I love the new idea behind this app, but I find myself never using it and I have several reasons why. One of my biggest issues is the limit on public photos. I was so excited about this app because of the idea of “carefree” posting, I’ve always been so nervous about posting on other social media platforms and this sounded perfect for me. However I was incredibly disappointed when I found out I can only have 15 public posts. This makes me 1. not want to post in general because no one is going to see it 2. nervous on what to put on my public page because I want to make a good first impression. This, in my opinion takes away the “carefree” part of herd. Second, I don’t like the like button feature. I think the idea is cute, but if the creator can’t even see the reactions then what is the point? On a positive note, I love the “beneath the surface” feature, the customizable feed and the overall look of the app. I can’t wait to watch this platform grow!

I feel like it’s a good idea but very lacking in execution. The fact all posts are image-based greatly limits what you can actually do. The way you can decide what’s on your feed instead of being done by an algorithm was already done on tumblr in the form of tagging, and much better too. The selection of things you can choose is both too vast and very limited. It still just feels like posting for the sake of getting attention, even though that’s exactly what this app claims to avoid. Overall, the mediocre execution makes for an app that’s uninspired and not particularly entertaining or enjoyable to use. Like I said, this app has a lot of potential, but I think it is overall lacking.

love the fact that you can pick your own interests and that every person on your timeline has an interest in common with you! the only addition i’d like to see on this app is the ability to see what other’s interests are aside from the ones you have in common, maybe after you both add each other back! it’d really bring people together to not just talk about what you have in common, but our own individual interests too ! And also, the interest picks are great but some are really specific while some aren’t specific enough. It’d be great in the next update to add more options and maybe even allow us to be able to choose as many as we want or a bigger number than just 15 (it’s so hard to choose!)
Other than that, what an amazing app! Love that there’s no followers/like counts! this app is completely stress free and really connects people. love love love !! keep it up
