I want to cancel whilst in free trial before they bill me. I cannot find how to do this. I use apple it’s not showing up in subscriptions as it is not yet one. I need to cancel urgently as I do not like tge app and don’t want to be billed for it.

I downloaded the app and intended to only use the free trial. The app promises to send a reminder when the free trial is about to end so you can cancel it if you wish. I never got a notification nor could I find anywhere in the app to cancel. In the app’s settings, the only option in “restore purchases”, where it just checks if you have a subscription or not. What?! Additionally, the website’s link “Write to us” does nothing, so there is no way to contact support besides through this review Im currently writing.
This is extremely frustrating and I highly recommend that no one downloads this app.

I started my free trial, and completely forgot about using it. So when weeks later, I looked at the app again and the options available still offered a free trial, I selected it again. I was immediately charged for a year’s subscription. I contacted Apple support, and explained the issue and the reason for confusion, and they said I’d have to contact the app developers directly for a refund. I have reached out by email and have not received a response. I never leave bad reviews but this practice feels shady and I’m very frustrated by the lack of response.

The Ads LIE

I downloaded this app because the ad showed learning French while watching an episode of Wednesday. Now, I see that feature is not an option at all. The developer answered other people’s reviews saying they haven’t finished making that feature yet & developing it takes time. YOU SHOULD NOT BE ADVERTISING A FEATURE THAT DOES NOT EXIST YET (and probably never will). That’s dishonest, and you know it.

You also can’t do any learning at all in this app without signing up for a paid subscription. I’m not rushing to pay this developer money when they’ve already blatantly lied to me. What a joke.
