I was using the AGS app for instant grading while learning how to grade myself, however, the last few months that I’ve tried to use the “Instant Grade” feature just for curiosity (I’m now a professional grader) all grades come up 1-1.5 ok cards that are easily 7 or higher. It seems as though the app hasn’t been updated consistently and that the camera function has bugs behind it causing it to misread all scans. I used to recommend this app to my friends for pre-grading their cards before submitting but in good conscience can no longer do that with the state of the app. I will raise my rating if/when these issues are resolved as I am a fan of AGS but until then, definitely hold off.

Can not read cards for instant grading always gives you a error message regardless of being front of card or back of card absolutely awful and misleading information with no tutorial to even give guidance and customer support was absolutely zero help in trying to give advice on how to work the instant grading system👎👎👎👎

The grading process is fairly smooth but expect hiccups with the ad ons you pay for such as the 3d height map. It’s been over a month since my cards were graded and I still can’t even see the basic pictures. When I try to speak with the service department they just tell me it will get fixed but never does. It’s a shame too because their slabs are very aesthetically pleasing and seem high quality. But overall the process is not the best especially if you have higher end cards. I’m not sure that I trust them after the few experience I have had all being subpar.
