Let me preface this by saying that I understand that a lot of hard work probably went into TextStoryMaker and that the people behind it deserve to get paid. However, I am still annoyed at the fact that I can’t enter more than two characters into a chat story without a paid subscription. Maybe if I were getting paid as a content creator and was using TextStoryMaker I would get the subscription, but I’m just trying to have fun and make group chats for my story characters. I deleted my account and will continue searching for another group text generator, but from what used in the 2 minutes I had the thing active TextStoryMaker was pretty easy to use. They have lots of color options for the text bubbles which is nice.

Ok so it gets three stars because it’s a great app not including the problems. It functions well and it’s not complicated to work with. But I mean you only get like 15 messages before you gotta pay 40 DOLLARS! In a review, the developer(s) replied and said TextStoryMaker is free but some features you have to pay for. THE ONLY FREE THING IS THE BUBBLE COLORS, THE PROFILE PICS, THE NAME, AND ACTUALLY SENDING THE TEXTS. Other then that you have to pay for like everything- I’m thinking about deleting this unless they up their game. I don’t recommend it unless you’re willing to pay 40 dollars just for unlimited texts and some other perks

It’s kind of glitchy to get into TextStoryMaker but other than that it’s pretty good but that’s not the only thing bad if you want to have more than two characters you have to pay for a three day trial or just pay for TextStoryMaker that’s about it though it’s a pretty good app. You can choose photos from your pitch just to make it better, you and Maggie and original characters with the two that you can choose from but yeah, if you pay for it then it’s just about perfect but if you don’t, it’s still pretty good app have a great time.

TextStoryMaker is exactly what i need, it’s minimal and looks like the apple design with its own quirks and it’s amazing. the only complaint which draws me from using TextStoryMaker is the fact that the premium is hella overpriced. i should not have to pay $5 a month for the ability to add multiple people and photos, maybe allowing people to buy each individual expansion for a one time fee such as pictures OR more contacts would be a great idea!! i just can’t see myself using TextStoryMaker it i can’t resemble the idea of a groupchat sending funny memes without having to spend $40 yearly (cause that’s the better value)

This a good app to talk to yourself and have conversations with yourself as well. Although it does cost money if you wanna keep talking to yourself because it does have limited typing. Also it costs money for sending pictures as well. You also have limited people you can chat to and it’s only 2. If you wanna talk a little bit to yourself but not all the time TextStoryMaker is for you.

I love TextStoryMaker, but there's one tiny problem.
I have to pay in order to make more than two characters, and that kinda annoys me.

I was waiting for months to get an app like this, so I could make group chat stories. But, I hate that I have to pay in order to make more than 2 characters.
Could you please make writing group chat stories free? If that happened, I would rate TextStoryMaker 5 stars.

I actually really like TextStoryMaker and hope that I can soon start making videos of it but on thing that I’ve been trying to get in these many different apps is that even after the subscription I can’t add videos and can only add pictures so that kinda sets me back a bit because I really want to make some things a reaction but can’t do that because it’s photos only.

So I’ve used it for about a month and I did pay for it which was totally worth it but it won’t allow me to export after I did it two times. I don’t know if it was because I export it too much or there is too much texts? I was hoping it would be fixed after a few tries but it still didn’t work but overall it is a really great app and I totally recommend it!

(Only gave it 5 stars so more people can see) but anyways you latterly can’t have more then 2 characters as a want to be texttuber this actually disappoint me because a lot of people told me it was good and you should try it but to my surprise no and it’s $37 PER YEARR!!! My parents could never accept that and it’s only for 3worth full things!! It’s definitely not worth but it is if you want to spend money for a texting game!!! it if you could at least lower it down.

TextStoryMaker is great for creating realistic looking messaging projects. I think it mimics the iPhone style of messaging best of any text story app and I’m glad it exists. However, I think the message duration feature could be improved. It’s difficult to adjust via slider and there aren’t many timing options (only 1s-5s). The slider feature often glitches and causes TextStoryMaker to crash. I also wish there was a way to adjust the duration of multiple messages at a time, instead of one by one. It can take some experimentation to find the best duration timing wise for the read of a message so any way that would make it easier to change and test out durations would make TextStoryMaker a lot easier to use.

A second suggestion would be to add a way to reorder messages if you want to rearrange them. Currently you have to add them in order and there’s no way to go back in and add a message somewhere earlier in the story (you would have to delete everything).

Overall, a great app stylistically!

its a great app, thats where the 4 stars come from, its easy to use and it looks like a real conversation between people. and listen, i get having to pay for adding photos because a lot of text story apps do that. but having to pay for unlimited messages, really?! like thats annoying. you cant even get to like 10 messages before it tells you that you have to pay 40 bucks for more than 10 or so messages. i know that TextStoryMaker probably took a lot of hard work and a lot of money to make, but the least you could do is make it enjoyable for people like me, who want to use it to make a story thats longer than a few messages for 5 minutes.
either fix it or make it longer please. im not trying to be mean or anything, its a great app. i just want to have a better texting story app. thank you!

It’s a really good app an I’ve only had it two days so far but you can’t really do Mitch on it unless you pay money so far it’s only letting me use two characters an no photos an you only have a certain amount of time in storylines really realistic though amazing app needs more Stuff for people who can’t pay though? Well it’s up to you I just giving my review lol 😝 any way again really good 😊

This game opened me up!! I talk to myself and it’s like wow, I’m not a dry person! I didn’t buy the thing, you’ll see when you get th e app, and it was the same! It was the best game, even without it, so I bet whenever you do buy the thing you’ll be amazed. It kept me entertained for hours! ❤️ I truly love this game and I think it should be used more. It’s better than the other games too, there are some other good ones, but this one is GOOD!! ❤️❤️🤞🤞 I recommend you get it, if you love texting 💬

Rating 5 so more people will see while I was making a test chat to see how it worked I wanted to add a third person and I saw you could add more than 2 people so I decided to do that! I added the photo the name and whatever else you had to do so I clicked the button that let you create and it led me to the subscription and this would be fine but I excepted it to be free because I read the description of TextStoryMaker and when I got to the chat tales plus it didn't say any features!

It’s honestly the most realistic app I’ve ever used as text because like I’ve never like seen like this most like realistic app actually looks like messages except like one like like like messengers, but like from the outside when you like, exit it like a little square like a little like a little big for messenger, but it’s like honestly really good that’s my review and yeah, it’s really good. Other people should download it.

I like TextStoryMaker, I get to make little stories and prank people as well. I just wish that we can make group chats for free. But the game is fun! Other than the group chat, TextStoryMaker allows you to write stories and write all you really want to say, as well for the person your texting. You can make both characters communicate how ever you want. You make up random names and their photos, as well as who is the main character. I like TextStoryMaker so much! It’s a great app to feel free to write whatever you want!! I definitely recommend TextStoryMaker! Thank you for creating this and for letting us create dialogues! Thumbs up👍

For SOME People it’s not very safe to put in personal info in an app, but if u don’t then you barely can send any messages and you have NO CONTROL it’s like your forcing us if we get TextStoryMaker you have to pay to use it it’s ridiculous I don’t recommend at all! And I’m only giving 5 star for ppl to see my comment, not turning back even after the response from the developer

Proudly subscribed to TextStoryMaker for 2 years. Since then, it has made fantastic improvements for the user interface. I love the ways that you can save the chats as images since I was already doing that but had to always crop every photo so that the images wouldn’t overlap duplicated messages.

Since 2 years ago, I’ve adapted a hobby in writing dialogue for ads or short stories and TextStoryMaker is fantastic for just creating characters and simply pressing a character icon and applying messages. It’s quick and easy for jotting down dialogue as the ideas just flow through my head.

Only thing that I wish was a little better was being able to move the messages around. There’s a bit of a sweet spot for it just above a chat bubble. I also kind of miss the original color template. Is it possible to have more colors to work with?

And, also, does the future of TextStoryMaker intend to adapt some AI chat features to help use dialogue memory to develop next couple of message responses?

I rated it 5 stars for more people to see this. I do NOT recommend TextStoryMaker. Before downloading, READ MY REVIEW! You’d expect it to be free before downloading, but no. The only free things are the name & bubble color and the chat name. The rest? You have to pay 40 DOLLARS. You can only send 15 messages before it asks you to pay. I am a BIG story writer and it honestly hurts to see that I have to pay an app to write stories. I want to be creative, I don’t wanna pay for that. I genuinely hate this game. Don’t waste your time downloading, this game is NOT for you, unless you like to spend a lot of money to do simple things in an app like THIS.

When I got it it was amazing! We did the $40 plan and it was just fun after that! I love creating fun stories that people would enjoy. and I think it should be five stars for me because it is absolutely awesome/amazing! Absolutely love this game right now! I was about to go play it and I was in TextStoryMaker and I came to write this review! I suggest making better games like this and more awesome games to the developers that made this game! This game is awesome like I said. It’s kind of addicting to me now. It is awesome! I love it I hope everyone else that plays this game loves it too and gives you guys an awesome review! stay positive developers and good job making such a good game like this I love it! that’s all for me good evening!
