I purchased a product that was out of stock in my area. When I received the item, the main piece was missing and the instructions were for a completely different product. Guess what? The item is no longer on sale. Even as I am typing this, I’m getting irritated. This field they give us to type in has a midnight background and black text. Nice job Academy. I’d fire the pro responsible for this mess. Anyway, they’ve lost a customer. Sorry if there are any typos, I can’t really see this. The Rolla store is where my order came from. I’d look into the stellar hiring practice at that location if it were my company.

Very impressed with the usability and functionality provided in the Academy Sports mobile app! I’ve been waiting for it and it exceeded my expectations!! Love that I can review all my purchases both online and in store in one place! Great job Academy!!!

I understand stores run out of products, however the option to pick up in certain stores close by should still be available when an item is out of stock it should be able to be ordered and sent to the store of choice for pickup. It can be transferred between stores or sent from the warehouse as a store order. The customer shouldn’t have to drive further to get items to save on shipping costs.

AcademySportsOutdoors is so bad, it’s turned me off of Academy permanently. Glitches abound. It forgets your cart repeatedly. Tells you it’s empty. Refill it. Again and again. Everything is out of stock. Then in stock again. Picks your delivery/pickup method for you and charges for delivery on items not available for pickup! Then, all of the sudden, remembers your cart and multiplies it! Changes prices from the item screen to the cart. BE CAREFUL!! Quadruple check EVERYTHING if you dare to use AcademySportsOutdoors! Chat won’t help you. IF you get a human, they “unfortunately” can’t do a darn thing. BEWARE.

I love AcademySportsOutdoors . I love that I can just think of something I need on the go , pull out my phone , place an order and pick up within an hr .

With locator service it even recommends the store closest to me.

Love being able to use AcademySportsOutdoors now for online shopping! Very cool new features, and it matches the site functionality well making it easy to transition between platforms.

When I need to make a payment I is hard to make a payment. In your app hard to find it then you call and bug the stew out of you about making the payment. Well if you would make it easier to make a payment you would get more payments on time so your part of the problem. Why you get late payments. Oh you want late payments do you can charge a late fee and make more money right.

I love academy in general, they are the best sporting goods and outdoors store around. Now they have an app that allows me to shop and integrates all of my information! I can’t wait to see what they do next!

App fails to remove “out of stock” items despite having the option to do so. It’s frustrating to have to go through pages upon pages of items that aren’t carried by this vendor for whatever the reason. There’s no option to only display items available.

I’m using Apple iphone and ipad running iOS 12.5.5. App downloaded but won’t open. I deleted it and red-downloaded it three time. I just discovered Academy while visiting Texas and was impressed with their store and the variety of items the sell plus prices and reasonable yet I have to purchase online because I live in Idaho. Please don’t ask me to contact customer service just fix it so it works.

I’ve been waiting on academy to release an app & wow am I blown away. The features make sense, easy to use & it looks good. Love it!! If you haven’t downloaded yet, you should, now!

After over a decade of ALL other retailers having a store app, Academy finally released one. And it’s not even awful! Looking forward to Academy’s future!

Not user friendly especially when navigating site to “make a payment” this option should be available as soon as you open AcademySportsOutdoors . I have been searching for the option for at least two hours and customer service doesn’t know how to navigate app either.

Wouldn't take my academy card!! Double checked all information twice was correct!! Still wouldn't take it. But it took my credit card which by the way has the same Information as my academy card??? My card works fine inside store as well. Plus I just paid this account off for the 2nd time!! Please look into this.

Cart show I have 3 items in cart…but when I click on the cart icon or even the link…nothing in cart.

Found what I needed quickly and easy to order!!

I can’t ever see what’s in my online bag. Shows I have 10 items but when I click on the bag it takes me supposedly to the bag and says it empty. Very frustrating! I even set up a different account and it does it to that account as well.

Thankfully they now have an app academy has always been great too me in stores and AcademySportsOutdoors is no different! A must have for all my academy lovers.

I am a PIM / Digital Coordinator for my company so I am quite versed about what is ancient a great site.

The sight is horrible at saving payment information. Cannot have 2 Academy cards listed apparently. Tired of adding mine and then reading once I use my dads. I always pick save for future.

When you want to search only stock, and click “hide out of stock”, it still shows so many items it in stock.

Coming from the digital word, I am quite disappointed in this website.

Finally Academy has an app! Easy to shop and check out. Always the best deals on the brands I’m looking for. Great App!!!

Finally we have app from Academy.. Shopping is made easy!!

It is clear a lot of thought and effort went into Academy’s release of their first ever mobile app. The user experience is clean and intuitive and it has great features for use in store such as the bar code scanner. It also makes picking up online orders in the store or curbside a breeze by automatically alerting store employees you arrived at the store as soon as you pull into the parking lot. It also saves all of your in store and online orders into your order history which is great. Overall I’m really impressed that Academy delivered such a great app from day 1.
