still gives me that feel of being a kid while still being new and engaging. Keep it up!

Maybe a slightly longer free trial

My granddaughter (11) was very interested in this, so we installed it, but once the free trial was over I wasn’t able to make a subscription. Maybe to help more kids be able to play more in tight money or struggling households, you could slightly extend the trial. I under stand that you need to have money, and my granddaughter is getting her allowance soon. May the Lord bless you! :)

Love it!

We just download this game. My kids and I love it! My daughter said when she is playing the game she feels safe and she doesn’t want to go to the other games with ads. Thank you for creating a safe place to play games while spending time with God. I have one question, with the Maple and words of the Forest game are there more chapters than 1 and 2. We were really enjoying this game but can’t see any more chapters to continue. Thank you !

Kids love it!

My four grandkids and I sat on the couch together for an hour while they each explored the games on their own devices. They range in ages from 4 to 11 and they all found something they really enjoyed. There were giggles and “oooooh! I’m in the leaderboard!” Great job, TruPlay!

My family loves these games!

First, love the value for what we pay for these quality games, (ps if you aren’t paying for the product, then YOU are the product. I’m okay with being marketed to myself, but I’m more than happy to pay so that my kids aren’t getting ads on games.)

I’m a lifelong gamer and I of course enjoy the variety but my bio kids are just getting into games and they love getting to have iPad time whether they’re reading the stories, coloring or playing the games!

We are also a foster family and our current bonus kiddos came with plenty of screen time exposure, especially Roblox. After 10 minutes of Truplay we said they could go back to Roblox if they wanted but we were amazed when not even 10 minutes later they chose to come back to Truplay instead! Thank you for the work you all are doing, may it continue and contribute to changing eternities while it’s also collaborating in transforming our day to day!
