BUD - Create, Play & Hangout Reviews

This game is pretty fun, but is clearly in beta and has a lot of kinks to work out. For one, servers. Oftentimes I will end up in a server where nobody speaks english and I can’t communicate with people. Two, creating and viewing your creations. I created an outfit and I can’t even see it / figure out how to see it. Their is a lack of emotes for certain objects, and the controls themselves are not very good. Most of the time, games with joystick controls allow for small mistakes and just move the joystick to where your thumb is. Not this app. Another thing with that is no real way to control walking or running, and instead if you are walking for a while it turns into running. This is very inconvenient. The layout of BUD itself is confusing and hard to navigate, with complex ways to do simple tasks. Going back to custom outfits, the only option is creating a long sleeve and pants, despite the original customization menu having dresses and robes. That is hopefully something being added. The game has some pros, but this review is long enough. It has potential, but it isn’t quite there yet.

I love the concept of the game. You can make your own worlds, 3D design your own props, and visit your friends worlds as well. Of Course there are more updates to come, I would suggest maybe fixing the feed? The this app official account is the only account that posts, which i find unbelievable because there are definitely people who play the game, I have posted as well but it seems like maybe people's posts are hidden or something..? I also am wondering how you can use your own props? They aren't in my library, maybe having a button for "Your Props" would be helpful, but even so, the props I have made and published I can't find or use. Another Suggestion would be to have a "sit" interaction you can place on props while in world edit, so you can sit in chairs beds and benches. Anyway! I like the game, can't wait for it to grow more so more people creat more worlds and we can make more friends, I'm Flipflopfizzle so check out my first experience I made lol ❤️

App suggestions that I think would make BUD more entertaining and fun!

- adding in servers for players to join in the worlds, + bigger servers

- knowing whenever the people you friended are online & offline

- being able to join your friends whenever they are online!

- adding mini games into BUD , like murder mystery, color party, or quiz games!

- adding in starter maps

- adding more customization in the avatar settings! (Hair, colors, more clothing, more accessories, etc!)

- let players be able to automatically sit in chairs and be able to eat foods while in the worlds.

- more emotes (like different types of dances for example)

- adding a proper chat box for players, (so if they missed a message while chatting with someone they can go to the chat and look back on it.)

*cause while now, while chatting with players in worlds, the text disappears after a few seconds*

Overall, I really do love your app, it’s like a mix of roblox and animal crossing, some may say BUD is a rip off of both of those popular games, but BUD is very nice, and most of the people that play on BUD are so chill! Such a nice community!

I hope to see BUD grow more in the future!!

There's really hardly any accessories or hairstyles when creating your character. It would be nice if more were added, but I get the game is new. The game is cute, but the lobbies are difficult to navigate through. I can't see where I'm going most of the time because the walls are in my face. The controls are a bit difficult. I wasn't able to see any players because I guess none of them were online. Update: So I decided to download the game months later and give it a try again. It hasn't really improved that much. A lot of rooms are confusing and make no sense. You can barely do anything in them. The game is laggy and crashes. My screen turned black once, and another time it wouldn't let me leave a room. The controls are still iffy. Not sure if anything's changed with that. It still has a lot of work to be done. It's a cute game and nice concept, but it's still just not there yet. I hope to come back again some day and see it improved. I'll be deleting again for now.

I saw an add for this on tik tok so I tried it out and it was fun at first but it’s really difficult to use. It glitches a lot, it takes forever to zoom in and out when building, when looking in your inventory the stuff takes forever to load, and after like 5 minutes the thing just crashes and puts me back to my home screen. Then when I try to go back the stuff I added didn’t save so I have to redo do half the builds. The characters move so slow and you can’t move or change the spawning areas they just multiply. When being in other creations it glitches so much after a while. The characters are cute and so are the builds but honestly this game needs alot of work, especially considering it’s basically Roblox and animal crossing put together. I gave this a three because despite all of this it’s kindoff addictive and is fun once you move past all the bad stuff.

so I think this app is a really fun and cute game but I have made lots of progress on it and my parents were using my phone for a bit and I had forgotten to turn my this app notifications off and the notifications keep coming so they deleted it, I downloaded it again but there was no login option. I was really upset about it and I might’ve thought of quitting, if you do consider thinking about making a login button, I would honestly be so happy. another problem is that when I’m in build mode, sometimes it glitches me out, then when I come back, I had lost some progress, this can be a problem to fix too but other then that your game is super fun and addicting! ill be looking forward to future updates and Ty for making BUD a thing ❤️

This Game Is Super Cute! You Can Design Your Own Clothes And you can add others creations to your wardrobe as well! There’s also an option to make & buy props for your rooms. This game also allows you to design your own experiences and invite your friends! Some things that I feel that could make this game better are ( 1. Raising the maximum for rooms 2. Allowing an undo button for when you are creating props or clothing for when you make a mistake. 3. Custom Hair Color Options For Your Avatar (color wheel) 4. Allowing You To Edit Your Eye Color 5. Mini Games Like (Fishing, Gardening , Cooking) 6.Easier Camera Navigation 7. Showing Age On Your Bio (For Saftey Precautions Of Minors) Otherwise Keep It Up! I Cant Wait To See How This Game Grows!

This game is really cute, but I have some suggestions for the game to be more enjoyable.

-For the characters that people make, if its like supposed to chase after the player they should be able to let that happen. (And to let them go wherever on the map and not just one spot)

-If the game wants the player to collect things, i think there should be a backpack type of thing for the player to access the things, and to let them use it. Like if its a survival game, i think it should have health and energy bars and maybe a run option. So if they get food for example, they can use it for their health and energy to go up so they dont die.

-I think the avatar section should add a little more diversity, like freckles and vitiligo.

- I feel like the player shpuld be able to zoom in on their character in any game, unless the game creator says otherwise. The angles aswell.

-I personally also think that if the game is like mysterious or something, the game creator should be aloud to let each player have like a different light on them. (If the scene is dark)

This game is cute, but it’s difficult to play.

My suggestions are:

- Adding a search bar feature for rooms, clothing, & props cause scrolling takes a lot of time and it would be easier to type in the name of things on a search bar to get relevant results
- Adding a redo and undo button when making clothes
- Adding more options for the type of clothes that players can make —> For example, templates for dresses, shirts, skirts, shoes, hair, & accessories (right now there is only a template for long sleeves and pants as one outfit)
- Adding a transparent color option when making clothes (in my experience, when I first made an outfit, I tried making a shirt but the part where there’s skin is just colored white, there’s no place for skin color to show or any skin color unless you put the skin color on the template, but not everyone is the same skin color) PLEASE ADD TRANSPARENCY FOR THE CLOTHES MAKER so everyone can wear the outfits they like without having to change their avatar’ skin color :)
- Adding a feature where players can view the props and clothes they published and see how many people bought it and see comments

These are all the suggestions I can think of right now. There are many creative people on this game that want to create to the fullest. Please take these suggestions into consideration.

I love this game a lot. The prop creation is fun, the experiences are fun, and everyone is so kind and creative! I wish BUD was more popular so I could meet even more lovely people.

However, I have noticed that when I try to message someone that im friends with, it says i can’t because I need to add them as a friend? Even though I am already friends with them. A friend of mine messaged me and I want to reply so they aren’t thinking im ignoring them but BUD won’t let me :( please see this and fix this
also an undo and redo button in the prop and experience editing studio would be really reeeally helpful!

So I thought the idea of the game was really cute and the different worlds you could try out were a lot of fun. I had a really good experience and loved this game for a couple weeks until I decided to create my own experience. I had gotten pretty far and was really excited with how it was turning out, however, it started to exit me out of BUD after a few seconds of editing without saving my progress. I currently cannot make any progress on the experience I was trying to create without it being deleted because of this glitch. I thought it was about storage but after freeing storage this glitch kept happening. Although I can enjoy other experiences, I don’t think it will be long before I delete BUD due to the fact I can’t create.

I downloaded this game because I saw it on tiktok. From the ad it seemed pretty fun so I downloaded it but when I got signed up I was so confused.. there were no directions and the entire time I was going around confused. While making my first build which was meant to be tres leches cake because it was simple turned to me confused on how to turn, make items smaller, etc. (P.S. still confused on those things) while making clothing I decided to do a pink tube top and long pink matching skirt. Little did I know the background wasn’t transparent for any skin color but instead just white. I then turned to the skin colors but I soon realized it needed sleeves!! I ask that you allow people to create without puffy sleeves and provide directions

I like it, but can we get more hairstyles? The only hairstyle that fits me is the Afro and I can’t really do anything with hats and different things. But besides that I love it a lot. Also I’m building my world and having an amazing time and think that if maybe we were able to draw on the shapes we create it could add more individuality and detail to the worlds. Also more explanation on the tools. Like a guide book somewhere. I wanna create games but don’t know how. Until those are fixed this’ll remain at 4 stars and I’m being generous

I find the game kinda fun, it’s nice to create stuff ya know? And I love how cute the characters are. But, I do have some problems. With the gameplay I definitely cannot find any sensitivity for moving the screen in settings so it’s super slow when moving your screen, even when building, ect. And when you build the arrows to move and stuff get in the way and you can’t see where your moving stuff half the time. Aswell as there is so undo button if you make a mistake, so if you delete the wrong thing it’s gone forever. It would definitely be better if these were fixed. Thank you! I do think this game has potential!

I love this game so much. The second I downloaded it, I knew I was gonna become addicted to it. I started making my first experience, and I had a ton of fun. However, once I was close to finishing, the game kept crashing me out of my own experience and I was not able to edit. Now I’m unable to go back into it at all, and I worked really hard on it. This is definitely something that needs to be worked on.

The game is amazing and super duper adorable! I really love it and I love the fact that we’re able to create our own rooms and much more. I seen by another review that we don’t have a log in? I hope that we can soon get a login button so we can save our friends and data. I have been inviting my friends onto the game all day long because its a nice game to chill and relax with ur friends and have fun with them. Thank you so so much for the adorable game!

this game is actually a good game and is perfect for beginner builders to make their creativity come to life, but there’s just one huge aspect that i don’t know how to get rid of.

sure, the building system is cool and all but the rotating and the duplicating is what somewhat annoys me.

for the duplicating thing, every time i duplicate something it goes forward like a few centimeters away from the part i actually duplicated. it annoys me trying to put it back into place, this annoys me especially when designing walls for my place.

for the rotating, it rotates for me really smoothly to the point where the degrees it turns for me becomes literal decimals. that’s the thing that also annoys me as well, sure smooth rotating is cool but not when building walls, i would build a really detailed wall that took me almost hours that i grouped together and duplicate and rotate it to go onto the other side of the room, but once i duplicate it again it moves slightly diagonal which for some reason annoys me so much.

you may think i’m quite overdoing this review but it’s my opinion about what i just listed, this game is good and all but i need to know if there’s an upcoming thing to fix it or if there’s a setting that allows me to fix it that exists already!!

I love this app! Just by a one day of using BUD I love it! I wish there was a easier way for tablet/ iPad users to play. With my tablet it has a very small screen. It is such a cute game and I love customizing my character and everything. I use my phone often but I also use my tablet as often as well. But it is a little difficult to play with my tablet, rather than my phone.

Love the game! But I have some recommendations for the recent updates on clothing. It would be cool to have a color wheel to have more color options. Be able to view our outfits once published as a published post. For example, how we’re able to see our published props on our profiles and seeing how many purchases were made. Having a search bar for clothing. Other than that, pretty cool game.

This game is overall amazing and very cute, but you should consider adding more clothing and coloring options. The camera movement is a bit of a problem too. I don't know if I’m the only one who’s bothered by it, but it’s very stiff and it’s hard to look around. Otherwise, this game is amazing and I recommend anyone who comes across it to download!

It may take a long time to build large buildings, but the general small materials are quite fast!

The this app degree of freedom is too high. There are a lot of materials for yourself to build various buildings, and you can recognize a lot of bigwigs. It’s great.

I honestly really enjoy BUD a lot. I didn’t expect myself to be this engaged by it, but I was.

The fun part about it is that others get to see you creations. This is the first app I ever found to be so real and cute.
