Crap of an app! Don’t use this app!!!!

2025-02-05

by Imaredheadedone

I’ve had this app for a few years. Paid premium. A few days ago all of what I was tracking completely disappeared. I sent the developer an email…..no response at all. I added all of what I wanted to track once again into the app. Today, they’ve all disappeared again. So, I’m leaving this app even though I’ve paid the premium price and it doesn’t renew until April. The fact that the developer doesn’t respond is a hint that there’s something wrong with the app!

It’s okay

I like the simplicity of the user interface. However, the features are *too* simple. It only allows you to indicate whether you did or didn’t do a habit on a given day. They should add a feature that would show that you voluntarily skipped a day.

For example, I’m trying to make a habit of opening my postal mail as soon as I come back from the mailbox. The app will not allow me to indicate a day was skipped because the mail didn’t come.

Another example, I am trying to exercise Mondays through Saturdays but not Sundays, my day of rest. The app will not allow me to show that Sundays or travel days were intentionally skipped. The record incorrectly looks like I failed those days.

I want to see at a glance my pattern without having to try to remember which days counted towards my goal and which didn’t.

Another feature that’s lacking is the inability to make notes about a given day. I’d like to be able to record why I didn’t do my habit so I can see if there’s a pattern, like sleeping too much is keeping me from doing my exercises.

Bug with Widgets

I am using the free version of this app. The bug I found is when you add your tasks to your Home Screen as widgets. If you go back into the app and change the name of a task (e.x. From ‘working out’ to ‘stretching’) it will not update the corresponding widget. I tried getting rid of the widgets, placing them again on the Home Screen and selecting the correct tasks. It still will not update to the latest task version. The only way it works for me is to uninstall and reinstall the app and recreating my tasks again.
