FAX from iPhone - Send Doc Reviews

I have been, using this service over a year and now I'm having problems if I'm not using the service why they keep charging there's no phone number where to call. Where is the council before it was easier if you use it, they would charge you for a week and then if you want to use it again, they would not charge you.

First, the bait and switch on the free trial. It’s not shown anywhere on the subscribe page. Giving your cheapest option be $6.99 weekly.

Second, it just plain doesn’t work. Got a 403 error when attempting to use FAXfromiPhone . Support is just an email to a gmail address.

Since I had a fax to send, I just deleted FAXfromiPhone and installed another one. Lesson learned, Read the reviews before downloading an app.

I had no problem sending my fax.

I do however wish the free trial was advertised. No where in FAXfromiPhone does it show you how to/where to cancel subscription services despite them being an automatic renewal.

FAXfromiPhone needs basic updates to be more user friendly.

So I pay for a subscription because there is a fax I need to send. The number I’m sending to is busy ( government). FAXfromiPhone has no retry and after multiple attempts I start to get a dev error that won’t send or attempt to send the fax. Poor excuse of an app.

This scam app continues to bill weekly even after the subscription is cancelled. Do not trust.

UPDATE: Received a developer update stating that “this is how subscriptions work.”

No, it’s not. I cancelled the subscription shortly after starting use of FAXfromiPhone , many days before the renewal date. And I was billed on the renewal date anyway.

Makes you do all the work thinking you can just fax. Then requests a 6.99/wk subscription. Yes, $28/month just to fax. If you just need it once in a blue moon, they don’t even offer a 99¢ or $1 single fax. They just make you go through all the work before trying to rip you off. I wouldn’t mind paying, but they are trying to do you dirty.

There’s NOWHERE to call anyone for help. I literally paid 7 dollars to send a fax and it’s saying I’m not subscribed so they can’t send my fax. But I checked my subscription and I AM subscribed. I literally paid for it. I’ve been trying over and over again but still same error. They are STEALING money from you. I’m going to report them, they are thieves.

I had a certain point you got a wonder if apple’s ever gonna crack down on false advertising in the titles of applications they sell on their store. By no means is this application free in any sense the word in order to even test it out you have to pay a minimum of seven dollars, the service is fine and all but I freaking hate being lied to.

Edit: in response to the developers comment: if you knew you couldn’t provide a free service than you knew to not include it in the title. You choose to include it in the title bc you want people to download your app over other apps that provide similar services. Your goal is to intentionally mislead the customer. Thank you for admitting it in your response to me.

Will charge you min $6.99 subscription just to send one fax, but they make you upload everything first, documents, cover sheet, etc.. then when you click ‘send fax’ they give you the awesome news that you’ll have to pay $6.99 minimum or find another service that’s free & upload everything again. Subscriptions are ok, Don’t get me wrong. But this was very deceptive & I don’t trust developers who create deceptive apps -and neither should you :)

As some have stated, it attempted to send a few times, gave one error, and now has a pop up error that won’t even attempt to send. I expect a refund. It’s silly to own an app for 15 minutes for $7 of nothing but wasted time. I’d love to have someone prove my scam theory wrong, but usually when sending a fax, it’s a time-sensitive matter, and slow service is no service in this situation. Disappointed.

This program did not work to send faxes. I had. Time sensitive fax that I though got sent did not get sent. Do not want this service and want a refund for billing me all them extra weeks thinking your service worked when it didn’t

I paid the subscription fee and over 23 attempts to 3 different fax lines only 5 “deliveried”. If that was not bad enough contacted the other side to see if they received any of the 5 that “delivered” and they say they have not received one. Do not waste your money.

They say you can try for free, but they won’t let you do so. They’ll force you to subscribe before sending anything without letting you know ahead of time. I’m sure FAXfromiPhone is fine, but I don’t appreciate being deliberately misled.

I got FAXfromiPhone because I was in need of sending a fax really fast. Signed up for FAXfromiPhone. Did everything I needed, then had to PAY to send the fax! I canceled subscription right after faxing the first document and just got charged! I am trying to figure out how to REALLY cancel this subscription! There’s no FREE in anything.

It took several tries before the fax would go through. It kept saying it wasn’t sent. Very frustrating when you’re paying for this.

I sent review before the fax was complete. Im marking 2 stars because it seems FAXfromiPhone is data encrypted and the docs are not saved. But your personal info is. There’s no one to contact when fax doesn’t go through. (I’ve contacted receiver and they are awaiting fax). If app issue there is no one to contact.

Great app, However there is no option to sign your signature on the documents. FAXfromiPhone claims you get a week worth access for $6.99 but doesn’t really give you seven days before renewal. It charged me after five days. Because of the fast renewal my rating is low because of the two things I mentioned.

Used FAXfromiPhone for a 1 time purchase and they continue to charge me additional charges on an automatic renewal?!?!
I only needed time purchase and FAXfromiPhone committed fraud by adding with additional Charges through a automatic renewal that’s not what I signed up for that’s not what I needed FAXfromiPhone company are THIEVES and LIARS! STAY AWAY from this Company!!!!!
