How to fix Octopus app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the Octopus app on iPhone
Update Octopus app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall Octopus iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix Octopus on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve Octopus network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, Goto "Settings" » "General" » "Reset" » "Reset Network Settings".
2. Enter your device passcode. Then confirm "Reset Network Settings".

1. Goto "Settings" » "General" » "VPN".

Fix Octopus not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Follow these steps to resolve intermittent Octopus app issues:

Force Stop the Octopus App
1. On android, goto "Settings" » click Octopus app. » click "Force Stop".

Update Octopus to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear Octopus App Cache and Data:
1. On your device, goto "Settings" » click "Apps" » select "Octopus app" » click "Storage" » click "Clear Data" option. This Clears both data and cache.
2. Relaunch Octopus.

Fix Octopus unable to contact server/ Octopus internet connection errors on Android:

This issue is usually caused by your network. Here is how to fix:

On android, goto "Settings" » "Apps" or "Manage Apps" tab.
Click Octopus » "Force Stop".
Next, goto "Storage" » "Clear Data".
Again, got Octopus » "Mobile Data" » "Allow Background Data Usage".
Go back to "Settings" » "Connections" » "Mobile Network" » "Network Mode".
Now, put your network on 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch Octopus on android.
