PokerLive like most other apps, is ruled by an algorithm. The algorithm tries to get you to lose all of your winnings, then prompts you to spend real money to play with fake money. I’ve been playing poker for over 15 years and I’ve never seen so many people winning with royal flushes, or straight flushes. I’ve never seen AK suited, QQ, KK LOSE SO MANY TIMES. as soon as you lose all of the chips that you won. PokerLive will instantly ask you to buy more chips. If you are a seasoned poker player you are going to be frustrated by the amount of people who don’t know how to play but have billions of chips I’ve never seen 2-9 off suit hit so many times. In real life, cards do not fall like that. In real life, people do not call those type of hands. It’s like PokerLive is trying to make people develop bad poker playing habits and spend real money. If you play poker in real life, do not download PokerLive. To PokerLive developers, I say stop coding PokerLive to make people lose hands that have a 80% chance of hitting and letting people win hands that have less than a 15% chance of winning. It’s obvious what is happening here and I’m not the only one who sees it. I like the aspect of playing live. But everyone on the live says the same thing the only difference is I’m smart enough to know when to delete an app and continue on with my life. I hope this review helps someone.

Be prepared to play with Bots. I report them but the developer doesn’t follow up. Like another review said, you will win a lot and then all of a sudden, you’ll lose it all to 4 of a kind and straight flushes! The coders/developers can change the algorithms to control the cards to ensure you’ll lose no matter what. You will notice that you’ll push all in with 4 of a kind and magically a “player” who folds every hand decides to stay and gets the royal flush. I lost over half of my earnings to coders cheating and or bots. It becomes frustrating when you know the cards can be changed so it eliminates any chance of fair play.

Why can’t someone just develop and run an honest poker game? This one seemed better than most at first and then the play just became ridiculous. I’ve never seen so many bad beats and second best hands, I don’t know how many times I’ve had a full house beat by four of a kind or lost to a straight flush. Those hands are extremely rare in poker and to see them as often as I have is just ridiculous. I’ll buy chips as necessary or watch the little videos that you make money off of but just give us an honest game!

I’ve been playing the poker game for well over a year and In the beginning it was fun. You would lose some hands and win some hands like normal poker and as of late I haven’t been able to win any hands what’s so ever. I feel as if this game is trying to bait me into buying chip due to never winning hands. I wouldn’t recommend playing this poker game if you are just trying to enjoy your time while playing a poker game. There is a game called poker face that is more realistic I would give that app a try if you get fed up like I am.

You took back over 32billion chips that you say went to the WRONG email address on 7/23. Yet, I never received any chip from you on that day. Your system as you say it, is what was in error. I have been a loyal player, I’ve even spent money on chips when I was low, came in 4th in my league and are at the Master II level. You REALLY think that I will continue to support a game, or business that punishes players for the apps mistakes, even when I never got those chips????? I saw the email but it was to a different person and the chips did not register to me. Good luck screwing your customers. I’ll take my business elsewhere!!!!
BEWARE PLAYERS…..

I was really excited to try this game until I realized that PokerLive created a fake profile for me. Since I don’t (and WILL never) use the Conservative-censoring facebook or any of its other platforms I signed in using my AppleID. To my utter shock and disgust, PokerLive created “my” name and avatar without allowing me to enter any personal information and/or photo. My profile included a female name and photo even though I am a male. Not only is this ludicrous, but it is also reckless and negligent. Any nutjob can hide behind his or her fake “profile” to mislead other players. This especially could endanger minors who believe they are talking with someone else. I will be deleting this garbage app until this issue is addressed and resolved!

I downloaded this game today, was enjoying it but I had to log out to run a errand. Logged back in a poof all playing chips won were no longer there, had to start all over. Then had to watch them darn videos over and over and over to get enough to play again. This is not the game for me. If I can’t keep the chips I won I don’t want to spend my valuable time on this site.

I have been playing this game for a good while now every day. The first bit was good a lot of fun was actually winning. The past couple of weeks I haven’t been winning hardly at all but may a couple hands here and there. Anytime i get a decent hand someone else always has something better I’m guessing it’s because I don’t spend any money on this game?

Can actually play with friends. Have to find them in a lobby before you can play with them though, me and my friends were shuffling through a couple different tables before we found each other kind of hard but we ended up getting it play together all the time now.

If everything worked it would be a great game/app. Not sure why some people can play “online” and some can’t. Mine cannot which is weird. Get that fixed and will get 5 stars. Only reason I downloaded app was to be able to video play poker.

Good game. Only issue I have is starting chips. If you do not have carry over chips from prior day…you claim some at start of app. There are two chip awards to be claimed. For some reason the 1st chip award does not get added to my total. This is the larger chip award. The 2nd ( very small award) does get added to total but that means I start with maybe 50k in chips. Very difficult to play game as 50k only covers 5 blinds.

Why don’t you make some sit and goes less expensive to play. Also the ability to chat with the keyboard along with the text that are currently available. In my opinion it would make PokerLive superior. Also the ability to have private poker games with friends only.

Love this game but there is one problem. When you click “next table” it will say “room not found” and when you try to enter any game higher than the lowest buy in it says “room not found”

Its always worked before but recently it hasnt. I hope this gets fixed soon. Other than that the game is great

I love PokerLive I play quite frequently and have made friends along the way. Although the algorithm does rule over all and is built to get you to make in app purchases I still enjoy it very much. My only major issue with PokerLive is the tendency to run into either hateful and or inappropriate people. (which is gonna happen where ever you go) and though you have the capability of blocking these people and blocking there cameras you still can hear what they say as well as they are still able to follow you to other tables and harass you. I suggest implementing a way you block the person completely from all contact wether that be making sure they will never be able to find your profile look at your camera or interact with you in any way. Other then that SO MUCH FUN

When I have a fat pot I can call all in for them and that’s a lot for them and a little for me so they usually fold so people under a certain amount of chips should be automatically moved to a table where nobody has a big pot that way you can’t bluff people off the table

The game play inside PokerLive although enjoyable, is not the same as advertised on Instagram. I have tried to reach out to customer service several times inside PokerLive and cannot get the question answered as to why that is. Disappointing!

You are never out of the action because even if you get a bad beat (or are just a terrible player) you can get chips quickly by watching a few videos.

Fun video chat too. Nothing wrong with this game.

I love this game and it is very fun!! My only thing I don’t like about it is whenever I get people to join through the link it doesn’t give me my chips. I have got 6 people to join and haven’t got a dime. I would definitely play this game!

Game is definitely rigged. Lets you win when it wants to only to make you lose everything and then offer to allow you to buy more chips. A frustrating game.

Game is great but I lost my account and I had over 1 billion chips, now playing as a guest under an alias name. Would love to retrieve my account but don’t know how. Can you assist me with this matter?
