First of all - the good. A lot of customizable options for my motion driveway sensor. Works relatively good.
The Bad… it does not follow the iOS command structure as if you put do not disturb and both sound settings to off, you will still get a loud ring every time you get a trigger from the motion sensor. This is bad. It should follow the Iiphone sound volume setting or be controlled by that. The only way to change the volume setting is through XSenseHomeSecurity . I found out the hard way and was disturbed at a meeting and couldn’t figure how to turn off

App is very clean and has well designed user interface. Adding my new smoke detector was flawless, and has all the expected features and options for notifications. Very happy with my purchase and ease of setup.

Initially I thought maybe I needed to buy an additional piece other than just a small wireless smoke detector because when I open XSenseHomeSecurity and clicked on the add smoke detector it said I needed a base station however when I clicked “Other Wi-Fi Devices”, it took me to the next screen that had a picture of my S03-WX smoke detector and I easily set it up in less than three minutes and I had my outbuilding on my farm protected. I am so pleased! We had not had a smoke detector there since a cellular smoke detector company went out of business when 5G came along.

My only question or concern is can a second phone be added to the account so that two phone numbers can be notified in case there is an alert?

Set up was easy. The use of QR codes to activate individual devices is superb.

XSenseHomeSecurity is simple and easy to use. I installed my three smoke detectors and everything works great.

The item does not work

Easy and flaw free sign up and set up process after downloading app from play store using iPhone.
Added base station and water sensors which connected quickly.
Water on the sensor set off alarm with voice at base, loud alarm at sensor and I quickly got a ding on my phone.
Same notification ding I get with new text messages.
Opened app and shut off alarm.
Moved Devices to extreme range of my router, plugged in base and they both reconnected.
App settings include online status of devices and volume control for Base station.
Simple can be OK.

I just have the water sensors but am now getting a notification about purchasing fire protection plan. Feel like it’s important to pay attention to any notifications from app in case there’s something important, disappointed that irrelevant notifications are going to show up. Took a little bit to figure out how to turn it off too. Otherwise so far so good except for this.

XSenseHomeSecurity only allows us to be logged in one device. Trying to install in an ipad for example it will log you from the iphone displaying a security message. Trying to log back into the iphone kicks me out of the ipad. We live in a world that people have multiple devices. This is a faulty design.

I’m using the thermometer feature and purchased a set of 3 for a very reasonable price. Set up is a little tricky and it’s best to read directions and not just wing-it. Hanging feature (loop of string) is stylish if not reliable. Device rarely loses its connection, but when it does there is no clear reason why. Fortunately it has automagically reconnected after a short holiday every time but once. The reading is precise (to the 100th) with two adjacent monitors returning similar values. Alarm feature seems to work well. Frequent marketing of 24/7 protection is irritating, but not invasive. But that seems to be the reason for the constantly reappearing notice on XSenseHomeSecurity .

I have the driveway alarm and it’s working great XSenseHomeSecurity is great except one thing I wish there was a way to set different tones on the phone notifications like some of my cameras have to I can know what notifications come up on my phone

Can't login, I've tried at least 20 times and it tells me there is already an account with my email address and to login with this address and when I try it tells me to do it again and it's just a vicious circle. it's not that I don't understand how to connect to the Internet,I do, I have at least 10 items that I've connected, no problem. I've tried calling the help number, after numerous attempts, they just tell me to keep trying.

The smoke/CO2 detector allows for notifications to be turned off for “offline notifications.” The leak detectors do not allow for the same option. I wish they did. We turn off WiFi each night so I get a notification every day saying the leak detectors are back online. I don’t need to know that each day. But all in all, a great app and products are great.

My smoke detectors have been going off randomly without any smoke. Even with new batteries it’s still happening randomly. Any help would be great
