I didn’t realize you had to create an account to save your entries. An update was done and everything from the past few months is now gone and it was there yesterday. This is an embarrassing situation for some people, that would like to keep information anonymous and for that reason, information is deleted? I used to like HappyPoop, but I guess it’s time to find another one.

I wasted 2 to 3 months inputting information into HappyPoop, but when I had to restore to factory settings and back up to my last nights, iCloud backup,Found out that all of my data was gone. What a joke. What a total colossal waste of time and putting all that information that I no longer have access to. I thought perhaps I hadn’t logged in, but it won’t let me login or create a password. It says I already have a user ID which I do, only from downloading it for free off of iTunes so I messaged customer service, but I’m not holding out a lot of hope because I’ve already learned the hard way yesterday that one cannot rely on iCloud back ups. for much of what is on the phone.I think there’s some option about downloading it to your computer, but I can’t plug in my phone to my computer currently so that would be useless to me and kind of begs the question, why is there an app on the phone that’s not going to back up to iCloud. It doesn’t show up in the options to check the box but then, many of the apps don’t, and they still back up.

I use HappyPoop for important reasons due to digestive problems and chronic constipation. I had a lot of data on it to look at my history. That is important because it gives me an idea of what has worked in the past and allows me to make adjustments in my treatment. Then. All of a sudden, I couldn’t get HappyPoop to respond or show my history. I signed in to my account and it wanted me to create a new account. Lost so much information because of this. I’m trying to find a suitable replacement app so I don’t have to use this anymore.

I love this because my daughter has has stomach issues for years now. I found HappyPoop while sitting in the ER with her due to being backed up and not able to go. We started using it and the first week she is so good at tracking it and things (she’s 8 yrs old) . When we finally got in with the specialist they were so impressed and it helped them so much to pin point the issue. In fact they are recommended it for all their patients.

With that being said I wish there was a way to sync HappyPoop between family members. Example I share custody with her dad, all 3 of us download HappyPoop to use it and keep track. Only problem is it doesn’t since up between the three of us, so when we go to the dr all 3 of us either have to be there or export it so they can see it. We did it on all phones that way if she didn’t have hers we could still track it . Just wish it all sync on her profile .

Works great to keep track and know how long it has been to intercede if need to. I wish there was a way to export other than JSON file that can’t be opened and printed. I haven’t found a way to open the export file to share with doctors. Would be great if it exported with photos to a PDF of word document!

HappyPoop has been helpful. It is easy to use. The only thing I wish it had is the ability to select multiple Bristol ratings because there are time I may see 2 different looks. Oh and for symptoms I wish they would add frequent burps as an option and maybe a tiny check box next to it to note if the burps have a smell to them. And I know they have a mood scale and then a pain as a symptom option but I wish there was a way to note or rate the level of upset stomach a person may feel because sometimes my mood is great but my stomach is just really upset or maybe I’m feeling quite nauseous. And since I mentioned it, where are the options for nausea and for emesis( this is something I often get during a bowel movement?

This was the best app I could find for my purpose even though it doesn’t really address my issue. The doctor asked me to keep track of bowel movements AND episodes of fecal incontinence. Unfortunately no app that I could find will handle the incontinence issue easily . In HappyPoop I have to enter it in the notes section .

I love the pictures! How about adding a feature that you can go multiple times in one day? Also, instead of making it a slide bar, how about a number for quantity?

I have suffered from constipation my whole life and finally decided to start tracking my bowel habits. I really like HappyPoop however the one thing that truly frustrates me is that you can only select one stool type. I wish I could select more options at once because that is just real life. I don’t want to register numerous bowel movements because it would seem like I had multiple that day instead of just one sorted BM. The color slider is also not perfect. Overall though I like the ease of HappyPoop and the “at a glance” calendar for tracking purposes.

I suffering from chronic pain I have to take narcotics. It is great to take care of my bowel movements because I need to take a special laxative medication for people who take narcotics. I attempt to eat fresh fruits and vegetables and take natural laxatives so glad I do not have to take the medication that turns off the narcotics that often so it’s important for me to keep track of my poops so that I go naturally at least every other day. if I miss two days, then I take the prescription medication.

At least right now, the only thing I’m interested in tracking is – did I have a bowel movement today? This is because I have been going too long, too many days without having one at all. Thinking maybe I had forgotten some. I decided that I needed to make myself responsible for logging it. So I have the settings to where I need to track the least number of items possible. I am filling in all the fields and some of them I don’t care about, but it’s not too much. Anyway, basically I am just so happy that HappyPoop was here for me because I really feel that I need this. I looked at lots of apps and I liked the user reviews on this one best and that’s why I chose it. Thank you so much for HappyPoop!

Great way to track bowels. For someone that’s not as regular as they should be it’s really great to track and be more aware. The games and info offered while doing your business are good. The only issue I have is when logging the duration my keyboard will not go away until I select create. A little annoying but not a big deal.

I love the easy interface and simple logging. I am not one that wants to spend a lot of time on details. It would be helpful for there to be a way to enter a text entry for meals in between poos, but for now I just put it in the notes of the next poo entry. My doctor wants to see meals and poos, so its a bit annoying to have to find a work-around, but HappyPoop is still much more simplified than others while still allowing export to reports. Great job!

update: Got a message from the developer that a new release was pushed and it resolved the problem. Thank you!!! I’m a big fan of HappyPoop and am so glad to have it back! original: When I open it, HappyPoop just crashes and closes out. I reinstalled to see if that would help but it didn’t. Really bummed because I like HappyPoop a lot. Hope it gets fixed soon.

The latest updates have included some desired features. I like the option for the location. Home and work didn’t always fit. I plan to include e.g. traveling, visiting, exercising. I am glad that HappyPoop is actively updated. It has made it so easy to document bowel movements. I am able to show my doc when asked. I love to see their astonishment.

Absolute nonsense. Time to delete.

**Update** For those of you guys who lost your data after the update, just log in again. (That page where it shows log in or sign up). I had logged in using iOS so I chose that and everything popped back up.

Nowadays, most apps require a premium version to access all benefits of HappyPoop . However, this free app is really good! It gives me all the features I want, and it gives you a lot of options to use. If you make an account, you can access a little more features, but I don’t need those, so I’m free of paying and free of making an account. So, HappyPoop is really cool and really good. I 100% recommend :)

Because of medical concerns of cancer in my family I started using HappyPoop. Now I have useful follow-up data for my doctor’s appointments. The habits section should have easier to describe options for food intake like fiber, protein, vegetables, fruits, etc.

I was recently diagnosed with a chronic genetic disease called CIRS which severely impacts your gut/digestion. I’m unable to start treatment until I can have bowel movements regularly and HappyPoop has made tracking so easy with all of the specs I need! It is so easy to use with my brain not working right now. As funny as it might sound, I’m really thankful for HappyPoop!

There are so many useful features packed into this one app! Can chart food, urine, bowel movements, habits, pain level, if laxatives were taken, etc…and so much more. The calendar is so easy to look at with all the different icons added for visual summary, and I can literally take notes on any category. Simple interface, yet very comprehensive with lots of options. Best GI app for BM tracking that I’ve used so far!

HappyPoop has been very helpful I. Gathering accurate information I am hoping to share with my doctor at my next visit. I can never get in to see the gastrointestinal doctor when I’m having a major issue. I’m hoping this info will help him get to a better diagnosis and better management of my issues.

We love HappyPoop for tracking my daughters bowel movements. We are working with a GI doctor and physical therapist for my daughters medical condition of encopresis. It’s been very helpful when needing to discuss her bowel movements. HappyPoop also includes pictures you can take or upload which has also been helpful when needing to explain in detail about the bowel movements.

So…. Yeah. Post babies and having issues with constipation and pelvic floor musculature? HappyPoop helped me. It allows me to track water, fiber and other factors to understand patterns that make my bowel difficulties easier to manage. Hoping to avoid surgery and pelvic floor therapy and so far it’s been great!

I love HappyPoop! I struggle with chronic constipation and HappyPoop helps me to keep on top of it. I like that you can record water intake, exercise and dietary intake. It also helps to be able to record what my bowel movements look like so I can see when I’m starting to get constipated. You can also make notes on each entry. HappyPoop makes keeping track of bathroom habits fun!

I want you to know that I absolutely LOVE your app! I found it about 3 months ago. I had been looking for something like this for years and even went as far as to investigate how hard it would be to make an app to do this exact same thing. I’m so glad I found this and have recommended it to several people in my gastroparesis groups!

HappyPoop I didn’t know I needed! Been using it for three weeks pretty consistently and its helped quite a bit with my eating, water intake, and bathroom habits. With daily use I was able to track how my body is actually responding & track patterns so I know what to avoid or improve on. It’s a little cartoony but it’s very user friendly, w/ well thought out functions.

also loved that the developer sent update within HappyPoop to let users know there was glitch & the fix was done before I even noticed along with a whole list of improvements. 10/10 .

We all think we remember the last time we poo’d, but do we really? I think I did yesterday, or was that the day before… But when you have a health issue or are getting up there in age, knowing for sure can mean the difference in length of time to begin healing and feeling better. And its way easier to tell an app than another human exactly what you’re experiencing in the bathroom. So start logging those poos today!

I love HappyPoop, I originally downloaded it because my dietitian told me to keep track of my bowel movements. HappyPoop makes it kind of fun and fast to do that. I love how there is cute games you can play, or you can even learn about things as well. Overall it’s a fun, goofy, little, app and I would recommend it to anyone who just likes to have a good laugh.

HappyPoop does nearly everything you could want as far as tracking bodily functions. The urine and habit tracking functions are a little ambiguous, but the main event I really want to keep track of is bowel movements, and HappyPoop accomplishes that wonderfully. It’s also silly enough with the cartoonish flair and sound effects to make the process fun and entertaining. The educational content is a huge bonus as well. Overall I am impressed by the thought and intention that went into creating this free app so that people can track and hopefully improve their bowel health.

I have not found an app before this one that was so easy to use and had all the features I needed. The calendar layout of graphic info is perfect. I'm so thankful for the menstruation inclusion so it doesn't have to be on a separate app. All the easy to maneuver features are perfect for me and I appreciate it. It's a huge deal to me to be able to track my GI health due to YEARS of medical issues involving the GI tract. THANK YOU!!!! Would like to see urination on HappyPoop as well soon, unless it's there and I missed.

I find it super helpful. I love the plopping sound when you record a poo. I have ibs issues and so this is helping me see how often i go and if there is a problem incoming. I wish a bit that the icon in the screen was a bit more private

I had surgery on my stomach and it left me with severe constipation and an in regular schedule for months. This has really helped me keep track of what helps, and in a fun way! Thank you so much for HappyPoop!

My daughter has GI issues so trying to find something to keep track of her BMs and medications has been a hassle with going between myself, her dad and the babysitter. We all logged onto one account and it’s easier than ever to keep track!

My one suggestion would be to add a medication tab. My daughter is 5 so she doesn’t need the menstruation tab, so we just use that for medicine and comment in the note part how much she took.

I have used other tracker apps. And this one so far has been the best! Easy to use. And so many selections when creating logs. I have gastroparesis and have to keep an eye on things. I don’t always remember the last time I had a bowel movement. And it also allows me to see what is normal for me. So I don’t panic or get worried too soon. Thanks for an amazing aid in managing my condition.

They thought of everything for HappyPoop!! And the UI is so cute and simple and easy to navigate. Love that I can track my periods on here too! Love everything about HappyPoop and even got all my friends on it! Would love to see a feature where you can maybe add friends and track it together ;)

HappyPoop is helping me to keep track of how frequently I have a bowel movement as I have times of constipation when traveling/away from home or a very busy schedule. Love all the features and that it is free.

User friendly. I got HappyPoop to track my son’s bowel movements. He has a history of chronic constipation. It’s great to be able to show his docs a whole month of stooling at a time. They appreciate seeing that data in a clear visual. Thanks for a great app!

My iPhone 6 Plus won’t update its iOS any more and you guys went the extra mile to help me continue using HappyPoop . I’ve never had someone care for app users (me!) this much. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I have constipation problems and do you have to take medication to have normal bowel movements HappyPoop has made it very easy to track when and how much I am going so I do not have to worry about becoming impacted or constipated!

Live the games, music, tips, and the fact you can take a photo although I don’t think I would! Nice you can share with family as well and it’s free!!!

I have been having issues for over a year. Waiting for a colonoscopy but this will help me if the Doctor ask questions. Wish I would of got this a year ago.

Good way of getting a handle on what’s going on and handy way to show a doctor a precise record of what your complaints is. When they view something it makes more impact.

I’ve been using HappyPoop since June, and I love it! You can easily track your bowel movements, menstrual cycle, and exercise habits. You also have access to graphs/charts, games to play while doing the pooping, music, and information that can be helpful or just something to read other than a shampoo bottle. To HappyPoop developer: I think it would be cool if this could also be an app for the Apple Watch, I’d be willing to pay! Great app! Highly recommend!

This is a great way for me to keep track of BM especially now that I am trying a new medication. It allows me to make comparison or show signs of improvement or not at all.

I have not been using HappyPoop long, but I like it so far. I’ve already told another person about it and they got HappyPoop too.

I really like HappyPoop! I like the ability to be able to write when I have my bowel movement and leave notes if there’s anything wrong at the same time, I was kind of funny that they want you to put down what it looks like which I don’t really want to look at it but once in a while, if I feel really icky, I can see if it’s got a strange color. This is a perfect app for anybody who needs to track their bowel movements, especially if you have constipation!

HappyPoop lets you store more than enough detail about each bowel movement. It is hard to imagine any more detail that you would be able to document. I find it helpful as I have a medication that constipate me a bit and this allows me to keep an eye on how long it’s been since my last movement and reduces unnecessary concerns. Would recommend to anybody who needs this type of data.

I struggle going frequently. I have always hoped the Health app would add something like this but I’m honestly happier with HappyPoop instead. You can be as specific as need be. Add other types of goals like water consumption, diet, etc. Can even add menstrual data! But what really sold me was the games that come within HappyPoop . Will be using frequently!

I couldn’t be happier that I found HappyPoop. I struggle with constipation and this tool allows me not only to keep track of the days I’ve not had a BM but it keeps my Gastro in the loop too. I give it a 10/10 it’s very graphic in areas that might need to be for some but not necessarily for others. GENIUS APP!

This simple app is helping me keep track so I can talk with my doctor. Wish I had a little more flexibility to change the opening screen (I’d remove the other two modules) but it works great for what I need.

Whenever I have a flare up of UC the doctors will always ask me how many bathroom visits I have had as well as other details of my stools. I could never remember the number and details. HappyPoop is perfect for this purpose. Thank you.

HappyPoop makes it easy and convenient to track your digestion habits and your intake habits as well.
