Nomorobo Max Spam Call Blocker Reviews

BUYER BEWARE! NOT USER FRIENDLY! I Can’t get it out of my phone it’s like having a very bad virus! I’ve spent hours trying to figure out how to use the application and how to GET IT OUT OF MY PHONE! Ive been trying for months to get it out of my phone and my money back. I paid for a year they make it very hard for you especially when you’re a busy person to stop it and remove it from your phone and give you a refund. Then another month goes by and you find you still have it. It’s like a scam itself Every call says “screened caller” you don’t know who it is. All my messages are gone texts are gone as well. When you think your texting that one person multiple if not ALL the numbers get the same message from you like a group text how embarrassing that can be! Furthermore, I’ve lost a lot of jobs and future jobs over NomoroboMaxSpamCallBlocker! I’ve had multiple people tell me it was strange and then it was like the line went dead while NomoroboMaxSpamCallBlocker is trying to call me to see if I want to except the new caller or not. I want a full refund you thieves!!

Still getting spam texts and calls from the same Mac loan scam artist. Have reported and blocked multiple numbers emails etc on multiple apps even 7726 which blocks them for a day till they spam on another number. What is the point of having a phone/text when you get nothing but harassed by scammers and these premium apps don’t really do much as they can’t keep up with the spoofed numbers/emails. This is for the trial doubt I will get premium as this does not fix my spam problem. And yes I have followed the apps install enabling call and txt block on the settings tab and using iOS 18.

App works great, huge huge fan of the original nomorobo.

I signed up and set up NomoroboMaxSpamCallBlocker, kept the generic voicemail message after listening to it to make sure it was just like my regular generic voicemail message.

I got my first unknown call and discovered there’s a second message that callers get, one with a robot voice that advertises nomorobo before asking for the callers name and why they called. Customer support said there’s no way to change that message.

There’s no indication *at all* during NomoroboMaxSpamCallBlocker setup that there’s this second message that advertises nomorobo to unknown callers. I get plenty of legit unknown calls, it’s so sketchy that NomoroboMaxSpamCallBlocker is set up to advertise nomorobo to all of them and I get to pay for the privilege. Might not be an issue if you don’t get legit unknown callers regularly but wow did I dodge a bullet finding that out with a misdial from an airline baggage claim office and not on a work call.

Customer support was totally unapologetic and not concerned at all that this came off as incredibly deceptive and that customers might not want to slap big yellow nomorobo sticker on all their unknown incoming calls.

Ridiculous. This is my first review on NomoroboMaxSpamCallBlocker store and it is shameful that it has to be to call out this behavior.

NomoroboMaxSpamCallBlocker only works the first time you utilize it and then doesn’t record anything anymore. Any unknown call is indeed silenced… but without knowing all business numbers. It’s silenced my TruGreen appointments due to personal cells being used.

All voicemails recorded in my phone as “missed” cause it was sent to nomomax. Then I go to nomomax, and there’s no detected phone call, no voicemail. But my iPhone said it was sent to voicemail. Have to reach out to customer support and they say to just delete the whole app, reset it up all over again. Which I did just now, of course the test phone call works it’s from NomoroboMaxSpamCallBlocker provider. Then I get an unknown call noted as spam, sent to voicemail, and I go to check again. And nomomax lost the call in its records and has no history of a phone number I just received on my iPhone. I dunno what’s going on but it seems to mostly be blocking all calls and texts. I wonder what other important phone calls and text messages it’s blocked that I should have seen. Pretty frustrated with this since I paid for annnual subscription.

Been using Nomo Max for a month now and from what I can tell all it does for me is blocking all the calls from people that are not in my contact list. Well iOS can do that already so I am really not sure what this does better. I actually missed some important call because of NomoroboMaxSpamCallBlocker. And for scam they keep getting logs over and over even if I report them as scam calls they keep showing up as « Not Reported Yet » what’s the point of taking the time to report them in details.

Starting to question if this is not just another scam.

I loved the regular Nomorobo, so this has to be better right? Not really. I use this for my business phone due to all of the spam SBA, Federal blah blah, website, Google scams etc but it also blocks non-spam customers. Unfortunately it has silenced and blocked a few of my incoming customer calls and while I have caught them due to the notifications, sometimes it is too late and my customer has moved on costing me revenue. Call reporting is also not as easy with this version. I am going back to the regular version.

Had the 2 week free trial thing and it blocked maybe 4 or 5 calls.
The thing is, I always have had “send unknown callers to voicemail” on anyways. (or whatever that setting is called) so instead of getting 1 notification that a call was blocked, I get 2. Which is silly.
I guess the biggest benefit is the call screening since I was able to see what the callers were saying. But that’s it.

The SMS blocker did literally nothing. Lol. I’ve received plenty of spam texts in the time that my free trial was active and none of them were blocked or even filtered.

The only problem I have with NomoroboMaxSpamCallBlocker I got to uninstall the when every it can't Update then I have to turn my phone off Back on before I reinstall the Nomorobo on my phone again so could you guys please get in touch with Apple so you guys can fix this issue, please thank you enjoy your day.

I had an issue with the original installation but their tech support had it resolved in short order. Since then my phone has never been so quiet. If it wasn’t for the numerous red blocked calls I would think my service was dead. I especially like the call screening. I have allowed a few calls but the overall majority are robo and scam calls which I then report and block. I love the option to block and hang up. Nomorobo is my personal call screener who never takes a day off.

I hardly ever review apps but felt compelled to write one for Nomorobo. It works, I really love the call screening feature for non-spam numbers it has where the virtual agent will let me know who is calling and place the caller on hold until I accept / reject call. I was a bit skeptical at first about the call forwarding setup but after trying it for a couple of weeks I cannot recommend it enough. No robó calls have been allowed through and no important non-spam numbers have been blocked due to the call screening feature!

The only app suggestion I have as a multi-esim user is I would love NomoroboMaxSpamCallBlocker to support its features on more than one line. As a Canadian ex pat I have both a Canadian and US number and cannot take full advantage of this on both lines. This is the only reason I did not give NomoroboMaxSpamCallBlocker a perfect score.

For single-line users NomoroboMaxSpamCallBlocker should work like a charm.

Love love love the idea and the concept. I need this, I get SO many calls from spoofed numbers all day and it’s such a waste of time just to decline the calls and send them to voicemail in the first place.

The only issue—I first downloaded the other Nomorobo app before I saw on Scammer Payback that there was a “max” version with a discounted family and friends plan. I want myself, my parents, and my fiancé protected so I went for that through their “payback” link!

But I had already downloaded the regular app & signed up for that free trial (1.99/month). For some reason, I got stuck in a loop trying to get past the subscription signup page on Nomo Max. I closed out NomoroboMaxSpamCallBlocker , reopened it, deleted and redownloaded multiple times, but couldn’t get past the subscription page. It just keeps saying I already have a subscription but won’t take me past the page. So we ended up signing up on my fiancé’s account instead, but I thought NomoroboMaxSpamCallBlocker developers should know in case anyone else is experiencing this issue!

I have been using regular version of Nomorobo for a couple years. It worked very good but a few calls would get through. Nomorobo Max is stopping about 99% of them. There was a learning curve in the beginning and some work to add people into my contacts. But it's working great and I tell people about it.

I’ve used NomoRobo since 2023 until I had to cancel it because at the time I changed phone carriers it didn’t support Spectrum Mobile. It did but the full features weren’t supported like it was with Verizon. I decided to check today to see if anything changed within the past couple months and it did so I ditched RoboKiller and back to NomoRobo! I love NomoRobo. Ever since I discovered NomoRobo it stops 99% of calls. Once in a while it’ll cancel a call I might be expecting but I always go through the screen call list to see if it’s a call I was expecting but didn’t go through or if a message was left. I also love nomoRobo because it has a list where I can add blocked numbers. Thank you nomorobo for giving Spectrum Mobile customers the full support just like Verizon Wireless! I’m not sure what exactly changed but thank you so much for whatever was done! I always recommend NomoRobo because it really is the best app to screen unwanted calls, another thing is when I look up a number it also lists the name of the caller or business.

NomoroboMaxSpamCallBlocker is awesome. Thanks to Scammer Payback for recommending it. Works like a charm. I’m sure there’s a lot of passed scammers out there. I’ve thought about how I could block them from calling me and low and behold works like a champ. It also helps contribute to Scammer Paybacks mission to help protect innocent people from being scammed by Scammers from mostly India, lol. Thanks guys. Love that show and if you haven’t seen it watch it and see if you can’t contribute to a worthy cause and join the fight.

So tired of call and text scams! Last month a scammer tried to wire money from my bank to Pakistan! Fortunately I went to my bank and closed the account. I did have to open a new one which had its own set of hassles. But no money got transferred due to 3 layers of authentication.

This morning I accidentally found a video about Nomorobo and The Peoples Scam. I Immediately downloaded NomoroboMaxSpamCallBlocker which was the easiest process ever! I am now all set to repel future scammers!

Nomorobo Max is completely magical! I no longer get stewpid calls all day long. Max grabs then usually before my call phone even rings at all. I then get a brief audio and transcription of the callers feeble attempt to waste my time and scam me, so that I know that call was bogus. When a legit call gets blocked and they leave enough identifying info to let me know as much, I can often pick up the call while they’re still waiting or easily tap on their number and call them right back (and then quickly add them to my contacts). Max is well worth the subscription cost to avoid spam calls and texts!

Former nomorobo user who was debating not renewing because it didn’t live up to the promises of not interrupting me due to constant 10 second silenced voicemails. As a prepaid user without voicemail to text support I’d waste time having to listen to them.

Nomorobo max solves it, by having a screening system and visual voicemail provided. Now they don’t even show up unless they listen to my recording. In addition after encountering a bug with changing from monthly to yearly their support within one day emailed me multiple times and pushed a live update to fix it.

This is the best quality of life subscription service available. And because it’s paid and not ad supported, you know they are working to keep their customers rather than sell their data or spam them with other ads.

Get the max app rather than basic if your carrier supports it. It’s far better.

Since I installed which was maybe like 3 hours ago , I’ve already had like 20-30 unknown analyzed then blocked numbers . I love it because my greeting is a computer greeting just like them . On top of that , it’s feels good seeing they try to contact me with a different number right after and the same thing happens . In addition, spam messages are thrown to the side as well and I have 140 of those in this short time . It’s like I found my significant other half 😁😂GREAT APP keeping the subscription

I typically don’t leave reviews for apps but I have to commend it! I’ve tried so many other robo-caller apps and I’ve had issues such as whether NomoroboMaxSpamCallBlocker was too aggressive (also blocked calls from my loved ones) or NomoroboMaxSpamCallBlocker allowed spam callers (which defeats the purpose of a robo caller blocker app). NomoroboMaxSpamCallBlocker is on top of it! It keeps track up to the second which phone numbers are spoof-callers.

I probably get 30-50 spam calls. I’m a student and there’s no need for all those calls. NomoroboMaxSpamCallBlocker does a great job not to bug me. I’m glad I paid for a years subscription. Literally works super hard!

I previously wrote a comment with only a 2- star rating because NomoroboMaxSpamCallBlocker stopped working as soon as the trial ended, even though it had turned into a paid app. I wasn’t getting a response from support but that turned out to be a problem on my end not receiving responses. The problem turned out to be a need to uninstall and reinstall NomoroboMaxSpamCallBlocker and it’s been working great ever since. Great app and it completely stops spam calls.
