VideoUpMovieMakerEditor will constantly have a pop up that says “$1.35/week (one year subscription). I subscribed thinking I would get charged $1.35 each week for a year, instead my card got charged $75 right away. Warning you all so you don’t make the same mistake I did because VideoUpMovieMakerEditor does a crap job of explaining you will get charged for the entire year and just markets it as a week to week subscription.

Darnnnnn. I was so excited to find what I thought would be an awesome video editing app and had my heart completely shattered. When trying to upload multiple videos, instead of uploading 3 of the videos I selected, it uploaded 3 of the first video only. I tried deleting VideoUpMovieMakerEditor and re-downloading and still the same. Video up! Come on. You got one job!! Super disappointed and back to the drawing board looking for a new app.

Just started using VideoUpMovieMakerEditor.

All you can do are 4 things if you don’t pay I tried to make lightning red but I couldn’t and it told me to “upgrade” 2 times in 30 seconds I would recommend just using the edit video feature on photos

Apple suggested that I install this free app for photo and video editing, so I did. Upon opening VideoUpMovieMakerEditor , the first screen that popped up asks me to subscribe to the editing service for the annual cost of $69.99, which was misleading since Apple claimed that VideoUpMovieMakerEditor was free.

VideoUpMovieMakerEditor is absolutely terrible i got one edit out of it then it completely started tweaking out i tried to make another edit and it started duplicating everything instead of importing different videos. if i imported two different videos or audios VideoUpMovieMakerEditor would just do two of the same instead of two different

Only uploaded the same video unless I deleted VideoUpMovieMakerEditor and redo w loaded it. Did not allow me to overlay videos

Really bad app don’t download it

I had made a video for my youtube page , took forever to put together and when i tried to export it went to 93% , then failed and sent an error message and deleted my whole project very disappointed esp since i paid extra for pro WASTE OF TIME

On the 6th or 7th panel of the preview on VideoUpMovieMakerEditor Store claims you can use the Chroma Key tool to remove backgrounds. Sounds really exciting until you realize that VideoUpMovieMakerEditor feature is absolutely fake. An app designed for the phone includes a feature that when clicked pops up with text that says that feature is not supported by VideoUpMovieMakerEditor version.

It seems like some other features are okay but honestly you could probably find other apps that can accomplish the same things and that are not straight up lying to you to press the subscribe button. Shameless.

Good thing I just bought a week. You can’t shorten time pics get displayed, you can’t mute videos you’re inserting, you can’t pick songs from Spotify and you can’t choose where the songs starts or stop. And it freezes often. VideoUpMovieMakerEditor is garbage. Don’t buy it.

Video Up is probably the best app I’ve used to quickly create and edit videos on the iPhone. I’ve used it to create videos for friends, family, and for work.
For the most part it’s intuitive; however, I wish there were ways to fade music in and out. And there may be — I just haven’t easily found it.
Keep up the great work on VideoUpMovieMakerEditor - it’s one of the few that’s worth paying for!

While the interface is pretty straight forward and simple to use, there’s seems to be a few glitches holding it back from its full potential. I made a video compilation of old commercials. When I clicked the preview button to make sure everything was all good before I saved the video, everything was in fact okay. But, then when I actually had the video downloaded and in my photos app I played back the video only to find all of the volume was missing for the second half of the video. I even tried restarting my phone and VideoUpMovieMakerEditor multiple times. I even redid the whole video from scratch and it was still having the same issue. I would love to know if there is a fix before I cancel my paid subscription for good.

Be aware VideoUpMovieMakerEditor consistently cannot see photos/videos from certain albums on your iPhone. Ex “Shared Albums”. Additionally, it doesnt see photos/videos at times for no reasons, even if I quit VideoUpMovieMakerEditor and re-open. It wont let me import because they dont appear. It’s extremely annoying. I also do t know why it doesnt work with Apple music even though they seem to have an importer. I have random music that it will import and then when it requests me to download a song it says isnt downloaded it still doesnt recognize that the song is downloaded and available. For the price these are ridiculous issues to continue having. Many times the handles to drag are un-selectable and unresponsive. This will send you info fits of frustration as well. For the money, Id look elsewhere. Too many inconsistent functions.

I downloaded VideoUpMovieMakerEditor because of a Google advertisement giving it the #1 link at the top. I was super impressed of how easy it was to use and all the edits you could do with it and even made a 30 sec test video to see how it exported. All was fine and dandy until I tried to make a second video.. for some reason when I would add my videos clips, it would choose a random clip to duplicate and replace all my other video clips. Meaning I had duplicates of the same clip throughout the entire video. I tried deleting that particular clip but then it just chose a different clip to duplicate. I deleted and redownloaded VideoUpMovieMakerEditor 6-7 times but it didn’t work and the problem was still there 🥲 Really sad, I was looking forward to using VideoUpMovieMakerEditor to replace KineMaster… Let’s see what they say here 🧐

I’m not super techie or a pro content creator, but I can handle myself on iMovie and some other apps. I thought this would be a breeze. All I wanted to do was blur and add some text to a video, but it was too hard for me to figure out. Maybe blue isn’t an option? I had to pay $.99 and this is likely an auto-renewal. I tried to cancel; I couldn’t do it in VideoUpMovieMakerEditor . I was directed to visit VideoUpMovieMakerEditor Store. That experience has me wanting to give fewer stars. I realize it’s not about app function, but rather business practices. It feels like a bait and switch even though I finally figured out how to cancel. :/ CapCut had just what I needed, and it is free.

I can’t rate VideoUpMovieMakerEditor yet. After purchasing the monthly subscription, I uploaded a video to Mask Out background however… I cannot figure out how to Mask background to have specific items or persons in videos to stand alone for overlay purposes onto other videos.
I purchased the monthly specifically to have that editing ability, specifically masking out backgrounds of videos.
Is that not a function in VideoUpMovieMakerEditor?
Are there Video Tutorials for visual aids rather than an image with instructions that aren’t too user friendly, especially for people new to VideoUpMovieMakerEditor ?
If there is a video tutorial / audio walk through on how to utilize the functions of VideoUpMovieMakerEditor , please direct me there.

At first I thought VideoUpMovieMakerEditor was great did what I needed to make clips nice and easy. Until about the third time I used it started having videos that I was trying to add into a video be a completely different or simply not load in. Until day the fourth day when it started crashing randomly and not progressively saving my work. Forcing me to go back and redo 10-20 minutes of work over and over. VideoUpMovieMakerEditor has potential to be great but if issues continue I don’t think I’ll see the second month of the subscription cause unfortunately I bought the month not the week.

So far, this is a great app. However, there are some things that I haven’t been able to figure out how to do, like fade music in and out. It would be great if you could provide a tutorial. Also, does Apple customer service know about VideoUpMovieMakerEditor, because when I chatted with them, a supervisor said that it wasn’t an Apple app.

They showed me nothing but .99 and $2.99. I clicked $2.99 in order to use it for a week or month, whatever it was but they did NOT show me thirty something anywhere. I didn’t see that until the purchase went through. I immediately canceled and any other app refunds you if you immediately cancel but not these people. They just took $38 something from my account after misleading me. I couldn’t be more friggin disgusted right now. Legitimately pist off!!! Even if VideoUpMovieMakerEditor itself is good, I can’t deal with people that cheat you into buying something so bad business is bad business no matter how you dress it up.

I understand that the ways in which the initial charge felt misleading to me might be a result of me misunderstanding their communication (which highlights a need for better communication but also seems a bit like they’re trying to trick you), but regardless of that, the fact that they state they’ll give you a refund if you’re not satisfied but then they are impossible to contact is incredibly sleazy. Don’t give your money to a company that is trying to make promises that they then build obstacles to so that they don’t have to keep them.

So disappointed! First of all it is advertised as “free” which it is not. I wanted to try it & like it so I chose .99 for a 7 day trial. I chose the Sugarplum Fairy but did not want the intro, but a few bars into the song. I tried it twice. Second time I went to the place in the song I wanted and saved but it still started at the beginning which did not match my video as well. I usually use Instagram where I CAN choose the place in the music where I want it to start.

As a professional photographer, I edit my images in Lightroom and Photoshop. But I sometimes end up needing to also edit video clips. I have found Adobe Premiere to be clunky and not at all user-friendly no matter how many tutorials I watch.
VideoUpMovieMakerEditor has been a game-changer for my videos! It’s easy to use, has a good selection of music, (even if it’s not exactly today’s
#1 hits for copyright reasons), and has tons of options for transitions and editing!
I tried a few others before finding this one & I gotta say it’s worth every penny!

I only wish there was a desktop version!

Video Up, is very easy to use, however I had a technical issue that I could not resolve and I messaged them immediately and the got back to me and help me resolve the technical issue I was having. I would recommend them to anyone who is making a video or want to try out.

I just wanted to be able to loop a video.... VideoUpMovieMakerEditor came up when I was searching for iPhone apps that allegedly could do that but *spoiler alert* it doesn't have that ability. Normally I wouldn't give a trash rating for something like this but honestly after looking at VideoUpMovieMakerEditor/the price that you pay for it (thank god I cancelled my $0.99 "7 day subscription" before getting charged $6.99/mo), I cannot understand how/why this would possibly be worth it. Does nothing more than the free editing features on iPhone.

App can be a bit glitchy especially after editing for 30 + minutes but after I finish a video I always seem to have trouble saving a video, sometimes it takes 4 plus times to download the video again and again before it actually saves to my library. VideoUpMovieMakerEditor has lots of pros and a lot of cons just never know how it’s going to act everytime I open VideoUpMovieMakerEditor

I had a video that was over 30 minutes and I tried for weeks to upload it to Facebook.
Paid for other apps as well.
This was the only app that could upload my video to Facebook.

I spent a good amount of time editing the video because doing things as simple as dragging clips to the position I wanted was something VideoUpMovieMakerEditor seemed to have a difficult time handling. When I finally finished editing, I was required to have 19 GB of free space just to download a 1GB video. I deleted files that I really did not want to in order to free up some storage. I ended up freeing an additional 30 GB of storage just for VideoUpMovieMakerEditor to tell me I still do not have enough storage to export my video. Super frustrating and a complete waste of time!

I’m so happy I took a shot on this video editing app. It’s so easy to figure out I am thrilled with my first video project. Everything I could possibly want right at my fingertips on my iPhone for world class video editing with all the bells and whistles.

Was loving it for 3 days editing 30+ minute videos down to about 18-20 minutes of gameplay. Love it so much even paid. Then after I paid I realized that my videos weren’t saving but instead the size of VideoUpMovieMakerEditor kept growing. It got to about 30 GB before I realized something was off. Kept checking why my storage was full and was watching the number go up !!!!Now I can’t download any of my work at all. Was able to send one video to my wife to save. Please Help !!

I was in search of an app that would instruct me with regard to creating a photo,video presentation for my grandchild’s “Sweet Sixteen” burthday….”VideoUp” was the perfect platform,especially for a novice senior.
I needed assistance throughout the process and the customer service at “Video Up” is outstanding. I consistently received patient, non condescending, prompt responses for which I am sincerely appreciative!

Your app is super and easy in use plus it's understandable even for first user. But there is one issue which make video editing a little problematical, particularly, we don't know how to change a size of text. We are able to change only Style and Font, BUT NOT SIZE OF TEXT. Please, could you advise on this

I tried everything what described to me in your email. But the problem is that I can not change a size. By dragging the text, I am able only to change length. But i am still not able to change the hight of text by dragging, or size of text in Font section. Please, double check how to check the hight/size of text

I was making a slideshow for my father in law’s 70th birthday and found the Video Up! App. I was nervous to use VideoUpMovieMakerEditor because I’ve always done slideshows on a laptop. I was pleasantly surprised at the efficiency of VideoUpMovieMakerEditor. It has everything that the program I purchased has. You can overlay, transition, animate and use your own music. I love the convenience of using my phone! I’m very happy with the finished product. I would recommend VideoUpMovieMakerEditor.

First of all, VideoUpMovieMakerEditor offered me a 7 day trial for $.99. When I purchased VideoUpMovieMakerEditor , I was immediately charged $9.99 and enrolled in the $9.99 per week package. Whatever, that’s fine… as long as it works, that was completely misleading and right away I have a bad taste in my mouth. Then I got into VideoUpMovieMakerEditor and uploaded all of my clips, all from the same album in my camera roll. A lot of the videos just didn’t show up in the editor at all. I thought maybe I made a mistake. So I tried to upload all the clips again… three times. Every single time, same results. I uploaded a lot of clips and maybe half were missing. I immediately canceled what was supposed to be my $.99 seven day trial for what was actually a $9.99 full enrollment. Trash

Buyer beware right? I went to school for Marketing, worked in PR and did banking & retail sales for years I get it.

But if your product is good you don’t have to resort to questionable tactics. You will never build a loyal following by tricking people. But then again you probably don’t care from what I’ve read.

Leaving this review for the sake of other users and the record. It is not our fault. You intentionally imply free trial, then 2.99/mth. Nowhere does it say $35 which I was quickly charged before I even closed VideoUpMovieMakerEditor .

I had to do research to even figure out why I was being charged. Call me slow. But I’ve never made anything important so small or unclear that my customers can’t see it. You can try and stand on the “read the fine print” excuse to keep people’s money, but it won’t save your brand image. 😏

Oh and buy the way you aren’t offering anything special. So I would absolutely not have continued after the trial. I have at least three other trusted apps that do the same and more. The only difference is, they actually honored my trial and I gladly paid for their membership.

VideoUpMovieMakerEditor is easy to use. However, I keep clearing memory space in my phone for videos I edited and now want to save to my device. I downloaded the same video three times, made sure it was at 100%, and it is nowhere to be found on my device. It just keeps taking up more memory space but I cannot find the video I supposedly downloaded to my device. I paid for a full year of headaches and not knowing where my videos are. They tell me to delete and re-install but that means I lose the work I did on the videos I already edited and just need to save to device.

This is my first time using a video editing app. Overall, it’s been pretty simple to make a short video or slideshow. There’s a few things that I cannot figure out how to do. I tried to upload 19 three second video clips at once. For some reason some of them would not load so I ended up adding one at time and saving the video 18 times to get them all in. I can’t figure out how to get the sound to fade at the end of the video. the song abruptly at the end. Lowering the volume at the end seems to lower it for the whole track. also some of the transitions between photos have the same photo for a split second after the transition. I would love to know if I can fade music at the end! I can’t find a tutorial for how to do it.

VideoUpMovieMakerEditor is AWFUL!!! Doesn’t matter if you use the free version, or ANY of the paid versions. Tried them all, and VideoUpMovieMakerEditor is crap. Crashes constantly, doesn’t actually work when there’s PERFECT reception and service, cuts your videos or doesn’t upload all attachments- IF THEY LOAD AT ALL FOR YOU TO TRY TI ATTACH!!!! I have written their “customer service” and support teams for help, you will NEVER get help, or a refund, just an, “Aw, sorry buddy, but don’t worry we’re listening!” When they’re not. This is the WORST video app I have ever wasted time and money on. Do not use this.

I’m still learning how to use this video, but I love it. I can fit a lot of pictures and videos. I find that the watch Apple take long videos in without having to cut it. I downloaded VideoUpMovieMakerEditor to create a video for my sister, who passed away so that I can show it at her funeral. Any trouble I had was that I really couldn’t find someone somber music. Also, I could not figure out how to. After I installed so I had to restart a new project. And the other thing was the volume so that I can hear the video that I inserted.

Either does not allow you to adjust video to start anywhere other than the beginning of a music clip or, if it does allow it, doesn’t indicate how to do so.

I finally figured out how to sync my video with the pottion of the music that I wanted but it was extremely frustrating and required multiple steps to cut out the middle of a 49 second music clip to sync it with a 23 second bideo. Why can’t I excise the portion of music I don’t want and then “marry” each end to fill in the gap?

I’d honestly give VideoUpMovieMakerEditor a 2.5 if I could. It’s not awful but it’s not the best. But I decided to give it a 2 bc I was willing to pay for a subscription, paid the weekly fee, and then decided to cancel my subscription and delete it. Pro: editing text is super nice. I love the font options and how VideoUpMovieMakerEditor displays where insta/tik toks captions lay so you don’t put text in an inconvenient spot. Con: if you’re pinching to size your text bigger or smaller, there’s not an automatic horizontal placement. So if I’m trying to make my text bigger & I accidentally tilt it, it’s soooo hard to get it back to straight. Pro: the automatic save feature. Con: VideoUpMovieMakerEditor glitches a LOT. like so many bugs they gotta fix. It’ll load forever until I force quit VideoUpMovieMakerEditor . But thankfully they got that automatic save. Pro: it made my insta reels less blurry. Con: it made my tik toks more blurry than if I were to just edit in app.

VideoUpMovieMakerEditor has actually been really great at helping me edit content for YT but there seems to be a weird glitch I can’t get rid of. The audio of the music I put on my edit moves by itself. Like I will find where I want the music to start, split it and delete the excess, but then when I go to play the clip it’s not split where I split it. Also wherever I start playing it from, the music is just moving around by itself and idk how to stop it doing this. App was great but now it’s glitched for me and it needs a fix before I can use it again.
