This is going to be long. TL;DR- avoid this game like the plague. First off, I can’t remember that last time I played an mmo with ZERO customization. That earned this game a 1 star and I almost deleted it right then and there, but I decided to give it a shot anyway. You’re only real customization option it’s to pick different races, which are also gender-locked. After finally choosing a race for the class I was, let’s say, content with I loaded up and started playing. After finally getting control of my character I realized, in the process of switching races to see what look I liked, it doesn’t remember which class you picked and defaults to the first one. Easy fix, or so I thought. I wanted the name I had so I went about deleting my character since I had no playtime anyway and was hit with quite possibly the dumbest sentence ever read on an mmo character deletion screen. I’m going to paraphrase because I don’t remember the exact words and I’m not about to download this game again just to see what it said. It said “You can not delete characters under level 60.” What?! I’ve been playing mmos for more than 10 years and I’ve never not been able to delete a character whenever I wanted. This notion completely deleted what will I had left to play this game and in turn decided to delete the game itself off my phone. There are much better mobile mmos out there than this. Save yourself some headache and just look for those instead.

The title says it all, this game has been an utter disappointment. Everything that made the original L2 special has been reduced to P2W GACHA items. If you can get past the constant pop ups to buy items from the shop, gold spammers, and AWFUL UI then you’ll find a litany of other issues plaguing this game. Including; LAG, Glitches, Toxic Chat, Uneventful leveling process, Endless Grinding with no payoff, and no specific class specialization. The class system is a MESS, you have to get “luck of thew draw (Spend more money)” to obtain a top tier class that isn’t even relative to your starting class. The leveling process, WOW, how do you mess up that bad? If you aren’t playing ORB then FORGET about leveling efficiently, you’ll spend more time dead, and buying potions then you will actually enjoying your chosen class. Oh, you wanna customize your character? Haha, no. You are gender-locked & the items your equip make no difference in your appearance.

Seems NCSOFT need to go back to the drawing board, I’d rather play New World with all its bugs, because at least that game offers a hint of differentiation.

There isn’t actually a game here. Post level 25, basically you click on the main quest to go kill a bunch of mobs or whatever, these kills will take 15ish mins so you set the phone or tablet down and wait 15 mins. Then you click the next one, rinse and repeat. Oh yeah you have to port back to town every 2-3 quests to buy more health potions. Oh and if you want to craft, you can’t get components from salvaging. Not actually sure what salvaging is for in this game as it seems to give you nothing. To craft even the most basic item you need to farm mobs for drops, oh yeah except these drops never actually drop, ever, or are at least so rare that in 30 mins on auto I got zero material. Basically the entire game is designed for you to go on auto, set your device down, watch tv, and wait for the battery to die. You don’t actually get to play a game here.
