I download this at the beginning of the college football season 2021. The first week it worked great. Since then every time I press VarsityNetwork , whether it’s on my iPad or iPhone, it force closes within one second. What’s the deal?

Can’t get it to work. I’m on an iPhone 12 mini so I should have the necessary tech… when I download VarsityNetwork all looks fine but when I go to create an account, as soon as I tap on the “first name” text box, VarsityNetwork ’s entire screen goes black. Same if I bypass the sign in process and just tap on the search text box.

Since the last update, I try to use VarsityNetwork and it opens then immediately closes. I have tried deleting and reinstalling but still the same result. Was a good app to listen to college football but not now! Latest update does not fix the problem!

The audio will jump backward 5 seconds then jump forward 10 seconds once a minute, even on perfect wifi. Makes it impossible to listen to.

You never know what you’ll get with VarsityNetwork. Right night now I’m trying to listen to Oklahoma Sooners basketball, and all I’m getting is silence. Of course the advertisement you’re forced to watch first plays perfectly. They always do.

I came over to Varsity when our broadcasts became a paid service on tune it. I have add occasions where it will go quiet for about 30 seconds then start up where it left off. It also stutters - a few words repeating themselves. Hopeless to sync to TV broadcast since you have to try and reset after that. Went back to Tune In and found a local radio station that I can use. Just tried for a press conference, about a dozen or so stutters.

Sorry Jones. Too hard to sync with the broadcast. I’ll miss you. I still miss Woody. VarsityNetwork audio frequently repeats a second or two of the broadcast which negates all of your efforts to get the timing right.

Update:
The Florida State game steamed perfectly. I was able to sync the TV and audio stream. I was even able get good lip sync for the officials explaining a recent penalty. Satisfied.

I use VarsityNetwork to listen to college baseball. It’s nice that it can run streaming in the background

There is a big technical issue that causes the audio to repeat and skip. Makes it unusable at times

This version crashes immediately upon opening on my iPad. The previous version worked OK for me. I really like VarsityNetwork , so hope it gets fixed soon!

I’m trying to listen to the pregame and the game. The feed is cutting out or repeating. Impossible. I’ve deleted VarsityNetwork and reinstalled and still not better. Disappointed

Keeps crashing and only get a black screen

Thanks for launching this. Thrilled to having it. Hope to see some additional UI improvement to make it easier to pause, back up, etc for on demand content.

It’s a brilliant idea and a 5-star app. However, you’re constantly tinkering with it and making it worse in the process. The latest update (which I didn’t discover until the games started) has an inexplicable black screen appear when we search for games. If we just click on the icon of a followed team, the stream will play, but the black screen eventually appears and the only way to get rid of it is to close VarsityNetwork and restart.

Please, developers: you’ve got something great here, but please just set it and forget it! I’ll update to 5-stars once this black screen glitch is fixed.

Such a good idea and a slick app. It’s a must download for anyone who wants to listen to games at home or while driving.

I love college football radio. This is VarsityNetwork you need to listen to games around the country. I love it.

I just downloaded this so I could listen to radio instead of TV announcers. Easy to create an account and set up my fav team.

Best way to follow your favorite college team thanks to alerts for game broadcast starts. Also a great way to surf all the best action in your favorite conference or around the country. So glad all this is in one place.

I haven’t listened to tv broadcasts of college games for years. I prefer the biased home team radio broadcasts. Tune in used to provide broadcasts for any game I wished to listen. Tune in stopped that free service and I was disheartened. Varsity to the rescue. Quality streams of local broadcasts are wonderful. Thank you Varsity!
