missing XSO3 – W X the snoop purchases are worthless they can’t be added to app

When setting up it asked me to choose a custom location name so I did. Now whenever I add a new device the drop down defaults to that location and when I click the drop down to choose a new location that is the only location to choose from and there is no option to choose another location. I have deleted and reinstalled XSenseHomeSecurity and there was no change, still only one location.

My smoke detectors have been going off randomly without any smoke. Even with new batteries it’s still happening randomly. Any help would be great

Can't login, I've tried at least 20 times and it tells me there is already an account with my email address and to login with this address and when I try it tells me to do it again and it's just a vicious circle. it's not that I don't understand how to connect to the Internet,I do, I have at least 10 items that I've connected, no problem. I've tried calling the help number, after numerous attempts, they just tell me to keep trying.
HELP !!!

The item does not work

XSenseHomeSecurity only allows us to be logged in one device. Trying to install in an ipad for example it will log you from the iphone displaying a security message. Trying to log back into the iphone kicks me out of the ipad. We live in a world that people have multiple devices. This is a faulty design.

Reached out to support for assistance but the instructions returned did not help: 1. Unable to set a location on the mailbox and driveway alarms. Only the base station has location settings. Yet each added device shows “No Location.” The answer sent back to me was to use location management in settings in both added devices. I sent them a photo copy of the settings for each device (driveway and mailbox) showing both these items do not have location settings within their settings. 2. The driveway alarm as an interval setting to reduce false alarms on the same alert. The adjustment wheel will not adjust, locked onto 5 seconds. 3. Although base station and driveway alert show “Online” the mailbox alert doesn’t. It works but there is no consistency across added devices. Restarted iPhone 14Pro, IOS 17.5.1 and the applications without any change.

This is for the mailbox sensor, which works very well.
Good range and so far good battery life.
XSenseHomeSecurity and the indoor unit the chimes are also pretty good.

One issue with XSenseHomeSecurity I really find very annoying. Is that when you get a notification and you open XSenseHomeSecurity , it opens to the last day.
Why not open to the current day so you can quickly close and take the notification?
Seems like an easy fix to me.

Set up for 2 driveway alarms was pretty flawless but the Push Notification Interval won’t budge off of 5 seconds. We have deer that set off one alarm and hanging the interval would reduce all those annoying alarms. It would also be helpful to turn down the base volume even more. It’s pretty loud at night and sets off the dog, very unwelcome! More information in the Help area of XSenseHomeSecurity would be, well, helpful.

You’ve answered my rating by “manspaining” the actual menu items I’ve tried to manipulate. I’m afraid you didn’t read my review with comprehension. The setting won’t budge off the 5 second setting to 30 seconds or any other interval. It simply will not move or set to anything else on the Push Notification Interval. It stays on 5 seconds. I’ve also set the volume as low as it will go. It needs to have a larger range of volume settings. I hope you understand now.

Hi I’ve been trying to update to latest firmware and it does not complete update which makes my camera useless until the update can be completed very upset

I’m using the thermometer feature and purchased a set of 3 for a very reasonable price. Set up is a little tricky and it’s best to read directions and not just wing-it. Hanging feature (loop of string) is stylish if not reliable. Device rarely loses its connection, but when it does there is no clear reason why. Fortunately it has automagically reconnected after a short holiday every time but once. The reading is precise (to the 100th) with two adjacent monitors returning similar values. Alarm feature seems to work well. Frequent marketing of 24/7 protection is irritating, but not invasive. But that seems to be the reason for the constantly reappearing notice on XSenseHomeSecurity .

I just have the water sensors but am now getting a notification about purchasing fire protection plan. Feel like it’s important to pay attention to any notifications from app in case there’s something important, disappointed that irrelevant notifications are going to show up. Took a little bit to figure out how to turn it off too. Otherwise so far so good except for this.

First of all - the good. A lot of customizable options for my motion driveway sensor. Works relatively good.
The Bad… it does not follow the iOS command structure as if you put do not disturb and both sound settings to off, you will still get a loud ring every time you get a trigger from the motion sensor. This is bad. It should follow the Iiphone sound volume setting or be controlled by that. The only way to change the volume setting is through XSenseHomeSecurity . I found out the hard way and was disturbed at a meeting and couldn’t figure how to turn off

I got their WiFi base with the temperature sensors. Everything works perfectly except for the fact that if you use two devices to monitor your temperatures, only one of them is allowed to be logged in at a time. If you use your other device, you have to log in every time and the other one is logged out. So if my wife wants to see the temperature, she has to log in and and my phone is logged out. Kind of annoying. I hope they can resolve this issue.

I have the driveway alarm and it’s working great XSenseHomeSecurity is great except one thing I wish there was a way to set different tones on the phone notifications like some of my cameras have to I can know what notifications come up on my phone

I’d like to see the ability to rearrange My Devices to make it easier to organize items in the Devices view. Entries appear in the order they were added instead of being grouped by device type.

Set up was easy. The use of QR codes to activate individual devices is superb.

We bought the set with the unit for the mailbox and then the bay station. It’s been wonderful. Let us know when the mailman is there and or if someone is actually messing around in our mailbox.

My mailbox is where I cannot see it, or I am out running chores. This device let’s me know when my mailbox has been opened. I have been across town and the alert shows up on my phone so I can get mail on way home.

Once I got all the devices that work with the base station. Setting up each device was very easy to do. I like that I can monitor each device and see its status, battery life, etc. Getting alerts on my phone when an alarm goes off is within seconds of the detector activating. I have smoke alarms, water sensors, heat detectors and CO/smoke alarms on my systems. This is a very so it yourself set. Highly recommended .

My husband bought this for my Cat’s Catio Shed, and ever since we put power and AC in it I have been so nervous of them being in there. But this little device has provided such comfort and happiness knowing that my phone will alert me of any emergencies. The security system + smoke Alerts is just marvelous gotta love the future!! 10/10

I am a volunteer fire chief and have been sharing the product that I personally use in my home with many folks in my community. Not sure if this is in the works, but if X-Sense could create a natural gas detector product as well, this would be a huge benefit!

XSenseHomeSecurity is simple and easy to use. I installed my three smoke detectors and everything works great.

Not bad, very interesting

The smoke/CO2 detector allows for notifications to be turned off for “offline notifications.” The leak detectors do not allow for the same option. I wish they did. We turn off WiFi each night so I get a notification every day saying the leak detectors are back online. I don’t need to know that each day. But all in all, a great app and products are great.

Easy and flaw free sign up and set up process after downloading app from play store using iPhone.
Added base station and water sensors which connected quickly.
Water on the sensor set off alarm with voice at base, loud alarm at sensor and I quickly got a ding on my phone.
Same notification ding I get with new text messages.
Opened app and shut off alarm.
Moved Devices to extreme range of my router, plugged in base and they both reconnected.
App settings include online status of devices and volume control for Base station.
Simple can be OK.

Initially I thought maybe I needed to buy an additional piece other than just a small wireless smoke detector because when I open XSenseHomeSecurity and clicked on the add smoke detector it said I needed a base station however when I clicked “Other Wi-Fi Devices”, it took me to the next screen that had a picture of my S03-WX smoke detector and I easily set it up in less than three minutes and I had my outbuilding on my farm protected. I am so pleased! We had not had a smoke detector there since a cellular smoke detector company went out of business when 5G came along.

My only question or concern is can a second phone be added to the account so that two phone numbers can be notified in case there is an alert?

Purchased this for peace of mind on any deliveries on my rural road. I have to say easy set up and excellent alarm as well as app to notify you when your mailbox has been opened. I would highly recommend!
