It would be helpful to move the “new game” and “settings” buttons and ads to the top of the screen.

Most people hold their phones at the bottom. While holding the phone in this completely normal fashion, it’s very easy to trigger these buttons and ads. It’s bothersome to have a game interrupted by accidentally hitting the ad, which starts to play loudly. It’s irritating to have the game interrupted by accidentally hitting the settings button. But it’s EXTREMELY ANNOYING to have a good game going, and accidentally trigger the “new game” button, which resets your score to zero.

This happens to me frequently, and I don’t imagine I’m the only one. I’m certain this is an easy fix.

Please move the start (and the settings) button to the top of the page where it is less likely to accidentally cause a game to be lost.

I have the iPhone version of this game and find my average score is 5k to 8k with my highest being 21,700. My highest on the iPad is about 1800 but some games end before I reach 100 and my average is less than 500. I have yet to have a single block or a diagonal of 2 blocks as an option to play to score on 9 in a row or a 9 block square on the grid. I’m ready to delete the iPad game completely.

I agree with the other reviews that there are annoying bugs and without fixes, I cannot recommend this game.

I’ve been playing this game for almost a year and have loved it — to the point I was basically addicted and playing too much. So I deleted it. A week later I missed playing and brought it back but something seems to have changed. Previously, I could routinely score in the 10s of thousands. My record was over 100,000. Now? I can barely clear 1,000 most times. Did you make the game significantly harder? And if so, why? It was fun to get on long runs but now it’s just a frustrating repetition of near immediate wipe-outs. My skill level couldn’t haven’t crashed that much. It seems the new shapes are a constant barrage of full corners and large Ts. Why?? This is no fun. Bring fun Blocks back!

Update: I’m done. It’s just a succession of huge pieces one after another that makes it impossible to sustain a game. Combine that now with inappropriate political ads and the dumb tricks they’re incorporating to make it hard to click out of the ads, and it’s just not a fun experience anymore. Good job, treat, you couldn’t let a good thing be and instead have screwed up your own game. It’s been good but buh-bye.

I’ve been playing this game for several weeks—as another reviewer said, it’s strangely addicting. There’s nothing special about it but it’s generally fun. And challenging.

A few things that bug me:

The “new game” button is too close to the pieces. I can’t tell you how many games I’ve lost because I tapped too close to that button.

And there’s no “hey are you sure you want to quit?”, which would have preserved some of my sanity.

It would be nice to have some achievable goals. The first was a 2000 point game. The next is a 5000 point game. I’ve gotten nowhere near that.

Having a “cheat” or “undo” option would be nice, especially when the game hiccups and places your piece in the wrong squares. Just one per game would be sufficient.

Overall not a bad game. Just a few tweaks would likely result in four stars instead of three.

This game is great, but the only real drawback is the placement of the new game button on the lower left side of the playing screen. It is extremely annoying to be racking up points on a game, being close to beating your highest score to then inadvertently press that darn new game button for it to reset your efforts. Why is it there? Developers, please remove the new game button from there and place it in the settings or hide it some other way from the playing screen.

This is the ideal game to relax and distress with - simple and straightforward, no ads. The only thing I have to mention that I hope is something worth fixing is the position of the “new game” button. So many times I have gone to get that block shape on the left and accidentally hit the new game button and lost my game. This invariably happens when I am doing well and getting a pretty high score. If that could be repositioned somehow it would be great! I occasionally hit the settings button, too, but that doesn’t lose my game so no problem there. Otherwise awesome job!!

This game is not only the best but it is the best how I know is because my mama plays it none stop like literally. This is one of my fav games on my phone and sometimes when I’m speaking to someone they get annoyed because I will not stop playing this game and I will stop in the middle of the conversation. But beside the point I want you guys to try this game out because I feel like if I like it than maybe you will. But if you do try it out than let people know how you feel about this game by reviewing this game. I love this game so much 🥰❤️.

The option for a "NEW GAME" should not be in the area of the new pieces. I'm always trying to meet a new goal, but it's frustrating when you go to grab a piece to put in place and your finger hits the "New Game" option erroneously. How frustrating! Now you have to start over. Please move the "New Game" option to the top corner out of the way or under settings, or ask the question, "Are you sure you want to start a new game?" Outside of that, it's a great game, so I'll give it 4 stars!

I really enjoy playing this game but I have one thing I hate, and one thing I’d like to see changed.
I hate the new game button. Maybe it’s just me, but I can’t count the number of times I’ve accidentally hit it and lost the game I was playing. It would be great if a confirmation dialog box was added.
I think it would make it a more strategic game if instead of giving you new shapes 3 at a time, have the game give you a new shape each time you place one.

I really like this game! It is addicting LOL. It does freeze if you change orientation of screen. Or it you go to another app and come back (answer a text or email) so you have to close no reopen it. I wish there was an undo or go back for previous move. That would be fun since this is basically a puzzle and you might move a piece unintentionally. Other than that…I would give it 5 stars.

Just one problem, tho' the game itself is great. I wish the blue circle with a white cross - located at the bottom left side of the screen - could be moved. Somehow I've pressed it by mistake several times and zeroed myself out, especially when touching the left end of a new row of blocks.
One time I pressed it when I was about to break my record.🤨 I'm trying to be careful, but either the circle is in the way, or my finger tips are fat (which they're not). Otherwise, I ❤️ the game!

This is a nice game and I like it a lot. Couple of bugs though: 1st which is just an annoyance is that when you go to select a piece it jumps away from where your finger is. I've mostly gotten used to that though. The bigger bug is that while I am dragging a piece into position, it will often place itself into an unwanted spot. I have to be super careful while selecting and dragging or the piece ends up in the wrong place, thus minus one star. (I'm not bothered by the adds, as I just turn off my Wi-Fi and it plays add free!)

The game is very soothing and perfect for when your waiting while traveling, it’s challenging and promotes special awareness.

Sadly as of the time of review the game auto redirects you to a FAKE iPad giveaway page with no warning and will keep doing it if you close the webpage. don’t give them any information, don’t buy into the giveaway, it’s a scam.

If the developer of BlockPuzzle is reading this PLEASE look into it, im not going to give a bad review for being the victim of hijacking

This game is honestly one of the things that keep me from a constant breakdown. Whole there may be a few bugs such as pieces occasionally jumping to the spot right next to where I want them, the game is overall amazing. The simplicity is extremely refreshing from all other kinds of games and it is something that you can just easily play whenever. One highlight being that it functions offline. I truly enjoy it and as stated earlier it is currently an anchor for me whilst I am studying for my exams. Thank you for developing this treasure!

I love this game, it’s 100% my go-to game if I’m feeling bored, or if I’m on a long car ride. I found this game on christiansbanneds account and I cannot stop playing it ever since! His parents love baseball and they get to win tickets to go there if a ton of people download BlockPuzzle. His mom just had surgery and it would be a lifetime chance to get to go to the World Series baseball game. So everyone please download this if you see it and play it for a little while.

I really enjoy this game & have been playing it for years as it’s an easy & relaxing way to spend a few minutes, but having an ad after EVERY SINGLE GAME is ridiculous! And now I can’t even play because it has gotten stuck on an ad that just sits there. I have tried changing to a different app, I have shut my tablet off. Nothing is getting rid of this ad & I’m done.

I love this game better than any other version, the frustrating part is that literally every time i get a super night score BlockPuzzle won't open next time i try. i simply get a black screen and eventually have to delete BlockPuzzle and download again, which erases my score history.

anyone else have this problem? what gives

listen man this game has been here on my phone for over a year and it has seen me at my lowest and at my highest and at my literal highest. it’s seen me blackout drunk, it’s seen me green out, it’s seen everything. when i’m in a time of trouble i flee to this game and all my worries fade away like nothing ever happened. i’m so serious when i say that this game has done more to solve my mental battles than real therapy ever has and i just want to express my gratitude. i am being dead honest when i say all of this, this game helps me find my inner peace like nothing else on this earth and if i could i’d rate it six stars and give it all sorts of game awards. i love you blocks you’ve changed my life in ways you’d never ever imagine, thank you. ❤️

The block game can really help relieve anxiety. It keeps your mind entertained. This games is great- it gives you multiple pieces in different forms and you have to make them fit. Once you do and have enough it gives you points and you can continue until you have run out of moves. It really does help and it keeps you entertained.

This game is a good (perhaps too good) way to blow some time. Simple, few ads, no obvious bugs. There is one annoyance however that is not enough for me to stop playing but is still irritating nonetheless. Actually, it is enough for me to stop playing. Many times I’ve accidentally swiped over the quit/restart button on the bottom left….usually when I’m pursuing a high score. There really needs to be a confirmation dialog, or at least a setting to have a confirmation dialog.
