I've used this less than 24 hours, and I can already think of mor than a dozen changes that TaskFlow needs to make it even decent to use.
This is a great list if you have simple projects. If you have any reptitive tasks or if you like to keep your meetings in your tasks area, this will not work at all.
It's good for lists, but it fails as a way to manage your work day.
I like TaskFlow a lot. But one thing is missing is that I cannot create subfolders in my projects. So I have to creating projects and it’s looking very cluttered and have to scroll a lot. I wish I was able to create categories then create projects in them. Over all, good app.
One thing that would make TaskFlow better is if the subtask didn't open a new window. If you just click the task and it shows the subtask, it'll have a more neat/clean experience. multiple windows and things popping up can seem chaotic.
It would also be nice if you could simply drage sections and task around without having to click additional buttons.
It keeps improving with every update, syncs using CloudKit (iCloud), drag and drop emails to create tasks, subtasks, recurring tasks, reminders, attachments (including documents and PDFs) and everything you want in a kanban. Love the iOS versions too.
Just a couple of issues:
1. I wish we can control which project launches at launch. The developers gave us a chice to keep the window size we last used when we close TaskFlow , why not the same for the peroject? There is essentially one project that I work with at the office, and dont like getting the this app window every time I launch TaskFlow .
2. Same issue when creating a widget on MacOS 14 (sonoma). I like to be able to set the widget so it displays a specific list (like doing or up next, for example) from a specific project.
I love TaskFlow. Feel smooth and works as advertised. The simplistic look and feel is a nice touch. Settings menu is nice and straight forward. TaskFlow will definitely help you stay on track and be more productive. A couple features I would love to see. 1. The ability to set a time on certain tasks. Currently you can pick the day but not the time. 2. Natural language support to create tasks with the day and time would be a nice added touch to what is already a well made app. Great work by the dev. Looking forward to future updates.
I can’t believe how life changing TaskFlow is. I’ve tried every app
to help me stay on task and this is superior to any I’ve found for my ADHD brain. TaskFlow flows how my brain does!
Probably the closest to what I’ve been looking for since for ever as far as task management apps!
Make sure to learn all its features so you can take advantage of it all, it’s great!!
The sidebar should leverage the top-bar and bottom bar appearances, so when content is underneath the horizontal divider will fade in.
The plus button being on the top-right in catalyst feels odd. Is that the OS convention? I think Notes and Mail stick it on the left.
Would love a watch complication so I could have daily reminders there. (This would allow me to replace the Things app)
Would love to share a project with a family memory via iCloud sharing.
I am just getting started, but after exploring every nook and cranny TaskFlow has to offer, I am confident in my prediction that this will be hands down one of — if not the absolute — best app I will ever have the privilege of utilizing. Bravo! & Thanks. ♡
Fantastic App. I've been using the Task Flowj for almost a year now. I've tried several of the other top apps and Task Flow has topped them all. I highly recommend you try it.
TaskFlow has been instrumental in getting me more organized and the Task Flow support team was so quick and patient with me about an issue that turned out to have nothing to do with TaskFlow itself!
Over the (many!) years, I have tried them all. This is the first one I have ever totally liked. It does not force you into any methodology, or workflow; very flexible. Really nice UI, matter of fact, outstanding!
Need to be able to time stamp every entry in any given task or subtask to keep track of progress in a given task. Have not found a way to archive projects. Team has been responsive in answering my questions.
I been using Task Flow since the beginning and I have to say with the amount of updates this has received as well as implementing new technologies I absolutely love it (Having Vision Pro Support at launch, Apple Intelligence features, etc). Vlad keep doing what you’re doing! 😊
I swear I have been waiting and looking for TaskFlow forever and I am so glad i finally found it!! It has been so hard to find a fully functional to do list app that lets you pull the tasks of the day into one CUSTOMIZABLE and RE-ORDERABLE list. Brilliant. The Task Flow feature is amazing. Thank you so much, TaskFlow is helping me really finally get a hold of my life and goals!!
TaskFlow is pleasant to use and feels right at home across all platforms. I enjoy the separation of task flow and focus along with having different projects. It fits quite well into my workflow. Plus, the developer is active in taking feedback and improving the application. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new task manager for any of their Apple Devices.
I like that a list can be a sectioned list or kanban. I like to SEE my tasks all at once and move them from context to context as needed through the day. I like that I have control of the names, number, and order of sections. I like that a task can be inside more than one project simulaneously. Syncing between MacOS and ios seems to work well. I liked it enough after 24 hours to upgrade to lifetime membership. Looking forward to clearing my to-do list chaos with Task Flow.
I have been looking for a good app for just highschool classes and this is the best one ever! It helps to keep everything orgnized and i love the notes fiture on it because I can put a comment that I need or even a list or something like that! TaskFlow is really amazing and not super complecated to use! Most of the apps out there are very complecated to use and it would take me forever to figure out how to use it! Also it connects across every device which is amazing and it updates imeditley which is super helpful to me!
for the first time ever i feel inspired and motivated to prepare a daily checklist of tasks
