Love the show, wish I could watch it

The imagery promoting this app says you can watch every episode, but that’s not the case. The switch to weekly episode releases is just too slow. I was really loving the app when my wife and I could watch at our own pace. But once we caught up, the trickle release just put us off entirely. Instead of keeping my subscription, I’ve cancelled it. I watch the show enough that I was happy to keep an annual subscription to drop in on episodes or seasons at my leisure, but I really dread what’s gonna happen when the annual subscriptions expire. Nothing about this current model inspires confidence that the library will continue to be available once the weekly releases catch up to the current season. I imagine there are some Disney vault tricks in our future.

tl;dr: The show is wonderful, but the library of episodes won’t be worth the price for another year.
Taskmaster is the best show on television. We signed up for the app the minute we heard about it and loved watching the first few available seasons/series. Each consecutive Friday another season was released and we happily (re)watched those. Then the week came to release season 9 and the decision was made to only release one episode a week, (after the free trial period had ended, incidentally). That means that we in the states who have been waiting to watch season 12 will need to wait until 2023 for all the episodes to be released. I know we could use a VPN, or torrent the episodes, but we made the choice to support the show we love with our subscription dollars, and this new release schedule feels like a kick in the teeth.
Great app, love the show.

I love this show so when I saw that I could subscribe to watching taskmaster here in the US without needing to deal with a VPN I jumped on it and I’m not disappointed. Only issue is that sometimes the episode will play again instead of automatically moving to the next episode. Not that big of a deal but just a minor thing. Otherwise, fantastic content.
