im not too sure why or if it is a me problem, but the app does not allow you to change your profile picture, or have a profile for that matter. it also does not actually “connect” with any other travelers as the website did. it’s a pretty pointless app. the website was much better.

It’s amazing how the app is called ef connect and yet they removed the option to message other people in the school, a feature that worked in the previous app for years. Even then in that app the messaging feature worked horribly, and instead of trying to improve it they just decided to scrap it entirely.

I give the app experience a one star, as it is not possible to give less. The app looks good, but there is little or no information in it (probably a back-end issue, even if the app was perfect it does not work without data being feed in somewhere, and it is absolutely not happening) We were at the airport ready to leave for a three week stay and there iwere still no travel or accommodation information available.
Don’t select EF because of their fancy web or app, as it does not currently work. After an hour on hold I informed them, and asked them to ensure the data were inserted. As for campus credits? Ordered through the app, account charged but the credits are nowhere to be found. Next time we will also consider any smaller language school with real people supporting and answering the phone
