I have suffered with insomnia, the majority of my life which is over 45 years. I cannot sleep without thunderstorms and heavy rain running all night long. There’s a big variety options to choose from depending on what type of noise you like to listen to to settle down for bed.
My only request is for you to make a sound that is constant raging thunderstorm with heavy rain. The one you currently have has a thunderstorm loop that only lasts for about 15 to 30 minutes and would help me sleep more than 3 to 5 hours at a time. It seems like a soon as the thunderstorms, and I just start hearing the heavy rain is when I’ll begin to wake up. I would really love to have one that’s so intense. You might have to look out the window to see if it’s actually raining & thundering at your house. Please. If you create that sound and I can find it, I will gladly come back and change your 3 stars into 5.

Before I used sleep jar I couldn’t sleep AT ALL no matter how much I tried, now I fall asleep in between like 6 and 10 minutes maybe 15, SleepJar was the best thing that happened to me and it probably still is, my only problem is that I would like it 2x as much if you could pay an extra service (like the premium) to have the stories ANIMATED/ACTED OUT and it was only available from, 6:30 am to 8:30 pm it wouldn’t cost that much to hire A animator/ just make the two workers get 100 dollars to act out every story and it would attract so many more people and would just be a nice change to the existing customers, the extra service might be like 10 a month/week and you would probably make a BIG profit, other than that I think SleepJar is perfect.

I love SleepJar. My only complaint is that the premium version doesn't work with Alexa the way it's supposed to. Even though it says it's linked, I don't have access to premium on my echo and sound quality is severely diminished. Works great on my phone and through Bluetooth though!

Works well, nice sound quality, and you can listen to it either your phone locked. My favorite thunderstorm sounds.

I’ve been using this for my daughter for about 9 months or so. When we transitioned her to another room I realized I enjoyed rain sounds also so I had to get it on my phone.

I can’t sleep without using SleepJar. The best quality sounds I’ve found yet plus there are so many more options! Excited to use the meditation tool.

I’m a transplant from the Midwest to Phoenix and I really missed the sound of a thunderstorm and rain on my window. I was having trouble falling asleep and thought I’d try Sleep Jar. It works like a charm every night!

How do I cancel the membership? Not that I don’t like it, it just does not help me much anymore. It is great, but not for me, sorry. I just don’t know how AND I found another app that helps me more. BTW download this; it IS amazing! It’s just not right for me. Please write back!

First of all, I’d like to thank you for not locking everything behind a paywall like most apps nowadays. Second of all, SleepJar works so well for me. Like not even 5 minutes go by when I’m listening to the thunderstorm sounds and I am OUT.

I’ve always had trouble relaxing & sleeping & the sounds in SleepJar are very soothing & well done. I don’t keep myself focused & awake looking for the beginning & end of the loop, which is the problem I’ve had with many, many sound machines.

Thank you so much this app for helping us sleep for years with the perfect thunderstorm sounds. My only suggestion would be to add Siri Shortcuts so that when I go to sleep, I can I have one command to activate thunderstorm sounds on my HomePod. Thank you guys for your hard work!

Gosh there are so Amy words to say how much I love sleep jar! I love it so much because well it helps me sleep! My favorite sounds has gotta be dishwasher, distant train, rain, ocean/ocean waves, water sounds, boiling water, anything related to those really help me sleep so much through almost the whole night!!! Thank you!

I have a sound machine but it turns off after 2 hours. I was shopping around for one that stays on longer and stumbled upon sleep jar. I LOVE IT! The thunderstorm and ocean are my absolute favorite and all I use. I did purchase the 1 year subscription just to support this amazing app and it’s still cheaper than the sound machines I was looking at. Thank you for sleep jar!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Unfortunately my wife doesn’t enjoy a good thunderstorm as much as I do so I can’t play this on Alexa. I have to listen with my AirPods. That means I only get 5 hours of listening per night. But it’s incredibly soothing especially when I want to go to bed and my wife or the kids are in our room watching TV. Better than any of the sfx I use for audio production. Thank you.

SleepJar need more downloads than it has on Apple. I use SleepJar for my baby and it’s exactly what I need. I really appreciate the developers creating a constant white noise sound. It’s hard to find white noise apps that will play non-stop without ads or a time limit. Now my baby girl can sleep 12 hours a night and not wake up just because the sound stopped lol

I absolutely love SleepJar because of all the different sounds that are available. I also love it because if there is a night in particular where I’m having problems, sleeping, I can turn one of the available sounds on, and fall asleep, pretty quickly after the sound has been turned on. So, thank you to the developers for creating such an amazing app!

Been using Sleep Jar sounds every single night for over 2 years now. I've always had insomnia and SleepJar finally allowed me to start sleeping better. I like that the subscription model is so fair—yes, the pro membership is a great deal and a good way to support the kind developers, but free users will never feel limited or restricted in what they can do. I wish more developers were like this one! Thank you Sleep Jar for your years of faithful service 🫡🫡

I love the sounds I turn them on my Alexa everyday before I go to sleep it makes a good ambience and there is so many options. When I found out there was a app immediately downloaded it has a bunch of free stuff on SleepJar but as said in the title (“but one thing… “) what if you get points and those points can be used to get bonus stuff. You can get points by doing certain stuff or buy them. That’s all thanks for peaceful dreams.

I used to have so much sleep anxiety from how quiet my room was and being able to hear every little sound, but with sleep jar I have literally never slept better, it gets rid of all the background noise and just focuses on the one sound it’s playing, I absolutely love the meditations too, the only thing I would say I dislike is the voice of the people reading the story’s, they weird me out, just feel too AI for me, but overall a wonderful app!

I’ve tried plenty, and this one offers something for everyone. From nature sounds to different white noise variations and even city sounds. It’s fabulous
