I’m part of a system of nearly 50 members and I’ve been using SimplyPlural for over six months now. It’s the only thing I’ve found to be useful on keeping tabs on everyone and who’s in my body when I’m not. I’ve been operating as a system consistently for four years and I’ve never learned so much about my folks than with SimplyPlural. Journaling can’t come close to how easy it is to edit profiles and “clock in”. Cataloging fronts and time gaps has been so helpful and validating. This is the only tool that I’ve been able to actually get anyone to use let alone my stubborn folks. It’s so easy for my fictives that don’t understand our technology and my phone to use and understand as well.

Anyway, if there were any suggestions (if you’re looking for that): I would really like the ability to add multiple pictures to a profile, and to be able to swipe through a headmate’s pictures like a dating app profile maybe? (I’m sure that be a lot of work but hear me out) then you could not only make their profile reflect who that person is so much better, but you could also have pictures of what they look like in the body. (I like trying to recognize expressions in my folks and this would make it so much easier— and to see how they dress). Not to mention folks that age slide. I think that’d be important to a lot of systems, I know it would be in ours.

I have lists upon lists upon lists of alters and every single one of them is outdated. I’ve tried keeping journals I’ve tried looking for apps like this before and nothing has worked out. It’s been organized enough internally but externally it’s C H A O S.

When I found out about this (through Reddit) I immediately raced over here to download it. When we started inputting our information I realized just how nice of an app this is and how much of a QoL change this will be for all of us. I burst into tears and I’m still crying. I am so genuinely grateful for this.

The ability to change primaries/fronting is great, the likes and dislikes, the pronoun option, even being able to select our own colors…. I mean really, sincerely, thank you so much forever and ever and ever.

SimplyPlural is a wonderful concept but right now there are too many bugs for us to be able to use it. we can’t edit any members. any changes we make are just reverted when we save. you dont seem to be able to assign pictures to members at all right now either. for a few days all our data completely disappeared from SimplyPlural . i guess it was because they were migrating servers but there was no notice or communication in SimplyPlural that this was happening. — it doesnt really make sense for an app like this to rely on servers to function. almost all of its functionality would work fine with an app that locally stores its data, and as someone who does programming, trying to structure it this way when it isnt needed probably adds unneeded complexity which can cause more bugs and make them harder to fix. for example, the recent issue where SimplyPlural could not be used for a few days would not have happened if they had not designed it this way. also it means that all data about members you enter into it is probably stored on the developers server. which im sure some people might not want, since this sort of thing is very private to many people. — SimplyPlural again is a wonderful idea and the developers should be praised for trying to make an app like this but currently it has a lot of issues that make it unusable for us, even though we would really like to use it.

SimplyPlural is amazing so far! i love how easy it is to edit things and mark things down. we’re really happy about the pk integration, that helped a lot. the ability to add notes is very nice, and the detail you can add to everyone’s profiles is wonderful. however, we haven’t exactly been able to figure out how to log switches, or if we have it seems pretty difficult. if someone could help us out with that that’d be awesome!

some things we think could be added - if you guys are looking for that stuff - is written poll options (like you could make a list a things people can pick from instead of only having the yes, no, abstain, veto options). we also think adding an option to make certain alter notes private, and to see groups an alter is in in their profile would be helpful.

overall SimplyPlural is awesome and we’d highly recommend it for people did/osdd. these disorders can be really disorienting and SimplyPlural could definitely make it easier. thank you developers for putting so much time and effort into this :))

this is great app that helps our system a lot! we can track when you switch, add multiple people to the front. Every alter can write comments start polls. it’s an amazing app and highly recommend. the thing is the new update completely broke SimplyPlural ! it keeps having the loading screen “setting things up for you” (has been loading for over an hour) it’s so disappointing bc we have been using this for the past 2 weeks and it has helped so much. but because we can’t open it we haven’t logged switches in days. very disappointing. i’ve rede loaded SimplyPlural multiple times but it’s still not working :/

Heyo! I want to start with saying that this is a great app, however, theres a bug when trying to make/rearrange custom fields. I made a custom field and wanted to move it near the top of the list instead of having it at the bottom. Every time I click the button to rearrange the order, any custom fields I've added disappear. When I try to move the default fields around, they also disappear. Its similar just trying to add a custom field too. Restarting SimplyPlural shows the added custom fields again, and you can edit them as you see fit until you try to add more or rearrange the order. Please fix ASAP 👍

SimplyPlural is amazing for our system! We love how we can keep track of things! We have a few suggestions…

1. Instructions on what everything does
You just sorta have to poke around to figure out how to add a person or group.

2. Something that says what everything does
We don’t know what the “custom front” thing is. And didn’t know what the groups were for.

3. Multiple 👏 Alter 👏 Colors!!
We have three alters who use two colors for themselves.. and SimplyPlural only lets you have one! There should be a second color optional option.

4. Your account color or “system color” can be multiple colors and/or a photo. Our system uses all the alter colors for our “system color”…

5. Easier way to find the alter notes and polls
It’s hard for each of us to find the polls to do them. And there’s no way to see if an alter has a note

Hello, we had been using SimplyPlural for a month now. After a little period of not using SimplyPlural and after the recent update we opened it to update some information, but everything is missing. We had front history and comments, as well as a good amount of us documented but now its like we just started to use SimplyPlural again. I checked to see if we werent logged in but it even says “Log Out” not sure if this is something you can fix, but we wanted to let you know that this was an issue that happened. Thank you very much for SimplyPlural otherwise, it’s very helpful for systems who wish to communicate and see who is really around. Best of Luck. -Adam

We’ve been using SimplyPlural since the moment we could download it on the AppStore because we have a very bad memory, and it’s helped us keep track of a lot. We loved it, it was a lifesaver because we were able to see what was happening and who was around and look back on it later. It was great for seeing who did what events and all that. The little things we needed. But with these last updates it’s all gone. First SimplyPlural wouldn’t load so we couldn’t log things, but now with this latest update, SimplyPlural opens but everything is gone. None of our information is there. We lost it all. I’m devastated. Please fix SimplyPlural. I doubt it’ll get my information back but I want to hold out hope.

I love SimplyPlural. It helps us keep track of members and their switches so, so well, and our singlet s/o and a few of our singlet friends have it so they know who's fronting when they talk to us, and even allows for special statuses, which we use to log when we have migraines, when we're non-verbal, or when we're at work, so it helps us find correlation between these events and let people know if there's anything else they need to know. It's wonderful.

But after this newest update, suddenly I can't access anything! The screen just says "Setting things up for you" and "Applying Update 76" and sits there. I left it on that screen for over 30 minutes and nothing happened, so I can no longer access SimplyPlural at all! Some of my friends are having the same issue. Please fix it!

Me and my friend (who is also a system) use this mainly to keep track of our headmates. They have a bigger system than us so they find it more practical than we do. Something that we do enjoy is the polls. It’s an easy way to decide something without having to check journals and it gives everyone the chance to vote, as long as they have our phone on them. I also enjoy that it tells your friends who is fronting. This is a good resource for systems but also be sure to have other resources available.

As a diagnosed DID system, I think SimplyPlural is extremely helpful and it helps us track who’s fronting as well as letting our fiancée know who’s fronting.

We would REALLY like if under the “notes” section for a specific alter you could upload photos! It would be nice to add photos of that alter, things they like, important events for that alter, or things they do that are happy memories or important information. This would be good with a privacy setting that allows you to choose whether only your system or if trusted friends can see the photos.

Additionally, it would be helpful if you could make a place for alters to chat with one another. We were originally trying to find an app that lets different alters type in a system chat.
If these things are added, I absolutely will change my rating to 5 stars :) thank you!

So into the new update. Well when it wasn’t loading I just didn’t open it because it just wasn’t working and we have no patience. So I was just waiting for the fixed update so I can start using SimplyPlural again! I have a lot of alters and when I finally updated it- all my alters, friends and history was deleted. I tried logging in and out multiple times as well. We are very upset with this and now we have to redo everything that took us hours to do in the first place. Other then this We really enjoy SimplyPlural it helps me (the owner of the body) keep track of everything but I’m very stressed now that we have to redo everything.

it was great when we first got it: polls, easy front tracking, it was easy for us to keep things in line and made decision making better for us. but then today it automatically updated and when i tried to open it up, it had logged us out. i don’t know the login information but i easily could figure it out so that wasn’t an issue. until it wouldn’t let me login normally and it kept making me create an account instead. i got insanely frustrated and just deleted SimplyPlural . it’s way too buggy and all of our friends have had issues with it too. i won’t be redownloading this and i’m sure the rest of our system won’t either. we’ll find a method that works for us WITHOUT having buggy issues like this.

We all love SimplyPlural, as it has made tracking front times much easier. After we updated SimplyPlural last night, however, nothing on it will load. It shows blank screens on every tab, rendering SimplyPlural useless. Also, every time we go to load SimplyPlural , it kicks us back to the “Applying update 76” screen. We’ve sat through that screen so many times hoping that the issue will resolve itself, but the issues persist. We love using SimplyPlural, and hope that these issues will be resolved as soon as possible (Also we have heard from other systems that they are experiencing the same issues.)

SimplyPlural has been so so helpful for our system, i highly recommend for others. my one request/suggested change is adding the option for photos on the “notes” section of an alter. oftentimes one of us likes to put messages to others or photos for some reason in the notes section for communication purposes, and haven’t been able to because that isn’t an option as of yet. Otherwise, SimplyPlural is wonderfully made, thank you devs!

Me and my system have used SimplyPlural for a few months now without any issues, but since the recent update SimplyPlural will not load at all. It remains on the loading screen saying “Applying Update 76” I’ve already updated SimplyPlural so I’m confused on why it’s saying that. And once it finishes loading it doesn’t give me true option to log in, only register (I never log out so that also confuses me.) I initially thought it was my phone, until it did the exact thing on my iPad when I tried. I don’t know if it’s a bug or not, but I’d like it to be fixed soon if that okay :(

this is a wonderful app that has helped my family and i, and the system i'm a part of. it helps us all keep track of what is going on. the only thing that knocks it down a star is the glitches. sometimes i have to delete and redownload SimplyPlural because it won't open! it's also kind of buggy! sometimes it will delete all of our members, but after a few hours they reappear. it's very annoying and worrying, but after the first time it happened we realized it was just a glitch. it also won't allow us to uplod photos. it did in the beginning, but just recently it's started asking if we are connected to wifi, and won't upload the photos. another issue we notices is that when we go to change the times the twitch ended, it takes a while to load or sometimes it just doesn't show up at all and we can't change the time our switch ended. but like i said, other than that, a great app!

Super excited about SimplyPlural - thank you SO much for making it

I know it’s in early access but just wanted to check Bc I’m having a glitch where it logged me out and now I’m eternally stuck in a loop of it trying to make me make a new account but I can’t because I already have one. Deleted and re downloaded and it’s still doing the same :/

Super excited for this overall but would love suggestions on how to fix this glitch ❤️

This is a pretty cool app for us as a baby system, as we did everything via pk, but rely on pics to know who is who. Helps to be able to scroll through the member list and be like, “oh! That’s me!”

Only complaint we would have is the learning curve. It was fairly difficult to figure out SimplyPlural at first, and it would be nice if there was like an in depth tutorial to help (especially with the switch log). (Unless we just skipped right past the tutorial, cause we have done that before)

Our only request would be the option to let friends see our notes/polls? Especially for us cause we do like letting our partners see our thought process a lot, and it would be nice to help them see what we’re talking about!

Overall, amazing app! Hope it stays strong in the long run!

Thank y’all for SimplyPlural. One thing that would make this far more accessible would be an Apple Watch compatible add on so we could switch whom is marked as fronting via a tap/scroll complication etc. widgets on phone and iPad might help…still exploring. Love the PluralKit import. Very helpful.

Simply Plural has just come out on IOS as I write this and it’s amazing! The ability to poll members? Mwah. EVEN BETTER, you can import all your members from Pluralkit. I do have one suggestion though. Maybe make a checkbox you can check if you want a specific friend to be able to override all privacy settings? I.E, if I set member A to private and I checked the checkbox, the friend of my choosing would be able to see all private members. This is because I want certain people to have more access than others. For example, I’d want my partner to be able to see all my private members but not a Twitter mutual. (My twitter is @BluejaySystem if you wanna ask anything)

SimplyPlural is amazing. It’s helped me so much! Not only with grounding and keeping track of past events and who was when where and what, but with my confidence in our system!
