Was fun for a couple hours until you run up against the pay wall. Add in the mechanics of the game (typical for this type) with the algorithm determining what tiles you need and giving you everything but that as well as miscalculating damage. Also seems the dev team does not want feedback as there is NO in game feedback mechanism. Seems they think the game is already perfect yet they e completely screwed up the GoT universe with the power and skills given to the characters. Horrible. Lastly, the number of non main characters that are utilized is simply assinine. Like “villager 4” is wanted or needed…wait let me grab my chicken to beat you with it. Way too many junk characters. Just not a good design of the game overall.

This is probably the worst managed game I’ve ever played. The gameplay itself is relatively fun and the character are great being that is is Game of Thrones, however the amount of money one needs to sink into this game to make it playable or competitive is ridiculous.

Furthers, the game developers give random players “King Gifts” which are summoning tokens, silver, and other resources. They do not give the entire player base these gifts. They are randomly given which is extremely unfair. The same for any type of compensation it’s giving to random players. So it’s either this company is not able to actually provide to the entire community or they rather like the ideas of some players getting an edge.

They also have bugs in the game where if it doesn’t benefit the player it’s a “well look into it.” If a bug benefits a player like the Battle of the Bastard event where the last stage gave gold and tokens upon completion they banned the account citing ToS, however using this “bug” was the exact way the game was supposed to be played - repeat levels to increase your score.

Nothing is consistent, some people got warnings and others got banned. Some get gifts others get nothing. Some get a character right away when purchasing the “Gold Road” pass while others need to wait to hit level 50 on that. It’s extremely unfair and ill managed. I would not pay for anything in this game or waste my time with a game that is not properly managed.

Game concept is fine. Unfortunately, devs don’t respect your money and buying the same packages will give you different items for different people (eg the battle pass). They still testing to see how to balance the game but rather than testing on a test server, they just figured let’s save that effort. Furthermore, all the beta testers kept their stuff so come play if you enjoy being overpowered by people who are a year ahead of you.

To get the Legendary units that you want you’ll have to spend a lot of money or wait and go through a chunk of the story just for 1 ten pull. Summoning units is also super greedy, instead of getting units you get pieces of units and you have to get enough of the pieces to unlock it. Basically even if you do a 10 pull with on legendary banner you have a chance of getting the pieces instead of the units, meaning you have to spend a bunch of money just to pull 1 character you want. Wild that this is more greedy than other gatcha games.

The game disrespects the actual spenders. I’ve spent close to 500 USD, and I do not even get any perk at all besides having tons of bad luck with the draws. Not even a VIP badge or some consolation prize. Even worse is that the game doesn’t reward having legendary heroes, most people on the iron throne have common or epic high star characters. Makes legendaries worthless, and there is 0 flexibility to making strategy since you will have spent all your money on one character who will be outmatched by f2p with high star commons. There is also huge bug where I can’t play treacherous on the campaign on chapter 2. Having already beat it on hard, it simply does not allow me to choose treacherous even though I select the option. Game breaking bug. I want my money back!!!

The game is good, but it is lacking way too many features. First and foremost you don’t have alliance world wars, where our alliance members fight another alliance as a 1v1 individual battles to sum up to a grand 1v1 alliance battle type of alliance war. These should happen every 24 hours or so, as clash of clans and other games do. Also, wish there was live battling and live replay of such battles. Add this, and the game is 5 stars and the #1 ranked game in GameofThrones Store

I expect better from you. This game is not ready to be released. There really is nothing to do but grind levels you have already cleared and do 6 raids ( PvP ) The alliance feature has nothing but chat. Zynga should know by now to let players advance early on to get them hooked on the product. However this game immediately starts with a pay wall. Max your characters early at 1* (level 50) and you are pretty much finished. Summons are so scarce the odds of ever Enhancing to the 2nd * are almost nonexistent. I love GOT, but this game is complete garbage. 1/2 of a star.

I would have thought that Zynga would have a players manual to actually describe game play, characters and all other elements of the game. For instance, I have Tyrion Lannister, what does he do when activated? I see him put some coins in a champions coffers but what does that do?

How about taking the time to put of an informative game guide, one that will allow players to actually know what happens instead of always trying to figure it out.

You have no issues with your ads for us buying stuff for the game! How about doing what’s good for the player, never know, you may retain players!

I downloaded this game the day it came out and played everyday and to a degree that I was easily completing the weekly challenges in a few days. The game is fun and a simple match jewel game.
The problem is every time you open GameofThrones it hits you with three adds that ask for your money to unlock content. Most of the content consists of legendary shards to unlock the legendary characters from the show and to say it’s expensive is to use the word lightly.
If like me you want to see the game before dropping cash then you need to know you’ll never naturally pull these characters even if you save your shards for the max pull. All you end up with is the common characters and there are so many that you’ll just end up with lots of level two useless characters.
This pretty much caps you out and you are left doing the same levels every day.
So sad I deleted the game and moved on to something else!!! Had so much potential but again greedy developers want your money more than providing a fun experience

They will charge you RIDICULOUS prices to summon heroes, and then when you do spend money for some of the more “affordable” packs and one of their monkey pox infested lgbtqliberal coders forgets to cap the reward on one of the event levels you will get banned with no recourse, with no hotfix to the issue, no warning, no official communication about it, and no explicit reason why you are banned given. All because the lazy developers who probably live in the awful state of California couldn’t be bothered to come into the office on a weekend and hotfix the game, instead they just ban 1000’s of PAYING players with NO RECOURSE because they have a clause in their terms of service that lets them terminate your account for ANY REASON. People complain that video game titles are 60-70$. Make no mistake, 60-70$ will get you VERY LITTLE PROGRESS in this terrible game with greedy developers who prey on peoples proclivity to gamble for the potential of great rewards. DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME

This game feels like Puzzles and Empires that came out 7-8 years ago where you will get stuck with the storyline battles and immediately just grind and grind to pass another story level with nothing else to do. Raid is just standard PvP with low rewards. This game needs to catch up with the improvements that many other puzzle games like this where players have many other activities to do besides storyline.

This company is trash. They release new champions with a set of stats that beta players had well before us, got us all to spend crazy amount of money for this new great healer (Alicent) then the next day after the sale campaign was done, they nerfed her so bad that not a single one of us would have ever spent on it.

And they are giving lip service on it, when clearly they are just a money grab company that doesn’t care about building a good game. There’s little to no real content other than spamming the same things over and over again.

Just another game trying to capitalize on the GOT name, without caring if they are putting out a good product that doesn’t cheat the people who give them money.

I see this going the way of Class Action just like what happened with Epic Action LLC where they had to settle out of court for millions, and if they don’t fix it soon, I know I personally will be rallying the players to join one. What a joke!

Point and click matching, but can set up to auto match.. what’s the point? Summons give you shards with only a chance at a full character.. not generous at all with beginners either. A single 10 pull? A big waste of a great IP, time, energy, and money. Don’t bother.

So I enjoyed playing this game with my wife daily and played every event and even put a small amount of cash In the game. So during one of the events recently I noticed that you could replay the event and keep gathering summon stones. I was like cool they are allowing people to get more stones during it. So I spent a whole day on the game playing g and gathering. Next day I log on and it told me that my account was banned for breach of the policy. Went to the Facebook page and seen it was a glitch and they are banning people for using it. No warning was given to me just banned. During the whole day I was playing they didn’t put out a notice saying there was a glitch and that we should not keep playing the event. I for one will not play this game anymore or waste my time or money.

DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME THEY WILL BAN YOUR ACCOUNT FOR ANY MISTAKE THEY DO IF YOU DONT SPEND ENOUGH MONEY ON THE GAME..
Greedy game only wants money.

Update, developers wrote under this post to contact the support… Did this and was told they couldn’t undo the deletion but would give me some extra gold for starting a new game. For 10 draws it’s 1500 gold and you might get lucky (when I say might like 1 out of every 5 10s get some shards for a main character, which you need 15 to unlock) to draw some shards. No thank you I don’t want gold I want my account back that I had spent playing on since the game was released.

I was really excited for this game to come out being a huge GoT fan, but sadly you can only advance so far with the team provided by game. The summoning for this game is one if the THE WORST I have ever seen/ experienced! It’s almost near impossible to earn the amount of gems required for a summon and this game is huge on you spending your hard earned money just to advance. Until this is fixed the best this game deserves is a 1 star.

Good game but can’t progress at a certain point I’ve played for two days and can’t continue to campaign. I would have to pay real money to summon and “star up” heroes to make them strong enough to continue. Even worse apple play store just let me know the game became active to play. Yet there are people saying it’s been available for 3 to 6 months already. So a bunch of people got a head start and the rest of us are playing catch up. That’s absolutely ridiculous! They should have put the rest of us on a separate server to enjoy a new game not join other peoples old server to be left behind! I don’t recommend this game it’s not free player friendly at all. I just found out that the automatic gameplay is absolutely terrible. The AI attacks the wrong targets constantly and uses the special abilities in the worst way possible every time causing you to lose your energy without completing the stage. Another problem I’ve encountered is that some players are able to level up their one star heroes to level 80 while all of the Newest players and anybody who joined the game after a certain update can only level them up to 50. the players who can level up their heroes to level 80 have an advantage in the games arena where all of their characters can be 30 level stronger than yours until you start up your characters which requires real money or progress in the game

The game is a continual wall of ads, and the gacha mechanics are overly stiff and tilted. Buying a season pass doesn’t significantly move the needle in terms of growth. Recently Zynga had a game mode that offered a generous roi in terms of reward for time spent. But after discovering that they over-tuned the payout for the event, Zynga responded by banning players who spent the time to play the game and make the most of the event window. Investing in this product with both my time and money was a waste. Over the past decade I can’t recall a single time I’ve written a negative review or request a refund…. And yet Game of Thrones: Legends managed to infuriate me to the point of doing both. Based on the devs response to their own mistake, I not only do not recommend this product; I will never try another Zynga game for fear of my time and money not being respected. It’s outrageously bad.

I’ve played the game for 3 hours today, already hit a pay wall with the campaign where I can’t progress. Also can’t even play the game because I ran out of energy and can only refill it by paying gold or waiting 10 minutes for 1 energy.

Love the game itself, it is a very fun game. I have played hours at a time and spent hundreds of dollars. However, the makers are very greedy in wanting to make money. With that being said, i am going to have to quit playing. For the reason being, you must spend either hours playing or have to purchase hundreds of dollars to get anywhere, even then you do not get the players u want. If it were not for that i would rate this game a 5. Good luck to all. But this is a game for the person that has a lot of $$$$, which i do not have. But like i said, love the game hope it goes far. Hopefully they will make adjustments as the game grows so that someone that doesnt have money can actually compete. Also would like to add. I went over the reviews and it seems that a-lot of people have the same complaint. And it appears developers dont care and the reply says, im sorry you feel that way but continue to let it go on the way it is. Id rather no reply at all than a reply that states we are sorry you feel that way and do nothing. 🤷‍♂️ Regardless best of luck to developers and players.

Game starts easy and fun. Quickly becomes a log jam unless you pay money to unlock stuff. I’m not spending $5-$10 just to level up. This game would be worth about $10 fully unlocked.
Everything takes forever to grow and you will quickly become stuck after first levels unless you pay. Not worth it at all!

This game was fun for all of a week. It became apparent that it’s just a throw your money away kinda game. You’ll get massive amounts of summon shards in the beginning when starting out, and if you’re lucky you might get a couple of main characters from the show. Then it slowly dwindles down and you’re hoping for summon shards, and when you do get them you’ll level up random “common” characters. The summon pulls are a slap in the face when you spend money on it. Don’t spend your money unless you’re into that sort of thing of wasting it.

Also the events are very repetitive and the chapters are boring. Egg event, raids, alliance dragon, and a chapter farm over and over. Started reducing my time in game cause it’s just so boring.

Doesn't really innovate just a match 3 game with GOT paint. Playing for a few days now and it seems really grindy and hard to unlock characters without paying lots of money. Also, there's really no RPG elements and if you've watched Game of Thrones it's just going through the episodes pretty linearly. Overall I'm probably going to stop playing soon.

Other devs have gone the route of making pure power, no skill cash grab games. When they go that route, customers get addicted then generally avoid that developer permanently afterward. The best 3 gem match games reward the best players with top leadership spots, not the ones that spend the most. Candy crush was done right - pay to play more, not pay to win/rank higher. The good will you gained from making truly fun games brought me to this (along with being a GOT fan), but this isn’t one of them at the moment - at least for people like me who like to see interactive gaming be skill based and not spend offs. I suggest capping star level at 3 instead of 7 or something and using the candy crush monetization model of stead of the gacha stuff that causes gamers to hate companies.

I’ve been playing for over a month now, and while my love of GoT is what drew me in, this was released entirely to early as the balancing in it is horrendous. While the developer is making changes here and there, that is only affecting the players who join going forward. They have neglected to address the founding player base who have already completed these tasks and received lackluster rewards. This has upset a lot of their founding player base, which is never good in a game looking to be successful. Just google or search on Reddit to see what I mean. This is by all means a gacha game f2p/ptw. But any game worth their weight, addresses changes to the entire playerbase, not just reward those who join now. I’ve spent money in this game, but honestly the way this developer is making decisions will likely lead to me deleting the game entirely. I have plenty of other Game of Thrones games I enjoy playing, this was more or less just fun to pass the time with. But, there are so many other gacha games that are just as fun and have been implemented better. Such a shame as this game has a ton of potential, just wish it was released by a different developer who cares about all of their player base and not just taking in the $$$.

I’ll start this by giving the benefit of the doubt to the devs. They didn’t design the game itself to be a cash cow, but at its core this is a gacha game, some are just more greedy than others. Case and point^^
As for what the game is, this game is an exact reskinned replica of the DC heroes matching game. You collect characters from loot box style banners, level them up, and evolve them when you get replicas. It’s a classic gacha game with a GoT spin.

Now I’m what I call myself a gachaslut and some of them I put in a graveyard never to be touched again for financial reasons, I don’t want that to be the case for this game. I love GoT, read every book, and watched the show twice over. I’ll spend $5 on this game occasionally….. when you they fix the micro-transaction value. I’m not paying money just to open character banners… that’s absolutely asinine… On top of spending the currency you grind in game (typical in a gacha game) I need to then spend REAL MONEY to buy coins to open banners.

Let me put it simpler, YOU NEED TO SPEND MONEY TO GET THE BEST CHARACTERS IN THE GAME AND SOMETIMES YOU WONT EVEN GET THEM ON THE FIRST PULL BECAUSE IT GIVES YOU 1/3 OF THE PIECES NEEDED TO UNLOCK THEM. I’m still going to be playing this game for a few months but it’s on a death bed right now. Soon to go into the graveyard.
5/10 overall.

The game itself it a good time killer. For those complaining about it being a p2w game, most are these days. Deal with it or don’t play. However what I find completely unfair is that you allowed beta testers to keep their accounts.

How are you going to release a game, where at launch there are hundreds of players with completely maxed out, unreleased champions. How on earth can we fairly compete against them? Bit stupid if you ask me.

It’s alright I enjoy playing it. But I can’t get anywhere without spending money. $5 won’t get you much $10 might be a little helpful. Alliance seems pointless atm but looks like something is coming soon which I hope adds more to why we have alliances to begin with. I hope to see another event soon just please don’t add too many events at a time. 1 event at a time is good enough.

Started out not really liking the game. It starts pretty slow. All it took was for me to get a couple good characters unlocked and I was hooked for a little while. At this point, it’s been exactly one week from release, and I’ve hit a roadblock as to how much more I can power up my champs without either paying or just playing the same content over and over until I get some more character summon opportunities. This is a game for whales ready to drop money any chance they can. The game is just too slow with summon currency build up and character power growth. Otherwise, it’s pretty fun, at least for a week.

The game is fun and a great game, however the whole system of summoning is horrible. I’ve been playing for a little while now and yes you get a couple of decent pulls when you first start but then nothing. You either have to pay for characters or tokens for summoning. All about money. Then when you do summon, I’ve done it a few hundred times you only get the junk guys. Even if you do get a good one, you only get 3 or 5 so you need to get multiple to acually get the character to use. That is my only complaint but it is huge.

Started the game a few days ago around launch and it was ok at first, but the game feels kind of like a cash grab as of right now. Right now I want to play more, but I’m at a brick wall where I’m just waiting for the game to give me more resources so that I can lvl up characters to get past that wall. I usually drop $5-$10 on deals in the beginning if I enjoy the game and the deals feel worth it but as of right now based on current gameplay I don’t feel like it’s ready yet and the deals a little overpriced for what you get. Hopefully the game gets better, but right now just giving it a little more time to see if it gets better.

I was eager to play this game since the day I was able to preorder it and wait for release. It is an entertaining cash grab I have enjoyed since release. The characters look very similar to the show and all provide unique features and skills to your team. Unfortunately as all new games being released, they come with bugs. The devs of this game tried to repair and make changes to compensate these bugs. The devs have failed miserably to make changes and even made things worse each time. Bugged events have led to unintentional rewards that caused multiple players to be banned except the ones they choose to keep. Gamer beware!!!

The balance is off, it’s nearly impossible to get certain champions, others come alongside a money pit. The “sales” are too pricey, especially if it’s for for a slight possibility gamble. I’ve won prizes that I have never received- like a legendary character I spent $$$ on for a few rounds of shards and I go back find I need 5 more shards once again- or every time I win 3 extra legendary assault energy, but it never goes in my inventory or gets tacked on to my current energy- so it is kind of a let down when you have that happen.

Aside some of those issues, this game can be a fun time passer with characters many of us love. There are a lot of things that need to be worked on and some to be added. I’m positive that the potential can exceed expectations so I’m hoping that someone takes advantage of that while the original folk are still playing! We all have ideas!

I encountered a critical bug in the game. After making numerous in-game purchases, I acquired the desired character. The third difficulty level in a particular stage has been unlocked, but selecting it causes the game to revert to the previous difficulty level, preventing me from completing any further maps beyond the first two difficulties. This hinders my progress in collecting the rich spoils on the continent of Westeros, and I lose a heart for each attempt to resolve the issue with the developers without any communication channels.

It’s fun so far, but many things that are suboptimal. The main thing that has been keeping me playing is the ability to earn all premium currency in F2P manners. I think this is a really awesome thing that Game of Thrones: Legends RPG has done that most F2P games have not. Please note, anyone looking for a match game with unique matching mechanics, you will not find it here. The matching is almost entirely basic. There are a few bugs that I encounter regularly, such as freezing in the middle of a game that requires you to close out GameofThrones and restart it (especially if you tab out of the game to look at something else really quick); you won’t get your energy reimbursed. The only way you can invite anyone to your alliance is to find them on the leaderboard, so I’m not entirely sure how affective this is. The alliance dragons come and go, with no way to alter anything, meaning if your alliance is brand new, you will get extremely easy dragons and your alliance members will need to hold their attacks so everyone can get a hit in. And I’m truly not a fan of so many notifications. I get notifications on my phone for the game even while I’m playing the game! “You are needed NOW!” Etc. and there’s no way to turn it off without completely turning off all notifications.

They sold packs for a new character “Alicent Hightower” she was the best healer in the game. After the sale ended and players had spent hundreds chasing her, the developers changed her powers making her now the single worst healer in the game. Weaker then even most common characters. Total bait and switch.

The Developers made some positive moves in the past week so I’ve changed my rating from 1 to 3 stars. First they gave Alicent a small buff so she is at least no longer useless. I still think her healing should be buffed a bit more but it’s a start. They also improved chapter rewords which initially mean that those who have already completed those chapters missed out. The Devs then did the right thing and sent those extra rewards out to everyone who already completed those chapters.

The Devs and the players would benefit greatly from a player liaison. Someone who could communicate the intent behind changes, let the players know when the devs see a problem and are working on a change, and communicate the games overall direction. This would alleviate much of the player base frustration.

I find the game enjoyable, everyone complaining about paywalls I would like for them to name one game that doesn’t require to spend a little money. The only complaint I have of the game is gold dragons are hard to come by other than that it’s a good game in my opinion and hope to see what new updates they bring us in the future

Great game, a little basic, but addicting.

The issue that I’ve run into is in the main story mode, I cannot unlock the “treacherous “ difficulty past level 4. I’ve completed all of the requirements, but it still only shows the hard mode. It restricts the ability to unlock better loot. I’m basically stuck and can only complete the daily activities. I hope this gets fixed soon or I’m going to lose interest.

All around I think this is an enjoyable game. I don’t play very many mobile games so i don’t have high expectations other than the ads but this doesn’t have that issue. My only complaint is lack of pulls from the shards and how often you’re able to get those shards (idk what they are actually called). i play daily but i don’t spend money and i feel like i never get any decent pulls to get stronger. Love everything else tho!

Match 3 still a little slow on 2x…also game doesn’t remember when I select 2x speed - annoying. Otherwise having fun - the voice clips give me an old school pinball vibe lol. Also selecting enemies doesn’t always take or not obvious. Needs Stage Level displayed. Please keep updating this!

An alliance has zero impact on the game. You gain nothing. You also gain nothing with summoning these characters. 1% drop rate on the top ones. So maybe in 100 years they will be unlocked. No strategy required. Lots to improve upon. Only time will tell if they will be

I love the game, and I think it’s really fun! The only downside is you are missing some key characters! Now I might be biased because my favorite character is Robb Stark and he’s not there but you are also missing Bran and Rickon…it makes me sad because I feel Robb and Bran made quite a big impact and to leave them out seems rather wrong.

Please add Tywin Lannister it would be a great character addition and I recommend adding more characters that where crucial to the show and less duplicate characters such as two Jon Snows or Two Aryas Starks it takes up more space for new characters and less immersion to build a full Stark team or full Lannister team or full Baratheon team but good game way better the Got Conquest

Definitely got this bc of the add during house of the dragon, thought it was a joke of a game but it’s actually pretty fun!

Would love to see more dragons in it or maybe some more perks to build the kingdom and customization is always a plus example items characters of how building in the kingdom look, would like to choose whether my keep in more like kings landing or winterfell hope a developer see this thanks

Or give workers more storage. The differential is on the storage and how much they farm is odd. I understand upgrade caps, but it’s just off at the moment. Early is fast, mid game is very very pointless. Progression dies down and it gets boring. Leveling up goes to 3 levels every 12 hours basically and the dragon conquest is glitched and doesn’t give rewards. And even the rewards aren’t worth enough.

BUT I am addicted and I love this game. The challenge picks up so I do understand the slower leveling. It has everything you want. And I love I can afk sometimes just to level (which is nice coming from an osrs player)

Get the game. It’s worth your time if you’re ever bored. Brainless but still stimulating enough to satisfy your need for progression.

Yeah this game is fun/ entertaining and i like GOT but for sure has some areas for improvement like the story mode, more group/clan battles or benefits in succssesful clans. The fire summon needs to contain better loot for only once a day use and get rid of food as a loot option. Better loot drops in terms of equipment for the characters. I will say it seems the developer is ACTIVE and improving the game so im staying to see where it goes. (: Definitely recommend!

I love this game so far, but it has a lot of technical issues.

-Treacherous Difficulty will not load chapter 3 or later

-several epic equipment types seem to just be missing completely from the game data

-new characters special gems glitch while playing, making gameplay confusing and difficult.

For a game that demands so much money and/or time from its players, this isn’t acceptable. Support says they are aware of these but offers no timeframe for fixes.
