An Okay Game

I was really excited about this game because I love playing the Animal Restaurant. Although it really fun the have a design game without the mini games I have some issues with it. The way the game is designed it technically doesnt allow you to design each room to your own taste. Theres goals you have to achieve in order to earn additional cookies to what the customers gives. Then you have your daily goals and other side goals. All except the daily goals, are tailored to each character and what they want in the resort which makes it difficult for the llayer to design the rooms to their taste because you are constantly forced to add items that customers will enjoy so that they can get a higher liking to the resort which then in return makes you earn more cookies.

Another issue I have is the way the developers designed the screen face. There soooo much going on in the screen that when special characters arrive or “evil” characters they go off to the sides of the screen causing accidental clicking on items and then time runs out. Its very frustrating. I really liked the menus for animal restaurant because it didnt take up a lot of space and i liked the bar notifications of when someone was entering the restaurant. Im not quite fond of the layout of the menu on this game. Over all its a good game just not a design game because you are forced to design it how the developer wants you to and without upgrading you are stuck not incurring cookies.

Adorable & fun game

I have been playing this game for about 5 months and I love it! Everything about this game is so cute, but it’s just the currency that gives me a bit of a frustration. You have to watch a bunch of ads just to get more cookies & sometimes it can be an annoyance, but I somehow got used to it. The game can be fun but only for a while. It can get pretty boring fast. The only reason why I last long in this game is because I stay on to watch ads for cookie currency. Other than that, there’s really nothing there for me to do besides attending to customers needs and collecting cookies in rooms. I would like to suggest the game to have an option for us players to interact with each other… Probably something like a chat room where we can leave compliments on other users profile about their rooms, or like having a dm to chat back and fourth. I think this would make the game more fun. Plus it allows players to interact with others, other than just being on each other’s friend list. It can be lonely playing sometimes. Additionally, having a world chat would also be nice. :D

I love this game but there’s a few changes I’d like.

I started playing resortiopia when it first came out and I fell in love I recently started playing it again and I still love it but the rearranging of furniture and decorations can be extremely tedious. Instead of having to hold and drag every item with the camera shifts every time you go to move an item I would love it if you could rearrange and decorate without interruption like a live game mode with the visitors walking around and a separate layout mode to decorate your resort without the camera moving and you could simply just drag every item it would make this so much easier since there would not be any constant back and forth. One last thing would be the ability to turn all items 360 degrees instead of just some, it’s slightly frustrating not being able to move everything exactly how I’d like it but other than i love everything about this game it’s so much fun and so cute if that one aspect was changed it would make game play more engaging and user friendly.

There are some questions..

This game is fun and all but one big question: why did you want my location?! It’s a kids game so I don’t understand why location is needed, especially since you just digitally collect money, get customers, etc. seemed extremely suspicious. Also, the main character looks like Isabelle from Animal Crossing if she became alcoholic. Don’t understand why some characters look so ugly sometimes. One minute it’s and adorable little koala making the cutest snoring, then it’s this weird red, dragon type character asking “come tickle me!” ?????? Even the customers around reply with a “weirdo in red.” Even the fellow NPCs know what’s up. Genuinely wanted to troll with a review so idk get the game it’s ok so far. T~
EDIT!!
Hello, a formal apology to the game developer lol. I was mostly just bored when I wrote the first review and now I realized I am now addicted to this game. I haven’t been addicted to a game in a while, and this one is so cute. I’ve figured out so much of the game (like how to character that says tickle me isn’t weird he’s just a luck dragon) and the main character ( a dog) is someone bearable now. I’m sorry, he’s just so ugly.
I will recommend this to other people now.

Fun game with amazing characters :)

I love this game for a lot of reasons.
It’s not flooded with ads. There’s ads you can watch to get cookies, more visitors, etc, which is honestly not bad and I’m so thankful there’s no pop up ads.
All of the characters are so cute and fun. I love when you get to talk to them.
There’s multiple things you can do such as styling the rooms, getting ingredients to get new food items in the restaurant, making the potion things at the sauna, the random mini things like the guy you have to tickle, the mice, when it rains, is foggy, windy, the character that goes on adventures, the tasks, achievements, ETC

I think the only negative I have is how it takes a long time to buy some things because it’s so pricy. I will save up and have over 100k cookies and can only buy one thing before running out of cookies. It’s starting to take a long time to complete Pineapple’s wishes and whenever the characters want you to do something. I haven’t even gotten to the designing part of the game because all of the items are super pricy and I’ve only bought items for tasks so my rooms are just cluttered with random stuff to give me popularity.

Besides that, I love how many things are in this game. There is always something to do and there’s so many fun characters. I don’t even mind getting the “bad” characters like the mice and the cookie eater guy because they’re fun.
I’m used to seeing very simple, boring, ad filled games, so finding this game was so refreshing.

don't really like new update

the new update makes it so that i have to buy the starter furniture for each room 😕 that's hella expensive for the 4F rooms and i was excited when i saved enough to buy all new furniture for room 402 but they also increased the popularity needed for the furniture and now i have to buy the starter furniture for 402 as well. that's like an extra 20 million that i need to spend on top of the furniture set that i wanted to get, which is like 30 million (or more i can't even see the price anymore cuz of them forcing me to get the starter furniture). my room 401 already has the chinese theme so i really don't need 402 to have the same furniture 😭 don't really feel like this is fair ngl and i played this game religiously lol.
i can't even buy the peach/white theme in room 401 now cuz they increased the popularity requirement from 3600+ to 4400+ and popularity is the hardest thing to get in the game so i really don't think increasing it by 1200 popularity is reasonable.
summary : making us buy the starter furniture to unlock that type of furniture is kind of trashy

Great game, unfortunately timed fortunes

Great game, been playing it daily for almost half a year now. It’s one of those games you can either play for just a few minutes a day or you can sink a few hours into by decorating your resort and individual rooms to your liking.
They added in a fortune room recently that allows you to draw daily fortunes, normally they’re all random and vague things that have zero relevance to my life, boosting about my love life, work, friends and family, etc. I usually give them a quick read just for fun and move on with my day w/o a second thought. But I found out my rabbit has cancer and will pass very soon and the fortune I drew later that same day explained that the card “bode ill for babies and pets.” Absolutely abysmal timing for someone doing end of life care for a long-time pet who just wanted a brief distraction but otherwise great game would recommend.

love love love! few suggestions

i love this game so much it’s disgusting. like i spend a lot of time on it. huge fan. a couple of small things that would improve my user experience.

1. wish i could upgrade my employees. bubble, titan, and even udon don’t really have that much energy. i feel like i wait all day for bubble to produce like 15 new ingredients for concoctions. i wish we could use bonbons or cookies to upgrade their capabilities, either making their capacity higher or the speed at which their energy renews a lot faster.

2. the share feature needs a lot of work. i don’t have a facebook and i really really didn’t want to get one. but i did, solely so i could share Resortopia . but it said share failed. maybe make it so i can share the link thru messages or through other messaging apps instead of just facebook. that’s frustrating.

3. i wish pineapple would still give me tasks. in addition to the daily tasks, i wish pineapple would give me occasional tasks so i have something to work up to, and get a reward for. i feel like i’m just working for myself at this point and i miss the beginning stages of the game when i felt accomplished when i finished something bc pineapple would congratulate me. (:

might add more suggestions in the future but these are my thoughts. REALLY REALLY enjoying the game so far. i love what you’ve made it into. so so so fun

AMAZING !! So good!

I downloaded, PocketLove, and from there I saw an ad and it looked cute and interesting so I went ahead downloaded it. And let me tell you from the very start, it was addicting like before I realized it, I had played the game for like 3 hrs with no break 😀

The game has a really cute design, that gives you a comfortable feeling as your playing it .The characters have their own uniqueness, my favorite one so far is the grumpy bear, he looks cute in the bath-rope..🥺♥️ and they’re also funny too like the police officer who’s a cute huski. 🦴🐾
I feel like after it you get a hang of it you’ll understand it better. But once it starts it goes kind of quick like you need to this and that, help this customer, check the kitchen, watch for that mouse, and also watch ads for money (gotta admit it tho, they’re interesting), so it becomes hard to stop because you see how many things you have to do, but it’s really fun 😊😆

WOW LOVE IT

When I saw this game I thought it was one of those offline games and I was going to like delete it right away right BUT NO this game is wonderful you can spend money and when I got to 80,000 I was so happy you can decorate every part of it and you can see your restaurant it’s so cute you start off with really cute characters and little gingerbread man that you press for your customers. This game is amazing please read it so you can tell about how amazing it is because it’s really is amazing I love it so much that I even spent money on it you should do that too it’s really fun and there’s a lot of stuff you can do on there and it gives you cute characters and cute little outfits that you can buy just. Do you know what just do it and also the game is free even though you can buy stuff on there you can download it for free and you can do a lot of stuff for free it just takes a little time but it is so fun trust me !!!!!

Easy going, your own effort type of game!

This game is great if you want to play on your own time and put however much effort in that you can. So much better than games that force you to watch ads instead of integrating them for rewards like this game does. Also they’re pretty good about not getting you hooked at first and then suddenly everything becomes really expensive or hard to get (which is also what a lot of games do). Only complaint is that I wish the rooms had the same rates when upgrading. And I don’t mean different leveled rooms because obviously the higher level is nicer but from room 200 to 201 the rates to buy or upgrade is more in one room and makes it harder to put effort into making both rooms look nice. Or at least when you buy extra decor I expected to have access to them in the other room as well but had to buy the same thing twice. All in all I love the game definitely would recommend.

BEST INTERIOR DESIGN GAME EVER!

I LOVE THIS GAME! There are so many options with this game and so much variety to choose from. You don't have to buy with your real money anything to succeed, and instead you watch 30 seconds adds. The thing I like about this game is that watching ads gives you boosts rather than having to buy those boosts. I think it's definitely something that you could play for hours and never get bored. I like how even when you're not playing you get money, because in EVERY OTHER home design game, getting money takes so long. Here, you are constantly getting more and more money, so sometimes your low but it doesn't take long to get enough. Some times if your maybe like 10% short it will let you have that discount it will have you watch only an add and bam- you get that item. I like how they don't overuse the ads unless YOU want boosts, where in other games ads just pop up randomly and it's so annoying to deal with. I always cancel out of the game and get back in to get rid of the ad and then I lose my progress and it's so annoying. I, again, also like the variety of characters, they're very cute. I really like the design of them. I think that maybe Pineapple could be a little more helpful and I wish there was a little more dialogue with the characters but overall I think it's a really great game
and it's probably my favorite game ever!

Resortopia

This is a wonderful game I think it’s a five out of five star rating
I love it so much I’ve been hooked ever since I got it and I think I definitely think everybody to read this review would love it too they download it I also think this is a really challenging game but it also can be really easy you have a lot of help so yeah I think it would be a great game to challenge you and work your mind my favorite character is the pink one and the koala they’re so cute so I think that this should be a national game but that’s just me it’s my opinion not yours but thank you so much if you supported this game and thank you for giving me your rating it’s a really really fun game it can be hard and you can be challenging but this game is wonderful so if I have to rate it 0 to 10 I will give it not even a 10 I’ll give it 1000 out of 10 I download it like two years ago and I’m a pro at it nowMy resort is getting millions of dollars a day so I’m saying to you not your opinion but I think that you guys would love it my whole family loves it my brother as soon as he saw me playing on it he was like hey can I play too so yeah I’m just gonna have to say that this is a 1000 out of 10 thank you for supporting this app

Download ASAP!

I got this game about five months ago and I’m absolutely in love with it. The only ads in this game appear if you choose to watch them for rewards, don’t pop up and annoy you, and the rewards are super helpful to the development of your resort! I’m a 15-year-old high schooler who spends a lot of time doing extracurriculars, and this game is a great way to de-stress. There’s always something fun to do! The characters are super well developed and have amazing plotlines, as well as super cute designs. My personal favorite is a koala named Pillow! Even though I’ve been playing this game for a while now, there’s a ton of more achievements and a few more rooms I haven’t unlocked, so it’s not a quick download-and-delete once you finish everything. Plus, I haven’t spent a penny on this game! It’s not pay-to-play, but from what I’ve seen, the bonus pack might be helpful. I’m considering getting it since I play this game so much lol. If you haven’t already, go download this!!!

SOO CHARMING!!

this game is genuinely so fun and cool! i've been playing for like three weeks now, and i love it so much. there aren't ads blowing up in your face every second, only ads for rewards like Extra Money or Refreshing a Menu, and honestly i've watched so many already to get said rewards. the characters are such a good mix of cute, ugly, questionable-looking, you name it, and i love that about the game. there are so many guests to take care of.

my resort is at about 2,600 popularity, so i've unlocked a lot of things, and i have so much fun with it all. i found the game randomly when looking for new games to pass the time, and this has not disappointed. really, my only critique? i wish the fog weather lasted longer! it helps when i'm looking for specific guests to invite due to someone's Wishlist for it.

there are even hidden easter eggs around the map! little rewards hiding in plain sight. i think i've found 3 or 4, im not sure how many more there are, but if there are any im excited to find them! i love this game and it's charming atmosphere, a genuinely great game.

download right now you will not regret!!!

this is the BEST DESIGN GAME EVER!!! every time i download a design game, i find like in homescapes, i am stuck on a level and makes me pay. gardenscapes, same. penny & flo, same. this is different. it doesnt really have official levels, so no getting stuck. it also has reasonable prices for stuff. the olympic hotel is SO COOL, but it costs 2999 gems. luckily, i was able to get it in like a month of playing WITHOUT ANY MONEY SPENT. there are also cute minigames like the spa person has a merge minigame, and curry has a little game board which makes the game interesting. there is also no furniture limit, so you can decorate all you want!!! i have been playing for a few months now and i am only 16% done with the whole thing, which means it will entertain me for a while! all in all, you better downoad it and you wont regret it!
one thing tho-
one thing i got frustrated with is that the decorations don't face backwards. they can only rotate front and left, but no right or back facing. it is not a major issue though, just a little thing i got frustrated with. ty!

my favorite game :)!

i have been playing for only 4 days and it’s honestly amazing; i would even argue it’s my favorite game on my mobile device. i love how there’s always SOMETHING to keep you busy (whether it be small tasks, new characters, new features as you “level up”, and more!) what’s surprising about this game is it’s NOT ad-based (only when you want to watch ads of course, but it’s entirely optional) i downloaded this game in the first place by searching up “cute games” on Resortopia store- i was a little reluctant to download it at first because i recognized the game in some ads i’ve seen before. the ads gave me a negative perception of the game since it literally looked like every other game that’s purely based off of ads with money-hungry creators. my only suggestion for the developers would be to switch up their ads and not exaggerate their content so much- other than that, Resortopia itself is fantastic and i recommend that you all try it out!
also, i wanted to suggest that the game developers allow us to copy and paste layouts into other rooms :) thank u!

Great game, however

So I’ve been playing this game on and off for well over a year now. And I have only one concern with the most recent update. The fact that I can no longer use candies to refill the manager’s energy and I have to use pinwheels instead. I’ve spent money on this game before, no problem, but it was one of the major f2p(??) things that was helpful without needing to drop beaucoup money. I don’t want to have to spend actual money just to refill energy thats going to go away again in less than a couple minutes. Or could you guys at least make it both options to where people use candies and pinwheels? For example if I run out of candies for boosting the manager energy, I have the option to use pinwheels to either refill the energy, or use them to buy more candy to refill it. Because either way, money will be spent regardless. I don’t know if the idea can be worked around or if a compromise needs to be made, but I would love it if I were able to use the candy again for that. That’s really all I had. I have no issues with this game otherwise.

Super addicting

I came across this game because I thought it was cute. I’ve tried a few games similar to this but after a month I would get bored. As you progress, you unlock new areas and new furniture available to you for decorating rooms. Of course, this is very common in games like this, but a lot of the time it would take weeks to get to new areas. While in this game, it would maybe take 3 days, so in this way I’m still interested in the game. I’ve played for a while now and and I still feel like there’s a lot more I can do. I also got a friend into this game, they enjoy the game but they aren’t the biggest in decorating the rooms but thanks to the system where everyday you can see and copy 2 other people’s rooms, they enjoy seeing what designs are available everyday. There is a small annoyance though, everyday some things reset and I believe because of the time zones, I don’t get the reset until around 4:00 pm. (I live in North America) When I started, there wasn’t an option to say where you live or what time it was but this isn’t a big issue and it doesn’t give away to the enjoyment of the game.

This game is so good!!

This is honestly the best mobile game I’ve played in a really long time. It’s so cute and lighthearted, and it’s fun to progressive through building the resort. There’s always a lot of stuff to do and I never get bored! You never have to pay with real money unless you really want to, and you don’t have to watch many ads. I really recommend this game!

A lot of people are saying the npc energy levels are too low but it’s never really bothered me. It’s also easy to replenish energy with a short ad!

The only criticism I have is about sharing the game. You can get rewards for “sharing” to social media, but the only available app is Facebook. I don’t have Facebook and I don’t plan on getting it. I feel like a lot of the people who play this game don’t have it either, so the developers should really add more options, like other social media or messaging apps.
